Protesting and exercising 1st Amendment rights is as American as apple pie. The looting, rioting, and destruction taking place in areas across the country is not protesting – it’s anarchy. While there is no shortage of jokes going around about how these rioters come from their “mommies basement” and can be disbanded by throwing job applications at them – it’s a very serious situation. These rioters are fairly well organized, some are backed financially and even have legal representation, and are large in numbers. Police are powerless to respond in some areas due to being outnumbered – and the politics being played make things worse. Governors and mayors in the areas most affected are largely allowing the rioting to just continue. Large volumes of National Guardsmen are not being deployed. Curfews are enacted, threats of arrest are made, but, in the end, millions of dollars in damages are incurred and lives are lost.
The problem with movements such as BLM and Antifa is they fester and react on problems and specific events. They will grab hold of the smallest thing – or the biggest – and motivate their followers to behave in a manner that defies logic and common sense. Similar to a terrorist organization or financial religion? Absolutely. In 2020 there is no shortage of problems and a trend is continuing to show that not only are these rioters “triggered” more easily, but they are becoming more emboldened in their actions and demands.
One recent situation involved people eating in a restaurant. A BLM crowd came into the restaurant and told everyone to raise a fist in solidarity with BLM. One couple sitting at a table wouldn’t comply – and they were targeted. They were screamed at and threatened by numerous people. No violence – but infiltration of personal space certainly happened.
There are multiple sides and numerous facets to the issues which protesting and riots are taking place. Racial injustice and systemic racism is frequently heard from BLM. Antifa stands for economic equality(socialism) and says they are against fascism and capitalism. We all know they are actually the fascists. BLM and Antifa are but two groups that are most notable. Numerous militia groups and freedom-loving Patriots have also made themselves known as they stand against the policies – and groups – which are supporting economic COVID shutdowns as well as the rioting and looting. I have said for years when we get to a point where rioting is a daily event AND firearms are being used on both sides a tipping point has been reached – or is close at hand. It is now becoming more and more common that multiple sides are armed and actually engaging in firefights. People are being shot and people are dying.
The outcome of the elections in November will have an impact on this civil unrest. Should Trump gain an additional 4 years in the White House I am expecting a dramatic increase in protesting and violence. Should the Biden/Harris ticket win many who are protesting for change will have their outrage quelled and likely will garner some sense of satisfaction and patience to wait and see the change they so desire to occur. But hey – who knows?
Now is not the time to be complacent.

I told someone this morning, the shooting in Kenosha last night could be the next “shot heard round the World” Yes, we are that close now. Both sides are armed and it is only going to get worse.
I don’t think it really matters who gets elected in November. The ball has started rolling and is picking up steam.
These Elections are going to be heavily contested on Both sides. It make take weeks or even Months before we have an actual decision.
Bottom line, this will not end soon and will not end well. I am prepping like a mad man. Have been for 30 years, but really amp it up now!

John, true. I think I’m Bunker Joe wins we will continue to see this behavior, at least to some degree, as the dems will use it to pressure is in to socialism and eventually to communism. That is why I believe China wants Joe to win, he will be a proxy president doing their bidding.
JohnP – agree to some extent these radical movements will continue. Some believe if Biden wins a new movement will be born from the Right. Nothing like BLM – very “underground” and only action being seen and publicized. Anonymous videos and communication being possible. Some say the election of Biden could only be done with election tampering and if that happens a fight to take this country back must occur. We shall see.

Good article as always JR, I think that the BLM and Antifa are controlled by the Democrats and Soros. I think the liptard mayor/governor combo states that are deliberately holding back their police force and state militia otherwise known as the national guard are “all in” so to speak, in other words their betting it all on their side winning and using federal funds under the gise of the “green new deal” to rebuild their downtowns and claim the title of social justice champions, their party has been the party of hate and “RESIST” at every turn of Trump, they have no policy’s at all and needed to CRRATE one last minute, after all SCARED 😱 little SHEEP are good little sheep and do what their told, what’s sacrificing a little liberty and freedom for safety going to hurt all the little sheep keep saying over, and over, and over, as they slowly take, take, and take more of our freedoms away… they learned on 9/11 when we openly allowed homeland security to spy on our own citizens in the name of SAFETY HOW THEY WOULD TAKE OVER TBE UNITED STATES, and everyday Trump is in office he takes us further and further away from that agenda, so much so that they have bitterly pulled out all the stops, openly admit to their radical ideals, they are censoring us on ALL social platforms, they are rapidly changing voting laws so they can make sure they will win the election…. it’s all or nothing, it’s right now or never, it’s do anything and everything at ALL cost to keep Trump from being reelected in 2020, they do t care about after the election, their media and social networks arnt going to keep lying 🤥 to a public who’s becoming more and more aware after the election when Trump wins…. their all going to be about hiding all the crap they’ve done, backstepping holding their police back, and be about law and order, the mayors and governors that don’t get elected out that is….. Amen to that my brother, as I always “try” to live by the words of “hope for the best, and PREPARE for the worst… that being said I agree with you JR and the other commenters ahead of me, now is not the time to be relaxed and look away, for many of us myself included it’s a call to not only continue our preparations but to double down on our efforts! This as you and others have mentioned could totally ignite the flames of division in our great land, our country, way of life, the American dream are ideals, and these ideas we all are guilty in one extent or another are so very fragile… and could disappear in a instant if were not vigilant.
