One of my favorite songs right now is by an artist named Struggle Jennings. He has had several popular songs, with “God We Need You Now” being the most popular and one of my absolute all-time favorites.
Who is Struggle Jennings:
Struggle Jennings is an American rapper and songwriter known for blending Southern rock, country, and hip-hop. Born William Harness in Nashville, Tennessee, he is the grandson of country music legend Waylon Jennings and the nephew of Shooter Jennings. Struggle rose to fame through his gritty, autobiographical lyrics that often reflect themes of hardship, addiction, redemption, and resilience. After serving time in prison, he relaunched his music career with a focus on personal transformation and independence, often collaborating with other artists like Jelly Roll and his daughter, Brianna Harness.
