It is telling that so many people – mostly non-preppers – are stocking up before Tuesday. There are news reports of militia and “patriot groups” that are standing by ready to act should Trump lose. I think that is a bit alarmist, however, should there be significant evidence of voter fraud activity should be expected. Regardless of the outcome of the election, many have shown that it takes little to riot, loot, steal, and commit acts of violence. Those stocking up have watched what has happened in 2020.
News is reporting massive increases in COVID cases as well. Europe is experiencing its own influx of cases and many areas are beginning to shut down their economies again.
Uncertainty promotes anxiety and in some cases panic. If you’re reading this you are likely squared away, at least for whatever may occur as a result of the election.
Are you seeing empty shelves in your area? In some of the forums I visit I’m seeing reports of supplies out of stock both in the store and online. Ammunition continues to be in very short supply. Reloading supplies also hard to find.
The election is a few days away. While the election and the results of it are concerning – the true events to plan for is likely at least a couple of years away. Prep. Prep some more. Food, water, defense, medical, knowledge – make it happen.
Make it happen.

I just received an interesting e-mail from Walmart.com.
They are having a “Stock up sale”
I have been ordering from them for years and never received one of these before.
Empty shelves of many canned veggies at Walmart, but they’ve had problems with stocking for YEARS now. No empty shelves at Aldi’s or Costco. We only hit the Costco because the Spawn had to hit the bank, and the closest branch is very close to it.
I only shop on line. I have not been an actual store for 2 years now. I only started having trouble with out of stock merchandise about two months ago.
Very telling.
We are in the Flathead Valley of Northwest Montana. No shortages here on food or any supplies except canning jars and lids. l have not been to Wal Mart since they lost their nerve on the gun issue so it’s unknown how there shelves are stocked.
Any suggestions that I could make would be preaching to the choir so I’ll just say good luck and God Bless.

Looked for pistol primers on line, out of stock was found on all the sites I went on. I looked at some Canadian sites and they had primers but do not ship to the USA.

Southwest Florida here, shelves are fine and all is well so far, I’ve been a lot of punk rock kid faces around town the last few days, completely out of the ordinary for my town, makes me wonder if their not getting Antifa set up in towns in advance to try and fan the flames and create conflict, probably me being paranoid senses are heightened to the max, maybe it’s me but it feels like something bad is getting ready to happen, the understatement of 2020!
It’s noticeable in West TN but not so that everything is not available. certainly reduced number of brands and the more expensive ones are left.
Given why we are here and what we think as well as how we are like, we prepare. Most of us already are.
In that vein I am separating myself from everyone else for a few days .. to wait and see. I am prepared to not have results settled for several days or weeks even..
As an aside I have noticed that the number of FLU cases are well below last years on the order of 60%. This at the same time as COVID numbers have surged and “right at election time”. Probably not coincidental. Of course we have long since understood COVID cases make more money than a FLU other “run of the mill infection”. Also not coincidental.
We can neither expect what is legal, nor moral in the days to come. We can of course expect more censorship and media manipulation. If you are a FAN of Samuel Culper and the “Forward Observer”, he often dwells on legit information sources, as well as area specific information.
