So Arlene asked me what my prediction is regarding Putin and nuclear war. I’ll start by saying that most every prediction I’ve made over the past few decades has been wrong. Oh – I’m glad about that by the way. Predicting the future and what will happen is incredibly difficult as there are so many variables to track and each of those variables influences the outcome of whatever situation we are looking at. So – here I go: Will we have a nuclear war with Russia?
No.
Hopefully, my track record improves a bit with this accurate prediction of what will occur in the future.
No – I do not see Putin launching nuclear weapons at the United States. Mutually assured destruction is a powerful thing and has worked since the Cold War. There are varying reports that what we are all seeing in the media is completely false. Reports of Ukraine holding their own and potentially winning in some cases appear to be completely false. I do not see any path to Ukraine holding off the Russian bear. It’s only a matter of time.
I’m not going to get into whose fault all this is happening. The reality is there simply is nothing that we – you and I can do about it. All we can do is live our lives and prepare accordingly.
It’s a very strange feeling hearing all this talk of nuclear war. I started my interest – my infatuation – with survival and preparedness as a teenager of the Cold War. I read everything I could get my hands on at 14 years old on nuclear war and nuclear war survival. It is so strange that after all these years it has come full circle and here I am again.
So – what now?
I am predicting we will NOT have a nuclear war. Remember my track record of predictions? I may very well be wrong. Maybe there will be a few tactical nukes launched in Europe. Maybe here in the States. Maybe Russia will set off a couple of EMPs.
So – what now?
Prepare.
I’ll be putting out some posts very soon regarding civil defense/nuclear war survival. SouthernPrepper1 on Youtube has made several videos on the subject. Check them out on Youtube. I’ll be posting them here as well. Good stuff.
Stay safe all –
Rourke
I agree. Mutual Assured Destruction is a great deterrent. Putin is an evil Man, but He is definitely not a stupid Man. One, He doesn’t need Nukes to take Ukraine, if in fact, that is His objective. The idiots screaming for a “no fly zone” over Ukraine are making Me a tad bit nervous, as that could escalate the situation and change the dynamics to a point where We would be drawn into a shooting War. Any direct action by any NATO Country would increase the odds that limited nukes or EMP’s would part of the scenario.
Thanks Rourke for answering my question about the possibility of nuclear war .By the way folks Walmart is selling and Potassium iodide capsules. Vitamatic Potassium Iodide 60 capsules free shipping $18.99
I believe it was by the grace of God that the Russian bomb hit
the nuclear plant at the far end.IF it had a direct hit we may have all been
saturated with radioactive fallout.
I believe most of the information is true because it has come from people’s cell phones-people in Ukraine .I agree there is probably an exaggeration of how well Ukraine is doing but those people are like our original patriots defending their precious homes. How fast and hard they have worked to establish physical barriers for tanks etc. is amazing
For anyone who can afford it a small donation to Samaritan’s purse or Catholic relief services or Doctors with out borders will help the immigrants in Ukrainian people directly and the immigrants in Poland.
For all of us who have prepped the best we can -our food and other items are invaluable .
I will be filling up our extra gas containers today as the price of gas here is $4.19 and will just keep rising until the people of the US demand that Biden come to his senses. I have not gone anywhere in the last 10 days due to the high price of gas.
Stay safe my valued prepping community! Arlene
An easy dish where ingredients can be stored for a very long time
Tuna casserole
Cook any kind of pasta ( macaroni noodles- shells wheels ) add a can of tuna with a can of soup ( cream of chicken, mushroom, celery)and some peas if you like- mix it up-bake about 40 min on low 275 or 30 min on 300
just before pulling from the oven sprinkle some dried onion rings or some chips on top. Filling and delicious . Enjoy.Arlene
Two things can make people make mistakes they regret .. Ideology and Ego.
To have one would be a mistake and is unlikely.
Logic says if you destroy everything there is nothing to rule or benefit from.. or M.A.D.

The ONLY concern I have is that OUR or another administration will act without due consideration and all the facts. Or that they will miscalculate and act with the intent to use the events to thier own ends for political purposes and fail to understand the law of unintended consequences.
