My turn…..
Recent Preps – Had a prepper friend of mine who recently moved pass on a bunch of canned goods and assorted supplies to me. This included some camo jackets, pistol bag, and even an old Midland CB.
PlayOn Cloud: For those of us who have given up cable and satellite and still want to enjoy movies and TV have several options out there. I recently discovered PlayOn Cloud. I am just starting to mess around with it. I can “record” movies and shows from my Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime account among others. The cost is .40 cents per recording and they often have sales which drops the price down to .20 per record. All recordings are downloaded and can be viewed on any multimedia device including most Smart TV’s.
The River: Have spent a good amount of time already this year kayaking. Heading out today as well. I hope to see a big Alligator Gar on one of these trips.
Coupons: The wifey and I have recently got back into couponing. A local lady sells coupons which provides us quite a time saving opportunity. Stocking up on some essential cleaning and sanitation supplies inexpensively so far.
GUNS & STUFF:
I promote Mid State Firearms frequently and for good reason. Not only do they help support 1776PatriotUSA but they have some really great products. For my upcoming lightweight build I looked all over the Internet for a pencil-barreled upper and struggled finding one that would fit my budget. I contacted Mid State and asked if they would build me one as they did not have one as a stock product.
The results are below.
REMINDER: Want to help support what we do here at 1776PatriotUSA.com? Follow any link from this website to Amazon, make a purchase, and we receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Not a single penny more.

Your turn……
Watched The Survivalist last night. Depressing… On a lighter note, just found out I had missed Fear The Walking Dead Season 3, so I can get uplifted by binge watching that now!
Also had some buddies out shooting on farm, lots of people were digging the Glock 19 over Beretta 92FS and Sig P226.
Lucky guy…
I finally did pick up a kindle fire 8 GB and 32 GB SSD.. good so far. Not a bad device
Got a couple hundred freebies and prep type materials on there so far. I have thousands of pages so I’m going through stuff and putting essentials on it.
Did a full inventory and added shelving to consolidate my spread out food and canning and other supplies. I really helps to have a handle on everything you have and know what to work on next. and consolidating all the canning supplies really helps.
Been adding to food and medical lately.Got a source for new quail free if I hatch them .. YAY!! and some free quail eggs to pickle .. seems to be a demand for that.
canning more of the garden and the wife asked for a Kitchen Aid with some goodies for canning and cooking for anniversary.. and birthday…. more attachable stuff than an AR. Once is for grinding meat and making sausage. She’s happy so I am.. and we’ll lose less garden stuff to spoilage waiting for time to can. Nothing ever really goes bad, since critters eat that as well. But canning it is better. Oh we took a riverboat dinner cruise too.
Our Easter eggers are laying now so we have “blue” eggs. Will hatch some of those out as well.Of course we now have more than expected roosters, so we’ll have some freezer stock.
Ok .. Question. I don’t throw away anything .. so as I now have a daily med or two unlike a couple years ago. I have lots of cool bottles that when labels are removed, work for bits, hooks, weights, tinder, powered aluminum etc.. for the shop and or bag..
With that in mind.. What do you guys use them for ?
Our country sucks politically.. freakin McCain.. prepping harder now.. to quote princes Amidala “It’s clear the Republic no longer functions”
Oh and BTW shoot NK’s crap out of the sky for our allies and the threats.. and get ready to for Iran.. Space exploration my arse!
Let’s see I am sure I haven’t [pissed of everyone .. 🙂 ,eh .. that’s enough.

Fortunately, I do not take any medications (knock on my head), but i did find an old medication bottle laying around the house. I noticed when I try to package instant coffee it eventually ends up a solid brick. I decided to test this spare medicine bottle as an instant coffee storage. So far, about 3 months in, the coffee is still as loose as when I put it in. Has anyone else tried this, and if so, what were your results?
For vaseline cotton balls, I store them in plastic snuff tins. I tried other methods, but they get cemented in there pretty good in jars or baggies and get destroyed trying to get them out.The snuff tin holds 7 cotton balls and they come out pretty easy because it is only one layer, side by side like bread rolls. I also use the snuff tins for a small coil of fire rope (parafin soaked 100% cotton rope- 1/4 inch diameter). For some reason, I always have a surplus of snuff tins.
((((Yawwwn) I’m worn out. I think this has been the busiest summer my family has ever had. Just got from a little get together. Finished it off by stopping by Krispy Kreme as treat for the family.
Gotta get up at 5am tomorrow morning, run 5.9 miles and hit the obstacle courses for tough mudder training.
I ran into a racist liberal Friday evening, literally. We exchanged a few words do to them walking up on me fast and then running into me on purpose. Sure, they were looking for a fight. No swear words, but ended the encounter like this. I said, “really, so now your gonna punch me in the face over something stupid like an exchange of words?” I kinda lost my cool and said, “Jesus, give me a break.” Looked at the person like they were stupid, and walked off. I was fully on guard and watching my peripheral, but it was all I could do to restrain myself. Had that person advanced in an aggressive manner.. Honestly, I cannot promise I would not have killed them, literally.
There is a switch I have, but if it’s ever flicked on. I don’t play…it’s to the death every single time! My platoon used to call it, Vicious! Forgive me for bearing my war face, if you will. One time when my son was under five and I was furious he saw, my war face. He said, Dad you scared me. You had your “scary face” on. I’m sure this is the face the liberal saw on my face last night. The pure rage and hell-fire in my eyes. Surely, the look of a pyscho about to go off made them pause for just about a second, thinking whoa. I’m also sure in a blink of an eye they decided not to swing and run either. Kicking a devil dog will only result in it chasing you down.
GG58- We use those medicine containers for storing cotton with petroleum for fire starters, for extra meds to store in vehicles and overnight bags- for storing coins-
for storing q-tips ,otherwise we recycle them.
I agree re: N K and Iran.
52 up north here tonight. Lightning
Repaired a few more mechanical watches… I think I’m up to 18 now.
Picked up several art supplies at a Goodwill store…. trying to build a supply of entertainment items.
