    I appreciate the interest that has been shown regarding the Sawyer Mini Water Filter Bucket Kit. I have enjoyed using the Sawyer Mini Water Filter. It is simple to operate, reliable, and inexpensive. The biggest drawback of the Sawyer is using it with multiple people. It can be done but you’re either all sucking on the same straw or using a lot of time and energy filling small bags or bottles with dirty water and squeezing through the filter. I figured there had to be a better way to use this great filter.

    Enter: the Sawyer Mini Water Filter Bucket Kit.

    This simple kit adapts the Sawyer Mini Water Filter(not included) for bucket use. Once a hole is drilled in the supply bucket the components are assembled(instructions included) – and then the Sawyer is attached. That’s it.

    Currently, the needed drill bit is not included as I didn’t want to add the expense for something that people may have already. Regardless – any local Harbor Freight, Home Depot, or Lowe’s carries the bit and of course Amazon.

    #1: Started with a bucket and threw in a bunch of dirt and added a couple gallons of water.

    The results are impressive. It’s not surprising the water looked crystal clear after all that is what is supposed to happen. Flow rate was excellent at around 5-6 gallons an hour.

    I drank the entire glass of filtered water and found it had no off-taste and tasted like….well…..clean water. While this test was dealing with only sediment and suspended particles in water, the Sawyer also excels at removing pathogens and bacteria.

    The Taliban has taken control of Afghanistan and was given American guns at the same time the President wants to take yours away. Can’t make this up!

    Political division continues to grow amongst the US population.

    Some of the steepest inflation this country has ever seen continues to raise prices and reduce buying power.

    COVID continues to divide friends, families, and the entire country as it spreads in waves causing illness and death everywhere.

    California is on fire once again.

    Supply chain interruptions present challenges to businesses of all kinds.

    The stock market continues to hit all new highs.

    Continued reports of food shortages going into the winter and into 2022.

    Radical climate is being experienced around the world including flooding, intense heat, massive storms, etc.

    Some hospitals are refusing to see patients unless they are vaccinated.

    Ammunition continues to be in short supply and at elevated prices.

    So – what’s next

    This country and our lives have been changed. Period. What happens moving forward is the question and is certainly up for grabs. Economic struggles, societal rollercoasters, political corruption, medical chaos, civil conflict, stress, frustration……etc.

Jocko spent 20 years in the U.S. Navy SEAL Teams, starting as an enlisted SEAL and rising through the ranks to become a SEAL officer. As commander of SEAL Team Three’s Task Unit Bruiser during the battle of Ramadi, he orchestrated SEAL operations that helped the “Ready First” Brigade of the US Army’s First Armored Division bring stability to the violent, war-torn city.     Most people have some type of gas grill that operates on normal, everyday 20 lb. prone tanks. When the power goes out the gas grill suddenly becomes very important. Spare tanks are a great thing to have on hand, in quantity. Problem is to buy a new tank, and have it filled – you’re spending upwards of $50.

    Here’s a way to stock up on propane tanks and spend a little less:

    Used propane tanks can be found at yard sales, Craigslist, and on Facebook Marketplace. Prices as low as $5 each are not uncommon. Grab a few used propane tanks and then tank them to your local Walmart or propane service location and get them exchanged/filled.

    It’s important to know that propane tanks have to be recertified every 12 years. This means if you go buy a used tank and it is older than 12 years there is a good chance when you go take it to get filled they’ll reject the tank. If that occurs just take the tank to a grocery store – or Walmart – and exchange it for a newer tank. It is still cheaper than buying a brand new tank and getting it filled.

    I’ve brought up exchanging old out-of-date tanks before and been attacked by “Karen’s” who call this being dishonest and stealing. Let me go ahead throw this out there: An old tank received by the propane exchange company will simply be recertified, painted or wrapped, and then used. No big deal.

    If you are curious – here’s how to read the manufacture date of the tank:

    1. Locate the raised collar at the top of the propane tank.
    2. Find the “MFG DATE.” located along the collar.
    3. The first two numbers represent the manufacturing month, while the second two numbers is the year.

    So there you have. I’ve bought numerous tanks off Facebook Marketplace used and have built a very good supply.

    As insanely crazy as it might sound the banning of ammunition has been discussed for decades by gun control advocates. One of the main motivating factors is the 2nd Amendment itself. For the most part, anti-gunners have failed in their efforts to ban guns outright as the 2nd Amendment protects our right to “keep and bear arms.” Nowhere is ammunition mentioned, thus conceivably, ammunition is free game to be controlled and regulated as any other item.

    Over the years numerous ammunition proposals have been made including may that reached Congress:

    • Taxing ammunition to such an extent that it became unaffordable for most people
    • Requiring background checks in order to purchase ammunition
    • Requiring serial numbers on ammunition which would increase manufacturing costs, thus ammunition costs
    • Creating a law that would limit the amount of ammunition an individual would be allowed to possess
    • Elimination of “private sales” for ammunition
    • Banning of online ammunition sales

    I’m sure a few have been missed.

    As the Biden Administration has banned the importation of Russian firearms and ammunition, there is little doubt the gun control crowd will look at ways to expand into additional markets.

    While I don’t advocate panic buying for anything, everyone has to make up their own mind on how much ammunition – and other firearm-related items they have versus their need.

If you don’t have a Kindle, you can still download digital ebooks from the Kindle Store and read them on almost any media device. Amazon offers reading apps for Windows laptops, Mac computers, iPads, iPhones, as well as Android phones and tablets. Accessing and using the apps are very simple and intuitive.

    By the way – if you are looking for the old, out of print Paladin Press books you can find them over at PaladinPressBooks.com. They are available in a single USB with printable digital copies for $16.99. Great deal!!

    No argument over the need to get American’s out of harm’s way in Afghanistan and the majority of the rest of the world. We lost far too many and should not be the world’s police force. The C.F. that has and is going on right now as the United States bows to a bunch of knuckle-dragging inbred goat-loving terrorists is pathetic.

    What’s pathetic is while many AMERICAN’S who LOVE THESE UNITED STATES and ALL THAT IT HAS STOOD FOR are branded as DOMESTIC TERRORISTS and EXTREMISTS – while the Taliban are given a list of Americans and American-friendly Afgan’s names to “let through” the checkpoints.  Insanity!!!

    Biden made a televised speech this past Thursday evening. Afterward, my father-in-law and I walked outside and lowered the flag to half-staff. He saluted(retired Air Force) and I placed my hand over my heart and said a prayer. We both were thinking of those lost in Afghanistan and what is to come of this country.

    I recently made a video where I asked the question, “What is it going to take?” It seems like at a minimum some civil disobedience is in order to send a message that the Patriots have had enough.

    Those of us who enjoy sending freedom seeds downrange continue to pound into financial and supply oblivion with the ammunition market. The latest hit involves the Biden Administration banning the importation of Russian-made firearms and ammunition. Due to this, there has been a new run on ammunition driving prices up especially on common Russian imported calibers such as the 7.62 x 39.

    This is not a good situation. Based on my estimates up to 25-30% of the ammunition shot by 2nd Amendment supporters across America was imported from Russia. I know for myself at least 50% of long gun ammunition has been steel cased with most from Russia.  In pistols? Not so much.

    As usual, we will likely be our own worst enemy by going out and panic buying driving up the price. For those with AK’s and in need of ammo, I get it. Very little 7.62×39 and similar metric calibers is made in the United States nor outside Russia anywhere in any major quantities. It could be years before these calibers are available without spending a fortune. Right now might be the time.

    I hope Palmetto State Armory and other similar companies will invest in the equipment to mass-produce the ammunition which is needed to feed their guns. That might be the quickest solution.

    Guess I’m not buying that AK I’ve been drooling over.

    Rourke: I published the following letter a few years ago and upon revisiting it, I felt it was very valid today. Enjoy!

    We have lived in Alaska for coming on 8 years now and since coming here we have learned a lot about being prepared. We are survivors from hurricane Katrina and evacuated all the way up here to be with family that we hadn’t seen in years. After arriving we quickly learned that an Alaskan lifestyle is a different one. Let me explain. Things here in our fine state move slowly, the mail, stocks of ammo, and fruit comes in green to ripen at the grocery store. We were used to hot weather most of the year and having a garden almost year-round to experimenting with different tactics to grow anything here. So, prepping here is a tad different for us than our brothers and sisters in the lower 48. We have done a great job on building up a food pantry to not only stay off inflation but in case things get interrupted with the shipping, we have ample to survive awhile. Now, with that said, we face a dilemma most don’t and that is if and when the transportation to our state is interrupted at any point, things here will get dicey.

    We have taken a page out of a lot of old-timers books that have lived here for years and paid attention to prices, sales, and things like that to capitalize on building our inventory. Also, coming from a state that had hurricane prep as part of our schooling, we had those kinds of things taken care of, but here with the climate as it is, we were not prepared for the long winters. Sometimes it seems as winter flows right into summer and before you know it, its winter again? A different lifestyle for sure. Anyhow, we have learned that we must keep supplies in our vehicles and ensure we have things to stay warm should we break down somewhere. We also have taken an increased interest in firearms and other weapons that don’t require ammo. This is key, as the prices here are well… crazy. So, we have a backup of a backup just in case.

    So, what change in attitude am I writing about? Not ours, but that of our friends and work associates. It’s amazing to talk with the same people now that a year or two ago thought we were out of our minds prepping. We now get phone calls on how to set up a pantry, or firearms to have. We are helping families here understand that prepping just makes good sense and will help you thru even in the toughest of times. Even my commie liberal friends are getting on the wagon. I find this very interesting.

    I agree with the masses that I hope that nothing happens to our great country, but just paying attention and reading the news outlets of various places, you get the feeling that something is coming.

    In closing, I want to plead with our fellow peppers to reach out to your neighbors and friends and do your best to get them to understand that our way of life is not fanatical but just makes good sense. You will find that now with things as they are, people are more apt to at least listen to you rather than just dismiss you altogether.

    The world continues to spiral into insanity. The latest revolves around the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan. This will be short – politicians cannot win battles nor wars. The military has been handcuffed for decades. We have the most powerful fighting force in the world and if allowed to do their job to the maximum capability – the conflict in Afghanistan would have been over long ago and a somewhat democratic existence Afghans would be experiencing now. Very sad.

    The Biden administration has shown their complete incompetence. Well…….

    Approaching the SHTF We All Prepare For: I’ve recently had discussions with several people revolving around SHTF predictions. For the past few decades people – including me – have predicted numerous calamities. We’ve all been wrong. Far too often frustration over world events or situations generates an emotional response and dire predictions are made. Nowadays I truly try to look through the smoke, use facts and data – and use commonsense when considering the future. I’ll likely still bat .000.

    Right now as I tabulate all the information and calculate these complex algorithms using a fresh box of Crayola crayons – it just doesn’t look good. What’s that term – “borrowed time”? That begs the questions – “How much time?” & “What is coming?”

    What do you think? For me – just keep prepping and working towards goal completion every day. Many would consider the times we are living in at a minimum the beginning of the SHTF.

    Supply Chains: I continue to see empty shelves where certain supply categories are just wiped out. The reasoning behind these shortages is fairly complex and multifaceted. Labor shortages are a significant obstacle in manufacturing facilities across the country. Importation of raw materials and components is also an issue as countries have had and continue to have shutdowns. While overall the “shortages” are more like interruptions – any additional lockdowns could make things much worse.

    We are in late August with Fall just around the corner. Here in South Carolina, the heat has been intense and it certainly does not feel like Fall is fast approaching. As far back as I can remember between September and November was always a time to prepare for the coming Winter. Likely this is due to growing up as a kid in the frigid north.  Regardless – that feeling is beginning to stir within.

    The only hope we have for peace, security and the divine enabling necessary to share Christ with a world in darkness is to experience another great spiritual awakening. Christ will come for a bride filled with His love, compassion, righteousness and holy boldness. Paul said, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself… which is the fulfillment of the law… and knowing the time that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed. The night is almost gone, and the day is at hand. Let us therefore lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light” (Romans 13:9-12). This is not only a challenge, it is a command and it is to be obeyed right now!

    Several years ago I shared a message God burned into my heart. I titled it, We Have a Choice: Humility or Humiliation. What I shared is truth. We will either bow before God, or be broken before God. We will come to Him in humility as individuals, the church and the nation, or we will witness humiliation.

    An Attitude of Brokenness

    In the word that I shared calling for repentance and a return to God, I pointed out the fact that terrorists under demonic control targeted something representing our economic system and prosperity and it was not incidental. In light of the economic challenges we face today, two paragraphs in my message jump out from pages 6-7:

    “Many have made such an idol of economic gain and material possessions, I am not certain brokenness will come apart from the collapse of our economy and loss of treasured possessions. Selfish indulgences, revealed through sexual excesses and perversion, are promoted and defended as perfectly acceptable and normal. This attitude must be changed from within, and its effect will be visibly manifested in the lives and practices of our general population…

    We must have God’s power and protection in order to miss our enemies’ plans for us. Without this divine miracle, unparalleled, indescribable devastation is coming to our shores – truly “the sum of all fears.”

    This remains a word for this present moment. We have reached a point in America where the collapse of our economic systems may not come from the actions of an outside enemy. There is a very real enemy within our midst. It is an insidious worldview that blames the possibility of productivity and prosperity as the problem, rather than recognizing the idolatrous heart of many who have been given responsibility for the stewardship and oversight of the free market and the fertile field of opportunity. Jesus taught all who follow Him to pray, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth (in us and through us) as it is in heaven.” This means there is the very real possibility of being the light that dispels the darkness and reveals the correct approach to best solve every problem and challenge we face including the realm of economics.

    Light Dispels Darkness

    Many of our nation’s leaders are groping in darkness. Jesus proclaims clearly that He is the light of the world and that we have been left here as light and salt, and are to join together in heart harmony with God and holy unity with one another to become a light revealed as distinctly as a city set on a hill. If He told us to pray that His will would be done now, that means it’s possible. We can storm the gates of hell and overcome!

    He sends us as sheep in the midst of wolves, but not to be slaughtered. We are to be sheep walking and living in the shadow of the Almighty, the shelter of His wings and with the Great Shepherd guiding and illuminating our path. He says He will prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies. He will calm the troubled water and lead us in green pastures. As children of light we must diligently seek to lead our confused nation and the world out of darkness.

    God is not opposed to the possibilities and opportunities set before us, or the prosperity that enables us to freely bless those in need. Every Christian should be concerned about social ills and personal need. The compassion connection, however, must be established. Social concerns should be the legitimate concern of every Christian and every caring person on this planet. We are, too often, targeting the wrong enemy! Selfishness, greed, fear and indifference (to name only a few) are the real enemies of the life and godliness available to those who will humble themselves before the Almighty.

    A Necessary Course Correction

    The way to discover the necessary course correction for our Titanic ship of state is to fall before God in brokenness and humility. Let me share other points from the message, “We Have a Choice: Humility or Humiliation”:

    I don’t want us to get what we deserve. I cry out for mercy for me, my family members, friends and everyone – even those who chose to be our enemies. I don’t want anyone to perish but all to repent, just as the Bible emphasizes. This is the very desire of God’s heart.

    A change of heart and direction must take place in this nation. Brokenness will lead to true character, determination, self-sacrifice and a sincere desire to know and do what is right, regardless of the cost or sacrifice. The line distinguishing good from evil must become as distinct as the difference in light and darkness…

    I pray for a change of heart and direction, for true repentance to occur until our nation receives the truth of God, begins to live with the character, strength and faith that made America great in the first place, and allows selfless love to prevail rather than selfish indulgence.

    I am convinced brokenness will come. Count on it. The Bible says God’s Word is a hammer; its power can break our stubborn will. His Word is a fire; it can purify us. His Word is water; it can cleanse. The choice is ours: Choose life or choose the way that seems right to men and women – the fruit of which is death…

    At the present time, there is no doubt we have many enemies plotting our demise, but as Abraham Lincoln pointed out, the fall does not have to come at the hand of any enemy across the ocean. He stated, “If destruction be our lot, we our self will be its author and finisher.”

    Many are in the process of making very foolish decisions that will affect those yet to be born. God, bring us to our knees and lead us back to sanity and truth. We must come to understand, “Prosperity must be defined as life itself, rather than life’s possessions.” People must choose whom they will serve. We can eat the fruit of our own rebellious ways, or receive the liberating truth and life-changing love that God offers.

    The Right Fight … The Right Way … The Right Place … The Right Time

    Only right relationships with God will produce the necessary resolve to fight the right fight the right way in the right place at the right time. It is only through commitment to godly principles that we will have the character to make the sacrifices necessary to protect and preserve the truly priceless aspects of life. No political leader or party can be seen as our hope and security apart from the guidance of Divine Providence. As I heard Dr. Tony Evans say, “Hope does not arrive in any city on Air Force One.” I do believe, however, God has used President Trump the last three-and-a-half years to make very positive course corrections. I am praying he and other elected representatives will receive and follow the wisdom God freely offers. After four years of personal conversation and prayer with President Trump, I am convinced he wants to hear and heed God’s wisdom. Our hope and trust must be in the Lord!

    If we repent, we will be guided by God to return to time-tested, proven principles in complete harmony with the Word of God and the Judeo-Christian ethic. Families will be once again defined properly – husband, wife and children. All innocent life, in the womb and after birth, will be considered precious and worthy of protection.

    Our Freedom Protected — His Kingdom Revealed

    Our freedom will not only be diligently protected, but its benefits and blessings freely shared. While enjoying the privileges true prosperity affords us, we will cherish the responsibility and joy of sharing what we have with others. We will not be manipulated or motivated by greed, but moved by compassion and unselfish love. I am praying for this day.

    If we fall before God in brokenness and humility, He is anxious to lift us up and establish our lives and future on the unshakable rock of His truth – truly His Kingdom revealed on earth through the family of faith.

    On August 13th, 2021 the Department of Homeland Security issued a new Terrorism Advisory. In it, they specifically call out those who question vaccines and mask-wearing as potential extremists.

    Here is the direct passage from their advisory:

    Through the remainder of 2021, racially- or ethnically-motivated violent extremists (RMVEs) and anti-government/anti-authority violent extremists will remain a national threat priority for the United States. These extremists may seek to exploit the emergence of COVID-19 variants by viewing the potential re-establishment of public health restrictions across the United States as a rationale to conduct attacks.  Pandemic-related stressors have contributed to increased societal strains and tensions, driving several plots by domestic violent extremists, and they may contribute to more violence this year.

    Do a search for anti-vaccine and anti-mask and you will find numerous articles akin to those who question the COVID vaccines to domestic terrorists. Evidence is suggesting there may be a connection between fertility issues and the COVID vaccines. Yet, young women who are at extreme minimal risk from COVID are being required to take the vaccine in certain areas and industries.

    COVID continues to be the main governmental catalyst that is driving assaults on freedoms across the nation.

    For those who attempt to monitor, track, and make sense of the endless array of craziness going on in the world – it’s maddening. Trying to disseminate the BS presented as fact from all sides of any issue is frustrating, to say the least. Basing opinions and beliefs in facts and logic rather than emotion and fantasy takes work. We are living in a world where one biased side suggests that the COVID vaccine is an absolute necessity – a requirement. The other biased side will say COVID isn’t real and doesn’t exist. The truth lies somewhere in the middle. We have a cancel culture where if you have a certain opinion you will have social media accounts canceled, websites closed, and can even be targeted in your own neighborhood by those with a different opinion. We live in a world where men are allowed to compete against women in sports and American Olympic athletes turn their back to the flag and kneel during the national anthem. We live in a world wherein New York City and a growing list of other locations require special identification to go out to eat, to go to a gym, and engage in other common activities, but, do not require an ID to vote. We live in a world where restrictions are being placed on American citizens while illegals are accepted at our borders and then shipped all over the country.

    Do you want the truth? Can you handle the truth?

    It’s not going away and there is little that can be done to stop it.

    I have completely lost faith in the political system. No white knight in shining armor is going to ride in and save us. Corruption and social decay are far too embedded and rooted into the very fabric of this country. Like weeds completely infesting a lawn, it can be fixed by either tearing it out and replacing it completely – or killing it off and starting over.

    The Next Few Years

    Going much further out than a few years is an effort in futility. Far too many variables to accurately predict conditions 5-15 years out(though it can be fun). Where we find ourselves today is the result of years of slow and steady decay.  The economic challenges of rising prices for food, fuel, and many other products as a result of inflationary pressure will continue to tax wallets and bank accounts alike. Let’s review some of the challenges we will face over the next few years.

    Economics

    The aforementioned inflation is putting millions of families at a point that feeding the family daily is a struggle. Double-digit inflation with many food items has reduced buying power and will continue at least for the next few years.  Fuel continues to rise in cost and hopefully, a reverse trend will be seen soon. Many other products continue to see pricing increase as well as supply chain issues. I recently purchased some o-rings for my Sawyer Mini Water Filter Bucket Kit and found the cost went up 16%. Families will continue to work to either reduce expenses or raise income – or both. We can either fight against changing times with everything we’ve got – or work within the system to our advantage. When it comes to preparing for the future – financial preparation these days is a necessity.

    Steps to Consider:

    Precious Metals – Gold and silver have been used in commerce for hundreds of years. That will not be changing anytime soon. Gold is an excellent hedge against inflation while in a working economy, while silver is as well but also an excellent barter item. I highly recommend Money Metals Exchange if you are interested in precious metals.

    Cryptocurrencies – I know many scoff at the idea of digital currencies. Welcome to the modern era. Cryptocurrencies are becoming more mainstream every day and when looking at ways to increase wealth(buying power) crypto is excellent – and also high risk. For purchasing crypto I recommend Robinhood and Coinbase. Sign up for Coinbase, deposit $100 or more – get $10 in Bitcoin. BTW – I’ve been messing arounf with Crypto for several months and have done very well.

    Debt Reduction – Eliminating or reducing debt must be part of any plan to fight the economic catastrophe. Debt elimination provides freedom of whatever revenue you have coming in. If job losses occur, low expenses will allow whatever income reaches your wallet to go further.

    Secondary Streams of Income – Creating a secondary stream of income can not only provide extra funds for saving, debt reduction, or purchasing – but security in case job change or unemployment should occur. Examples of common ways to generate streams of income include eBay, yard sales, part-time jobs, landscaping, and nude modeling. Ok – just kidding about that last part(maybe).

    Employment – Right along with secondary streams of income is employment. For millions of Americans being unvaccinated will limit the ability to have gainful employment. This not only affects earning power but also the ability to get health insurance. As frustrating as it may be the harsh reality is those who choose to NOT take the jab are going to be targeted. Preparing for such an inevitability should be at the top of your priority list IF you fit into that category.

    Networking

    The “Lone Wolf” ideology used to be popular back in the ’80s. The general consensus now is it takes a TEAM of people to not just maintain a property but to handle all the tasks that need to get done….done. Networking and forming a group is absolutely needed. With multiple members, you have many skillsets and talents. In an economy where certain people may be economically challenged(no damn money) as well as possibly have restrictions due to their “designation”  – having fellow group members who can assist with needed projects is a HUGE thing.

    Let me state it plainly: There may be a time that someone who refuses to accept a vaccine or some other government requirement and they cannot find work. Their earning power is diminished. A fellow group member knows plumbing and is willing to fix a problem for 20 pre-1965 dimes.

    See how that works?

    Being a member of a survival group – a Mutual Assistance Group – provides the benefit of an increased knowledge base and the utilization of the saying, “Many hands make light work.”

    Stuff

    Everyone’s favorite topic – getting STUFF. Securing your beans, bullets, and band-aids is a must. With a left-leaning Congress, White House, Justice Department, and ATF securing desired boomsticks and corresponding components need to be completed…..soon.

    Purchasing components “off the books” is recommended and never a bad option when possible.

     

    Communication

    Something to consider and I am working n this myself is communication. With the recently announced invasion of privacy that Apple will be scanning all cell phone photo’s looking for nefarious material – there is no telling to what extent this will go. While privacy has been absent for many years regardless of what platform is used, this new direct targeting is concerning to say the least.

    What. method of communication will be used within your survival group? What protections can be acquired to make communication as secure as possible?

    Summary

    Insanity. How many of us see the headlines, read about what others look at as “normal” and just shake our heads. If anyone would have suggested back on September 12th, 2001 that the country would be in the state it is today, most would have called you crazy.

    Unfortunately, it’s real.

    I truly believe we need to come together, network, and share ideas on how to best combat the insanity that the enemy portrays as “just” and “good” and “right.”

    This is the most important commentary I’ve ever written.

    It’s time for alarm bells. It’s time for me to play the part of Paul Revere: “The communist tyrants and dictators are coming! The communist tyrants and dictators are coming!” They’re coming first for unvaccinated Americans.

    This is 1938. I’m a Jew. I now understand just a little of what it felt like to be a Jew in 1938. No, it’s not the Holocaust. Nothing can be compared to the Holocaust. Ever.

    But 1938 was not the Holocaust. It was the pre-Holocaust. It was the time before the nightmare, when the foundation was being laid to destroy the freedom, free speech, businesses and lives of millions of Jews.

    Everything happening today to the American people … to the U.S. Constitution … to freedom … and particularly to unvaccinated Americans reminds me of 1938. This is only the beginning. It gets much worse from here.

    First, “the papers.” Vaccine mandates and vaccine passports are just like 1938, when the Gestapo demanded papers from every German.

    Republicans asked for “papers” from migrants who had broken into our country. Criminals. Democrats said, “No, that’s racism.” Republicans asked for “papers” once every two years for federal elections, to prove you have a right to vote. Democrats said, “No, that’s racism.”

    Now Democrats want American citizens, not illegal aliens, not criminals, but patriots born in this country, to produce papers 24/7. We’ll need papers to enter restaurants, bars, nightclubs, concerts, casinos, conventions and hotels and to board a train, plane or bus. We’ll need papers to enter a supermarket, or we’ll starve to death. All for the crime of being unvaccinated against … wait for it …

    The flu.

    All for the crime of being unwilling to inject an untested, rushed to production, experimental, “for emergency use only” shot into our bodies.

    What happened to the war cry of Democrats: “My body, my choice”? It only applies to murdering babies, but it doesn’t apply to dangerous experimental shots that we don’t want injected into our bodies.

    Weren’t Jews injected with experimental drugs by the depraved Nazi government? Wasn’t that a key part of the Nuremberg trials? That no government could ever again inject experimental shots into the bodies of unwilling citizens? Isn’t that a basic human right?

    By the way, this isn’t about vaccines. If you want the vaccine, take it. I’d never stop you. I’d never limit your freedom, your choice. This is about vaccine mandates — forcibly injecting Americans who don’t want it. That’s 1938.

    But there’s much more in common with 1938. Mask mandates. If you’re scared, wear them. I’m not scared. I don’t want to wear them. Mandates are about forcing individuals to lose their freedom, choice, individuality and human rights. That’s 1938.

    Lockdowns are a match with the Warsaw Ghetto. Jews were locked down. Jews couldn’t work. Jews couldn’t travel. Jewish businesses were labeled “nonessential.”

    If government can force us to close our businesses, to kill our jobs, to decide who is nonessential, then this is 1938.

    Stars on clothing. It’s coming. The vaccinated get into restaurants, bars, concerts, supermarkets, planes and trains. They keep their jobs. The rest of us are marked as “subhuman” for life. That’s the star. That’s 1938.

    Media and social media as the public-relations wing of the government. That’s called propaganda. Remind you of 1938? Back then, the Jews’ books were burned. Today, it’s those of conservatives, patriots and specifically the unvaccinated. We are silenced. Our facts are labeled “misleading.” Only the facts that agree with big government’s agenda count. That’s 1938.

    Door-to-door intimidation and making lists of those who disagree with “government knows best.” Trust me, that army of door-to-door vaccine brainwashers will soon be turned into a Gestapo of gun-grabbers. 1938 was the year Nazis banned Jews from owning guns. They took them door to door. That’s 1938.

    Only days ago, a former Department of Homeland Security official said the unvaccinated should be on the federal no-fly list. That’s exactly how Nazis attacked the Jews and others who disagreed with their agenda. It was always lists. Lists of people to be disappeared in the middle of the night; lists of those to be sent to reeducation camps; lists of those to be sent to concentration camps; lists of enemies of the state. It’s happening again. Maybe this time you’ll only lose your job or free speech. This is, again, 1938.

    It’s all disgusting and disgraceful. But I’m warning you, this is just the start. It’s all going downhill from here — fast. This is the end of America. This is 1938.

    Unless we stop it now. Unless we take a stand now. Unless we draw a line in the sand now.

    Early on as a young teen survivalist, I dreamt of numerous guns I wanted to have as part of my survival battery. Looking through the magazines I’d drool over the AR-15A2’s, Remington 870 shotguns, HK91’s and HK94’s, Ruger 10/22’s, and 1911’s. I would make list after list of what I would need to survive. Inevitably firearm accessories would be included and more often than not Choate, Machine, and Tool products were recorded.     I’ve watched the movie at least 6-7 times. Pretty good. Brad Pitt did a decent job and enjoyed the storyline. Fast zombies….so much more of a threat than the slow Walking Dead versions. While the movie was pretty good it really left me wanting more.

    I’ve finally gotten around to reading the book. So far it’s fantastic. I didn’t realize the structure of the book and how it was written. Basically, it’s a series of after-action reports. With these reports coming from all over the world starting from the very beginning of the war all the war to the end you get a really good picture.

    I’ve been listening to the audio version of the book. There is a multitude of actors who are playing the different characters. These include Alan Alda, Bruce Boxleitner, Max Brooks(the author), Masi Oka(from the TV series – Heroes), Rob Reiner, Martin Scorsese, Paul Sorvino, and many more. They do a great job.

    “DrJBernDrApt” has been a follower of mine since back in the early days of my previous website. We sometimes emailed back and forth mostly about spiritual things, and I valued his word so much. He recently lost his battle with cancer and has joined Jesus in the battle against evil and boy do they have a warrior on their side now.

    One thing we all need to remember is when we spend so much time in preparation for something we “think” is going to happen we need to really prioritize time with friends and family – those we love. That is truly what matters.

    We’ve had some fun designing and building this survival kit together. Here is Part 12 in the series where each week we have voted on a new item(s) to add to the kit and see the results from the previous week. Well – the kit is now complete.

    Back when I first got involved in preparedness there were lots of discussions about “survival kits.” Nowadays, there are INCH bags, Bug Out bags, Get Home bags, and many more. I may be a bit old school but I’m going back to my roots and survival kit it is.

    Here’s the bag we started with: The Paratus 3-Day Operator’s Pack. The Paratus is a popular pack and often considered the “Prepper’s Backpack” as it is high quality, rugged, extremely versatile, and budget-friendly. Cost is phenomenal at well under $100.

    There’s no survival kit that will fit the bill for everyone. There are far too many factors that cannot be considered to make one kit for everyone. Over the past few months, we’ve selected a variety of items covering shelter, food, cooking, defense, etc. I’ve rounded out the kit with a few more commonsense items.     With every day passing by bringing us closer to the next major solar flare event and satellites passing over us every day that may contain EMP-capable nuclear weapons – preparing for EMP has been a major topic for the last decade or so.

    Let’s Build a Survival Kit(Part 11) – More Food!

    We’re going to have some fun designing and building this survival kit together and we are well on our way. Here is Part 11 in the series where each week we will vote on a new item(s) to add to the kit and see the results from the previous week. Well – sorta. This week we will discuss defense items, but, no voting. Be patient – you’ll see below.

    Back when I first got involved in preparedness there were lots of discussions about “survival kits.” Nowadays, there are INCH bags, Bug Out bags, Get Home bags, and many more. I may be a bit old school but I’m going back to my roots and survival kit it is.

    Here’s the bag we started with: The Paratus 3-Day Operator’s Pack. The Paratus is a popular pack and often considered the “Prepper’s Backpack” as it is high quality, rugged, extremely versatile, and budget-friendly. Cost is phenomenal at well under $100.

    Here’s what we’re going to do. Every week(or so) I’ll post a category of products along with several choices to choose from. Everyone will vote on which items to put in the bag. When the voting is over I’ll buy the selected item and add it to the bag. With each new week, I’ll update what we’ve put in the bag until the kit is completed.

    LAST INSTALLMENT: We discussed defensive tools related to a survival kit and situations where a survival kit might be needed.

    THIS WEEK: We’ve got the bag, a water filter, a knife, a bit of food, some first aid supplies, a flashlight, a cookstove, an ax, cook set, and a tent, various supplies, the 3V water bladder, and a method to defend ourselves – – Let’s discuss food once again.

    FOOD

    Without food, we simply do not have the energy to perform much-needed tasks even in normal modern times let alone when the feces hit the oscillating blades. While we cannot accurately predict how exactly this survival kit might come into play – I can make some assumptions that caloric expenditures will be much higher than normal.

    Food.

    We’ve already added some emergency food bars and freeze-dried food to the kit. It’s not enough. What’s next?

    More. To me, freeze-dried food is ideal for a survival kit due to its low weight and easy preparation. There are some other shorter shelf-life foods that also work well.
