Reflections on the Recce Rifle

Last year I built a rifle based on the Recce rifle concept using multiple components including another excellent upper from Midstate Firearms. It turned out great. I was recently browsing through some pictures and came across the one below which showed a group I shot at around 50 yards while sighting in the mounted Vortex Strike Eagle scope.

The rifle has continued to impress, although I have not shot it nearly as often as I would like. Between the Vortex 1-8X, the CMC trigger, and the Midstate Firearms upper, I’ve been impressed where this gun has made me a better shooter than I have been in the past. I’ve often said every gun I have will shoot better than me.

The 3-shot group above was at 100-yards. Zero was set at around 50-yards thus a high 100-yard group is expected.

Range day – 100-yard shooting.

Conversion Manual

Warning: This manual is sold for informational purposes only. The conversion of a Ruger 10/22 to fully automatic operation - although is completely awesome and a boatload of fun - is highly illegal. You've been warned!

The Ruger 10/22 is the most widely sold, purchased, and owned .22LR firearm in the United States. Why? Exceptionally reliable, very accurate, easy to operate, and very budget-friendly. It also has the largest selection of aftermarket parts available that is second to possibly only the AR-15 platform.

Included with purchase are several variations of this out-of-print, out-of-date conversation manual. The differences between the version are slight and include reproduction quality and orientation.

Again - Sold for informational purposes only!

Thanks for Looking!!!
