It begins…….
The Biden Administration will officially take office this afternoon. While many hung on with unabated hope that somehow Trump would remain for an additional 4 years and the positive effects of his policies on the economy would remain – a slap of reality is about to be delivered. With that said, what can we expect and how will it affect us?
First off, my ability to predict the future ranks right up there with my ability to sing opera. Ever heard two cats fight? You get the picture. Regardless, I’ll give it a shot or twelve.
Biden’s First Two Years:
It has been widely publicized that the first couple of weeks will have Biden signing many Executive Actions undoing those that Trump put into place. Additional EA’s which support the Biden-Harris administrations’ agenda will also be signed. Many of the plans put forth by Biden will require Congress to act.
- Rescind Trump’s travel ban to “Muslim countries”
- Expand and extend bans on evictions due to COVID
- Expand and extend student loan relief due to COVID
- Join the Paris Climate Change Accord
- Issue a mask mandate for all Federal properties and during interstate travel
- Send Congress a path to citizenship for all illegal immigrants
- Upwards of $3 trillion dollar COVID relief package to be passed
- Raising of the Federal Minimum Wage to $15/hr
- Gun control
- Raise taxes
There is a lot of theories on what will happen and what effect actions will have on the country and our lives. There are those who will say this is just another change in the leadership of the country – it will pass and be no different than before. I disagree. If we have learned anything over the last 4 years it’s there is truly a movement by the Left in this country for a complete overhaul of America. Whether it be revisionist history or the complete destruction of what this country was founded – change, radical change – is coming.
One item not on the list of Biden’s priorities is censorship. While not specifically carried out by Biden there is little doubt that a major part of the Left’s agenda is silencing the opposition. The deplatforming of individuals, organizations, and companies who represent and believe in Conservatism will continue. There are organizations right now pressuring cable companies to remove OAN and FoxNews from their line up. The “cancel culture” will continue and the Biden Administration will do nothing to stop it.
NOTE: How far will the efforts to censor those who believe in freedom, firearms, and patriotism? No one knows the answer. With this in mind, we must all put things in place to be able to remain connected, network, and communicate. Websites such as this could be taken down if the hosting provider decides they do not like the content. Plans for this are being made.
The breaching of the Capitol on January 6th was a turning point for the Left. This event has provided them optics, rhetoric, and evidence to point to the Right and call them terrorists. This will continue and will be used to push gun control and further targeting of those who are “MAGA, Trump-supporting, Constitution-loving Patriots” who are inherently dangerous and radical. Oh – especially if they are white.
Next Two Years and Beyond:
The full-effect of COVID on the economy has not been fully realized. Censorship will continue. The Supreme Court will be seriously looked at to have additional judges added. Gun control measures will be implemented with aspects of the 94′ Assualt Weapons Ban being the minimum. Efforts will be made to make Washington, DC and PR states. The National Debt will hit $30 trillion within the next few months and continue upwards.
Civil unrest will spread. Groups aligned with BLM and Antifa will not be satisfied. There are other groups that will mobilize and add to the carnage when the right opportunities present.
With the possible addition of two new states and upwards of 30 million illegal immigrants made citizens – the political fabric of the country will be completely torn apart and the likelihood of any Congress and the Presidency ever leaning Right again does not look good.
What are your thoughts? What do you see happening?

FUBAR: Government Passes COVID Relief and Spending Bill
The House of Representatives split the coronavirus relief and government funding legislation passed Monday into two separate votes — allowing members to vote against the part that included military and Homeland Security funding. The entire spending bill passed to the amount of approx $2.3 trillion dollars.
With all this money being spent and added to the national debt – most citizens are reportedly going to receive a stimulus check for $600. If you take the $900 billion, which is targeted towards COVID relief, and divide it by 330 million people in this country – that’s roughly $2700 per person.
I did a little math. The United States gives Israel approx $3.8 billion dollars per year. That’s around $422 per Israeli citizen. The United States is giving every Israeli citizen $422!!!!!
The following is floating around the internet today. I haven’t fact-checked it and even if the numbers are skewed it’s not far off showing the pathetic efforts by our government to do their job.
Behind your little $600 check….
1. $300,000,000 for Migrant and Refugee Assistance pg.. 147
2. $10,000 per person for student loan bailout
3. $100,000,000 to NASA, because, who knows why.
4. $20,000,000,000 to the USPS, because why not
5. $300,000,000 to the Endowment for the Arts – because of it
6. $300,000,000 for the Endowment for the Humanities/ because no one even knew that was a thing
7. $15,000,000 for Veterans Employment Training / for when the GI Bill isn’t enough
8. $435,000,000 for mental health support
9. $30,000,000,000 for the Department of Education stabilization fund/ because that will keep people employed (all those zeros can be confusing, that’s $30 BILLION)
10. $200,000,000 to Safe Schools Emergency Response to Violence Program
11. $300,000,000 to Public Broadcasting / NPR has to be bought by the Democrats
12. $500,000,000 to Museums and Libraries / Who knows how we are going to use it
13. $720,000,000 to Social Security Admin / but get this only 200,000,000 is to help people. The rest is for admin costs
14. $25,000,000 for Cleaning supplies for the Capitol Building / I kid you not it’s on page 136
15. $7,500,000 to the Smithsonian for additional salaries
16. $35,000,000 to the JFK Center for Performing Arts
17. $25,000,000 for additional salary for House of Representatives
18. $3,000,000,000 upgrade to the IT department at the VA
19. $315,000,000 for State Department Diplomatic Programs
20. $95,000,000 for the Agency of International Development
21. $300,000,000 for International Disaster Assistance
22. $90,000,000 for the Peace Corp pg. 148
23. $13,000,000 to Howard University pg. 121
24. $9,000,000 Misc. Senate Expenses pg. 134
25. $100,000,000 to Essential Air carriers pg. 162. This of note because the Airlines are going to need billions in loans to keep them afloat ($100,000,000 is chump change.)
26. $40,000,000,000 goes to the Take Responsibility to Workers and Families Act. This sounds like it’s direct payments for workers pg. 164
27. $1,000,000,000 Airlines Recycle and Save Program pg. 163
28. $25,000,000 to the FAA for administrative costs pg. 165
29. $492,000,000 to National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak) pg. 167
30. $526,000,000 Grants to Amtrak to remain available if needed through 2021 pg. 168 (what are the odds that doesn’t go unused) Hidden on page 174 the Secretary has 7 days to allocate the funds & notify Congress
31. $25,000,000,000 for Transit Infrastructure pg. 169
32. $3,000,000 Maritime Administration pg. 172
33. $5,000,000 Salaries and Expensive Office of the Inspector General pg. 172
34. $2,500,000 Public and Indian Housing pg. 175
35. $5,000,000 Community Planning and Development pg. 175
36. $2,500,000 Office of HousingAre you angry yet? Enjoy the pocket change while everything else gets bailed out.
Participation at the ballot box continues to be largely a waste of time.

Election Update: We Are Witnessing a Coup
As of this morning, Biden has taken the lead in both Georgia and Pennsylvania. Counties being counted are reporting upwards of 87% of votes going to Biden. Nationwide voting has Biden with over 73 million votes to Trumps’ 69 million. Consider that Clinton received over 65 million votes in 2016 and Obama received just over 69 million. Seriously? Joe Biden received more votes than Obama in 2008? Joe Biden – who is an establishment, non-motivating candidate with little campaigning and whose followers had very little enthusiasm somehow accumulated 8 million more votes than favorite Hillary Clinton and 4 million more than the Left’s savior Barrack Obama?
No. I don’t think so.
While there is tremendous evidence and suggestions of voter fraud, proving it will be extremely difficult. Trump has a daunting task ahead of him and it’s unlikely enough fraud will be proven to overturn these leads in multiple states that Biden has secured.
“A republic can’t function with a dumbed-down, easily manipulated population and a corrupt media. If people begin to use violence to fix this country they will be crushed. Once Biden gets in the Left is going to start doing some really ugly things, and the purging of conservatism from social media is going to get worse.”
~John Gault, November 5th, 2020
It’s been said many times that Trump’s election in 2016 bought us time. Between the growing national debt, ever-increasing division in America, the global threat of EMP, and the decline of the church in people’s lives – a great reckoning for this country is just a matter of time. When? Who the hell knows? What I do know is between NOW and THEN I will live my life and continue to do what I can to insulate myself from the effects of government and society and become as independent, self-reliant, and self-sufficient as possible.
Positive news? Sure – I’ve got some:
- Republicans held the Senate
- Republicans have picked up seats in the House
- There is still a chance for Trump to win
- If you are reading this you’re still above the ground
- Here’s a picture of my grandson…..
Stay safe my friends.

STATUS REPORT: Election Less Than Two Weeks Away, 2021 Within Sight
Every week we provide insight on events as they develop and transpire across America. In these unprecedented times, it’s difficult to grasp the complexity of everything that’s going on. We are not a news agency and make no claims to be experts on the topics discussed. What is absolutely certain is we are investing time to research information with a quest for truth using facts, logic, and some common sense thrown in.

COVID-19
The spreading of COVID-19 continues with the number of cases and deaths worldwide increasing daily.
Here are the numbers as of October 23rd, 2020:
Global Confirmed Cases: 41,798,042
Global Deaths: 1,138,696
Global Recoveries: 28,392,918
US Confirmed Cases: 8,411,262
US Deaths: 223,059
US Recoveries: 3,353,056
US Active Cases: 4,835,147
Commentary: Looking at the number of COVID deaths on a daily basis the trend has turned upward slightly since the beginning of October. The trend had been consistently lowering week after week since the end of August.
ECONOMY
The Coronavirus pandemic continues to be directly affecting the economy. Many businesses across the nation have closed….and many are still closed. Reopening is happening at different levels and even seen some movie theaters are starting to reopen. Businesses of all sizes including manufacturing plants down to small mom & pop shops feel the effect. Some industries have seen a spike in business, while others have been decimated. Limits on the number of people allowed in businesses continue to be widespread, and mandated masks are common. Government-mandated practice varies depending on the state and area. Florida has ended all restrictions while other states are still locked down.
Commentary: The economy continues to rebound even with continued struggles in numerous markets. The country wants to be back to normal. Trillions of dollars from the Federal government has been injected into the economy and no doubt has had a positive effect.
POLITICS
Much of the divide that is present in the nation is directly correlated to the divisive political environment currently in existence. Beyond healthy debate or even normal agenda-driven bias, the level of aggressive and purposely damaging action taken by Progressive politicians and groups is at an all-time high.
- A huge story was published by the New York Post regarding Joe Biden’s son – Hunter Biden. It appears that there is significant evidence that Joe Biden was – at a minimum – caught lying regarding his knowledge of Hunter’s business in Ukraine and China. It appears Hunter was paid to try to influence and gain access to his father representing a private business. Illegal? Likely not but certainly corrupt.
- Nancy Pelosi continues to NOT work with the White House nor Congress on a new COVID relief package.
- The 2nd debate between Trump and Biden occurred this past Thursday night. The consensus is President Trump had an excellent debate and Biden struggled. One major story out of the debate is Biden stating his plan to is eliminate the oil industry. States who have major oil reserves as well as coal should take note.
Commentary: As usual, Democrats and Republicans remain on opposite ends of the opinion spectrum to best serve this country….and pretty much everything else. The hypocrisy of the Left continues to be seen everywhere.
The admission from Biden that he plans to eliminate the oil industry is major. His son’s involvement with China, Ukraine, and released pictures and video of him supposedly with an underaged female could make a difference in this election. The FBI is getting ready to interview a former associate of Hunter Biden related to foreign influence on Joe Biden.
Social media continues to censor free speech primarily from Conservatives. My own Facebook account was deleted – no warnings, no explanation.
Everyone is wanting 2020 over in hopes that 2021 will be better. We can all have hope. If the trend from the last few years continues……

COVID-19
The spreading of COVID-19 continues with the number of cases and deaths worldwide increasing daily.
Here are the numbers as of October 9th, 2020:
Global Confirmed Cases: 36,577,872
Global Deaths: 1,062,677
Global Recoveries: 25,486,188
US Confirmed Cases: 7,609,505
US Deaths: 212,840
US Recoveries: 3,021,252
US Active Cases: 4,375,413
Commentary: Since the week of August 1st, 2020 – the number of COVID-related deaths has decreased each and every week in the United States.
The media and many in politics continue to use COVID as a means to further an agenda. I have yet to hear any mainstream media outlet portray accurate facts regarding the consistent decrease in weekly deaths. No – they would rather broadcast certain states or areas where increases have occurred which sends a message things are not improving.
Look at the statistics. The vast majority of all deaths fall within a very limited age range and with those that are already very ill. These people can and should be protected, however, the rest of the country should not continue to be constrained which is causing continued damage to the populace in numerous ways which we will feel for years to come.
ECONOMY
The Coronavirus pandemic continues to be directed affecting the economy. Businesses across the nation have closed….and many are still closed. Reopening is happening at different levels and even seen some movie theaters are starting to reopen. Businesses of all sizes are included as manufacturing plants down to small mom & pop shops feel the effect. Some industries have seen a spike in business, while others have been decimated. With the rise of cases, limits on the number of people allowed in the business, and mandated masks – many businesses are just trying to stay afloat.
- Regal has announced the closings of all movie theaters. They are the second-largest movie theater chain in the United States.
- The unemployment rate dropped to 7.9% for September.
- Food prices are continuing to inch upwards as inflation takes hold.
- The stock market continues to do well since the aftermath of deep drops due to COVID.
- Fuel prices remain low as oil supply is high and demand is steady on the low side.
- With an already record deficit in 2020, Trump and Congress continue to discuss the possibility of adding trillions more to the National Debt with a COVID relief package.
Commentary: The economy continues to rebound even with continued struggles in numerous markets. The country wants to be back to normal.
My hope is that Congress will NOT provide another dose of stimulus for people. It’s a political ploy to buy votes.
POLITICS
Much of the divide that is present in the nation is directly correlated to the divisive political environment currently in existence. Beyond healthy debate or even normal agenda-driven bias, the level of aggressive and purposely damaging action taken by Progressive politicians and groups is at an all-time high.
- Just days after President Trump was “reported” to refuse to devow white supremacy during his debate with Biden, a white supremacist militia group has been arrested for plotting to kidnap the governor of Michigan.
- Nancy Pelosi is promoting the 25th Amendment as a means to replace the President.
Commentary: As usual, Democrats and Republicans remain on opposite ends of the opinion spectrum to best serve this country….and pretty much everything else. The hypocrisy of the Left continues to be seen everywhere. Pelosi doing what she says others cannot is just the latest example.
With Pelosi looking into the 25th Amendment it is apparent that she continues to explore any ad all means to remove Trump from office – especially if he wins in November.
After Trump was released from the hospital he made a few comments regarding COVID. In typical Trump fashion, he put a positive spin on the negative – leading the nation forward. The Left and MSM completely lost their mind.

Vice Presidential Debate
I’m in the middle of watching the debate. I feel sick to my stomach. I’m a very open-minded guy. I look to see things from multiple sides and make decisions based on logic, facts, and commonsense. As I sit and listen to the complete BS coming out of Harris it’s disgusting. She is literally lying with every word and stating propaganda as fact.
I’m pretty tired of politics. I can see a future – possibly within a few years – where it’s truly a waste of time to participate at all. Depending on the outcome in November that time may be extremely near. Voter fraud, agenda-driven media, agenda-driven professional sports, and Hollywood, and a corporate America bowing down to special interests.
Pence did very well. He is polished, respectful – and stated answers based on real-world facts than propaganda. Am I biased? Absolutely. I’m biased towards facts, logic, and commonsense. Fantasy and emotion don’t factor in well to running a country.
I’ll keep this short. While I believe in years past it mattered little who was elected President. Both sides were politically corrupt entities putting their special interests at the top of their TO DO list rather than the American people. This year? No – it matters.
If you watched it what was your opinion?
Take care all.

![[PART 2]Preparing for the Fallout of November 3rd: SCENARIO’S](https://1776patriotusa.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/2020-election-220x162.jpg)
[PART 2]Preparing for the Fallout of November 3rd: SCENARIO’S
2020 continues to travel through time like a freight train carrying zombie smurfs being attacked by vampire Antifa dweebs. No one could have predicted the series of events that have transpired and trying to predict what else will occur is almost an impossibility. In Part 1 we reviewed the current situation and how we arrived here. Here in Part 2, we will consider the most likely scenarios to play out after November 3rd – and what possible actions we should take as a result.
Potential Scenario’s Surrounding November 3rd:
- Trump Wins, Biden Refuses to Accept Results – courts
- Biden Wins, Trump Refuses to Accept Results – courts
- Trump Wins
- Biden Wins
Let’s get straight to it: One of the main concerns with the upcoming election is the possibility of protests leading to rioting and violence. The same violence we have seen in many cities across the nation this year could ramp up depending on the results – or lack thereof – from November 3rd.
Evidence suggests that we will not know who wins the election for possibility weeks afterward. The media will report on exit polls with theories on who the likely winner will be. “Experts” will provide their opinion as to what they believe will happen. It’s also highly likely theories surrounding vote tampering will be presented. While evidence will be presented the mainstream media and pundits will discount the severity of the fraud.
Court cases will be filed on both sides.
If there is a delay in knowing the outcomes, what might happen?
It is highly likely that protests – mostly peaceful – will occur. These protests will be organized and attended mostly by Biden supporters. If evidence begins mounting that Trump will likely be named the winner the protests may intensify, and even become violent. Blocking highways and public roads crying out for justice and the need to get the “orange man” out of the White House will be the theme. Trump Derangement Syndrome will be in full swing.
If Biden looks to be named the winner – as much as I hate to say it – history shows not a lot will happen. Hey – I could be wrong. Other than outrage on social media by Trump supporters there is not likely to be an uprising. If there is true evidence of massive voter fraud that could change things dramatically.
What should you do now?
First off – VOTE!
Second – if you live in or very near a big city you should be concerned about possible protesting and riots. Much like what has been happening as a result of plea’s for social justice and anti-police BS, be prepared for up to and including looting and violence.
It may not be a bad idea to take a couple of days off after the election, especially if you are in a high-risk area. Topping off your vehicles to minimize stops if travel to and from work requires going through population-dense areas. Researching alternate routes are recommended as well.
Third – and likely the most relevant(but not necessarily possible) – is that Biden actually wins. The threat on our 2nd amendment rights is no secret as both Biden and Harris have flatly stated they plan to ban “assault weapons” and high-capacity magazines.
Directly from JoeBiden.com:
- Hold gun manufacturers accountable for how their guns are used.
- Bans on assault weapons and high capacity magazines.
- Ban the importation of certain assault weapons via Executive Action.
- National gun registry.
- National gun and magazine buyback program.
- Limits on the number of firearms that can be purchased by citizens.
- Universal background checks on ALL gun sales including private.
- NO online sales of firearms, ammunition, accessories, or parts.
- Pushing for States to require gun licenses in order to buy any firearm.
- Require that manufacturers produce guns that are “smart” and can only be operated by the owner.
Insanity.
There will be outrage no matter who wins the election, and how it is won. If election fraud is obvious and evidence is at hand – that could be a game-changer to the future of our country. That may be the straw that breaks the camels back. That may be what causes freedom-loving Patriots to rise up.
If you are in a position where you need firearms or magazines – now is the time to try to stock up. In these volatile times, prices are elevated and supplies are short. A tough situation.
Hope.
Hey – there is reason to have hope. I truly believe that Trump should win in a landslide. Look – there have been Trump boat parades with THOUSANDS of boats in them. There have been Trump car parades with thousands of cars lined up in support of the President. Tens of thousands show up to Trump’s rallies. I believe the only way he will lose is by voter fraud. If that happens – all bets are off.

The spreading of COVID-19 continues with the number of cases and deaths worldwide increasing daily.
Here are the numbers as of October 1st, 2020:
Global Confirmed Cases: 34,345,342
Global Deaths: 1,023,817
Global Recoveries: 23,890,360
US Confirmed Cases: 7,279,109
US Deaths: 207,816
US Recoveries: 2,860,650
US Active Cases: 4,210,643
Commentary: The 7 day moving average of new cases has been steadily falling since July. I’m not sure this is publicized much and is important as testing has increased over this time. On July 24th the 7-day moving average was over 74,000 new cases. At the end of September, the 7-day moving average was a little over 41,000 daily new cases. This is positive news.
Reported average daily deaths have been on a decline since August 1st. This is more good news.
While many areas have opened their economies closer to what used to be normal, many policies continue such as social distancing and wearing masks. Some areas have spikes in cases as well as deaths, and others the opposite.

TRUMP TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19
The unpredictability of these times is maddening. It’s like trying to find Waldo while on a roller coaster doing multiple loops at 90mph. It’s an effort in futility. I suspect this will continue for months and it will be months before we realize the true effect all of this will have on our daily lives – and our future.

Preparing for the Fallout of November 3rd(PART #1)
For over 30 years I’ve been involved in survival and preparedness. Over all of this time, the world has ended at least a half-dozen times, or at least it was predicted to. The truth is people – including myself – are horrible at predicting the future as there are just far too many variables to consider to possibly be accurate. Myself? Yup. Guilty as charged. I’m going to give it another shot.
The country exited 2019 divided in many ways. While the election of Barrack Obama generated tremendous resentment and erected a wall between people – it was nothing compared to the election of Donald Trump. Trump Derangement Syndrome swept over the United States infecting citizens – especially at colleges and universities and large cities. The mainstream media pushed an agenda to spread this dreaded disease to as many possible. Many in Holywood became infected and used their influence to disseminate Trump Derangement Syndrome to as many people as possible.
There were millions who were immune. They had the ability to resist – to move on past the disease. These people all had something in common.
Sanity.
ENTER: 2020
So now we have “the most important election of our lifetime” on Tuesday, November 3rd. Is this next event going to come and go without any apocalyptic predictions coming true? Well, I suspect not. These times are unlike any other and the stage has been set, the fuse lit. No matter the outcome we are likely to see truly tumultuous events.
This begins an important series directly related to the upcoming Presential election. Please stay tuned.
How Did We Get Here?
Over the last several months America has experienced an unprecedented level of civil unrest in major cities across the nation. Much of this started with the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 25th. This unfortunate event caused mass protests across the nation against police brutality and calling for the defunding of police departments. Protests soon turned into riots causing millions of dollars in damage to private businesses and city property. The Black Lives Matter(BLM) movement became energized gaining mass support from many across America.
Numerous other publicized police interactions leading to the death of Black suspects fueled the fire and rioting continued. Some cities actually voted to defund – or reduce the funding of police departments. The Antifa organization joined in with the protests often being the instigator to starting violence and destruction. Buildings were set on fire, Molotov cocktails thrown, and people attacked and beaten. Statues across the nation were destroyed as rioters claimed they were racists symbols. In many of these Democrat-run cities, the Mayors ordered the police to stand down and allow rioters to destroy and conduct violent outbursts.
The Trump administration requested that the governors of the states where the violence was occurring to take action. In some cases, the National Guard was sent in and violence was squashed. In others – the rioting was largely allowed to occur. In many cases, Liberal politicians promoted the “understanding” of those rioting and suggested we need to “understand” them and allow them to vent and relieve stress.
In Seattle, Washington on June 8th a group of anarchist rioters took over several blocks and called the area CHAZ(Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone). This “autonomous” zone was created after a week’s worth of conflict between rioters, protestors, and police. This included a situation where a car drove in a crowd of protestors and as they worked to pull the driver out of the car he shot one of the rioters. After police continued to use tear gas and pepper spray against rioters – the mayor ordered the police to NOT use tear gas. The rioters then ramped up their violence and drove police from the area. Those occupying the area were aligned with the BLM movement and Antifa. While those who organized the area predicted an existence of peace and tranquility due to the absence of government and police – quite the opposite occurred. Many injuries, rapes, and several deaths occurred within the autonomous zone. On July 1st after another death, the Mayor finally ordered the police to clear the area.
Over time the mainstream media continued to push the BLM agenda. They broadcasted video after video of the George Floyd event as well as others supposedly showing police mistreating blacks due to the color of their skin. They broadcasted interview after interview of friends and family of those ion the video talking about how wonderful a person they were -despite the evidence to the contrary. Hour after hour, channel after channel – the media continued to condition the populace to believe that systemic racism was rooted in this country and that merely being white was associated with guilt. They also connected President Trump with racism….time and time again as they have since his election. This continued despite evidence to the contrary since his election.
While areas such as Portland, Oregon had over 100 nights of protests and rioting – lesser known more isolated events occurred all over the country. In almost every case white people were targeted by black people – or other races in the guise of the BLM movement. Antifa also participated in the violence targeting those who stood in support of police and America. This targeting resulted in injury, destruction of property – and sometimes death. In Wilson, NC a black man walked out of his house and up to his 5-year-old white neighbor and shot him in the head. It’s reported he did this in support of BLM.
Blocking traffic, harassing anyone who seemed to be the opposition, and demanding those they confronted state loyalty to the BLM movement – or suffer the consequences.
An armed black militia in Georgia has made its existence known and stopped vehicles demanding reparations. They have continued to make incredible demands including their need for land which to establish their own country of only black people. They continue to threaten violence and make appearances fully armed.
As of this writing, white people are being targeted in major cities all over the country because of the color of there skin, or because they are Trump supporters. Crowds of BLM have entered businesses demanding people raise their fist in solidarity with BLM – or they are harassed – or worst. A large percentage of the US population is supporting BLM.
I could go on and on. No doubt you’ve seen and heard of the craziness.
While Liberal politicians have sided with the Marxist BLM group – many businesses and professional sports teams have as well. So far it appears that consumers are striking back and not supporting such a movement as ratings are well below normal.
Over the last several months gun sales have reached unheard of levels and ammunition is sold out almost everywhere. People are concerned about crimewaves – and civil war. Many of these sales are going to first-time gun owners. Many of these reside on the Left of the political spectrum.
Note: It is important to realize that the vast majority of these events are taking place in large cities run by Liberal mayors.
Current Situation
As of the third week of September and approx 6 weeks away from the election we are finding ourselves in unprecedented times. Over the past several months dealing with a deadly pandemic, along with some of the worst rioting and race relations this country has ever seen – the country remains deeply divided. Every conceivable issue is being politicized and friends and families are finding themselves on opposite ends of issues.
- Supreme Court: The death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg has created a tornado of activity. With President Trump getting ready to nominate another Supreme Court Justice the Left is going completely insane. Nancy Pelosi is threatening impeachment should Trump move forward with a nomination.
- COVID: There continue to be massive differences in opinion on how COVID should be handled both now – and in the past. Monday Morning Quarterbacking is taking place by those on the Left as they dissect and pick apart every action of the Trump Administration’s handling of the pandemic.
- Voting: Due to the pandemic the Left is pushing vote-by-mail for the upcoming election. Regardless of the fact people can go walk into a liquor store or go to Walmart, they are suggesting it is simply too dangerous to go to a voting booth. Substantial evidence suggests that voting by mail will lead to a large delay in determining the results. Additional evidence shows that there is a chance for significant voter fraud.
- Conceding the Election: Hillary Clinton stated: “Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances, because I think this is going to drag out, and eventually I do believe he will win if we don’t give an inch, and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side is”. The Left is preparing to challenge the election should Trump win.
- Lies: Joe Biden recently came out and said that if President Trump had performed his job as he should have – not one single person would have died from COVID-19. Not one single person. The MSM and the Left is relentlessly spreading propaganda in an effort to convince voters to vote against Trump.
- 2nd Amendment: Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have made it no secret they will be going after the NRA and gun rights when they win the election. This is an admitted priority.
- Biden: Biden continues to show that due to his declining health condition he will never complete a 4-year term. This means a Harris Administration. Based on her consistent radical belief’s a fundamental change to the country is what’s in order.
- Violence: While protests and rioting have decreased in most areas, the smallest negative interaction between police and anyone black generates outrage.
Tension is high as well as the stakes. Everyone is on edge. Politicians in Washington are fighting amongst themselves and it is evident that everyone has an agenda. As each day passes the pressure mounts and the tension thickens. People are worried about what will happen as a result of the election and the uncertainty is maddening for many.
This is where we are. Propaganda is being broadcasted by all sides and it is a waiting game. We are unlikely to see a winner on November 3rd. What might happen? Stay tuned for Part #2 as we explore the possibilities.

STATUS REPORT: West On Fire, South Drenched, Winter Approaching
Every week we provide insight on events as they develop and transpire across America. In these unprecedented times, it’s difficult to grasp the complexity of everything that’s going on. COVID-19
The spreading of COVID-19 continues with the number of cases and deaths worldwide increasing daily.
Here are the numbers as of September 17th, 2020:
Global Confirmed Cases: 30,019,763
Global Deaths: 943,515
Global Recoveries: 20,416,103
US Confirmed Cases: 6,513,489
US Deaths: 197,589
US Recoveries: 2,540,334
US Active Cases: 3,775,566
Commentary: The 7 day moving average of new cases has been steadily falling since July. I’m not sure this is publicized much and is important as testing has increased over this time. On July 24th the 7-day moving average was over 74,000 new cases. On September 3rd the 7-day moving average was a little over 41,000 daily new cases. This is positive news.
Reported average daily deaths have been on a decline since August 1st. This is more good news.
While many areas have opened their economies closer to what used to be normal, many policies continue such as social distancing and wearing masks. Some areas have spikes in cases as well as deaths, and others the opposite.
[CHART]US Confirmed New Cases
Look at the statistics. The vast majority of all deaths fall within a very limited age range and with those that are already very ill. These people can and should be protected, however, the rest of the country should not continue to be constrained which is causing continued damage to the populace in numerous ways which we will feel for years to come.
PROTESTING/RIOTING/CIVIL UNREST
Riots continue in several areas of the country – especially in Portland, OR. Protests are ramping up after the police shooting of a black man in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
- Professional sports continue to bring politics and social justice into their games. Players – especially in the NBA – are often seen wearing BLM shirts and hats and making statements in support of BLM. Recently the Houston Texans stayed in the locker room during the national anthem.
- 2 LA County deputies ‘fighting for their lives’ after ambush shooting; Search for suspect underway. Protestors outside hospital chanted “We Hope They Die”
- A “trained Marxist” founder of Black Lives Matter has teamed up on a new venture with a pro-Chinese Communist Party organization. Alicia Garza is now behind the advocacy group Black Futures Lab, which is backed by the Chinese Progressive Association.
Commentary: Athletes have tremendous influence and they’re pushing a Marxist, often violent agenda will not have positive results. The number of citizens who believe that violence and destruction is a tool that will get them what they want is increasing. Those willing to use violence and destruction as a tool to further than agenda is increasing. This is not going away.
Evil exists. We see rioters chasing down mothers and daughters and little kids. We see cops being ambushed, shot, attacked. We see innocent people walking down the street and severely injured or killed for simply being connected to an ethnic group or political ideology. Evil exists and we are seeing but a small part of its true presence right now.
A good friend has told me over and over again for the past year: Rourke – when it truly comes all crashing down, the horrendous things that people will do to each other you simply cannot imagine. People truly do not comprehend how bad it will get.
I believe him.
With the rise of cases, limits on the number of people allowed in the business, and mandated masks – many business are just trying to stay afloat.
- Permanent business closures continue to rise.
- The unemployment rate dropped to 8.4% for August which was much better than expected.
- Food prices have rose 3.1% in 2020 compared to those same products in 2019.
- The stock market continues to do well since the aftermath of deep drops due to COVID.
Commentary: The economy continues to be held up by Federal spending, bubble gum, and duct tape. Reopening in areas continues to be a positive force in the economy, however, we are nowhere near the economic activity pre-COVID but there is hope. The economy and commerce in this country have been changed and the evolution continues. So many businesses have disappeared completely. Others have been damaged severely. Businesses have changed the way they conduct their activities due to COVID as well as political correctness.
My hope is that Congress will NOT provide incentives for people to remain out of work. Ingenuity will create solutions where problems lie and many businesses will regain their ability to succeed. Should the Trump administration continue for another 4 years, it is likely that further trade deals and deregulation will have a positive impact on the economy, thus helping a recovery.
POLITICS
Much of the divide that is present in the nation is directly correlated to the divisive political environment currently in existence. Beyond healthy debate or even normal agenda-driven bias, the level of aggressive and purposely damaging action taken by Progressive politicians and groups is at an all-time high.
- Amy Dorris alleges Trump forced his tongue down her throat and groped her at 1997 US Open
- The stalemate in Congress has continued and officials appear to be losing hope for a new coronavirus stimulus package before the November elections. In an interview Wednesday, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) claimed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi refused to pass a bill for $1.5 trillion in coronavirus relief. The proposal, which was rejected by the Democrat House Committee chairs on Tuesday, was made by the the Problem Solvers Caucus with bipartisan support.
- On Thursday, citizens of Michigan rallied in support of their Second Amendment rights in Lansing. Armed demonstrators gathered at the state capitol, where they demanded Governor Gretchen Whitmer and other Democrats stop infringing on their right to bear arms.
Commentary: Seriously – can the Left not come up with something more original? A woman comes out right before the election with accusations against Trump. Predictable. There will be more.
The most destructive wildfires in history have decimated the West – and the Left have politicized thos unfortunate event. Not surprising. Hurricane Sally has caused severe flooding and damage in areas. Fall is fast approaching with Winter right after that. You know what that means….flu season.
It’s going to be interesting.
The unpredictability of these times is maddening. It’s like trying to find Waldo while on a roller coaster doing multiple loops at 90mph. It’s an effort in futility. I suspect this will continue for months and it will be months before we realize the true effect all of this will have on our daily lives – and our future.

6% of COVID Deaths Only Had COVID: The announcement that the CDC provided analytics stating that 6% of deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause has created a wave of anger and outrage. Many are suggesting that the true death rate of COVID is much less due to this revelation. This is simply not true and this announcement should not be surprising. We have known for quite some time that COVID was particularly threatening to those that are older, and/or had secondary health concerns. What this data does show and should generate anger and frustration is the fact that the current practices of economic restrictions imposed in most areas due to the virus should be lifted. There is no reason people cannot go back to work, go back to school – and go out to eat. No restrictions. The CDC recommendations should be for THOSE AT RISK to self-quarantine, wear masks, and take steps to protect themselves.
Players are often seen wearing BLM shirts and hats. Some athletes are protesting by foregoing games and events.
- The National Guard made an appearance in Kenosha and the rioting has now largely stopped. This, of course, is after rioting went on for days causing millions of dollars in destruction and cost people their lives.
- A video has been released from this past March showing police restraining a black male, placing a bag over his head, and laughing. The man was running around the street naked and his brother called for help. The man told the police he had COVID and the police put a “spit bag” over his head. After the man tried to get up the police further restrained him and he stopped breathing. Rioting broke out in Rochester, NC.
- The Antifa protestor who shot and killed a Trump supporter was killed by law enforcement as they were attempting to make an arrest.
Commentary: Athletes have tremendous influence and they’re pushing a Marxist, often violent agenda will not have positive results. - Secret Service confirmed that “something” happened while Biden was Vice President, and agents are talking. They state that there were incidents of Biden grabbing women of all ages and even cupped a agents’ girlfriends breast while taking a picture. The agent shoved Biden and he was suspended. The report on the incident did exist, but was destroyed. The Secret Service confirmed the destruction of the document.
- Biden joked while talking to members of the community in Kenosha that if he didn’t stop talking someone would probably “shoot me.”
- Governor Cuomo of New York in response to Trump wanting to defund the State as they defund police and allow rioting – – > “He better have an army if he thinks he’s gonna walk down the street in New York. New Yorkers don’t want to have anything to do with him,” the Democrat said, all but threatening the commander-in-chief.
- Nancy Pelosi was caught in a hair salon that was shut down due to mandatory COVID policies.
Commentary: As usual, Democrats and Republicans remain on opposite ends of the opinion spectrum to best serve this country….and pretty much everything else. The hypocrisy of the Left continues to be seen everywhere. Pelosi doing what she says others cannot is just the latest example.

COVID-19
The spreading of COVID-19 continues with the number of cases and deaths worldwide increasing daily.
Here are the numbers as of August 27th, 2020:
Global Confirmed Cases: 24,266,622
Global Deaths: 827,527
Global Recoveries: 15,839,685
US Confirmed Cases: 5,838,695
US Deaths: 180,020
US Recoveries: 2,084,465
US Active Cases: 3,574,210
Commentary: The past 3 weeks is showing a slight trend downward for deaths attributed to COVID and a fairly significant drop in new cases.
One of the biggest things we can do right now from a preparedness perspective is to take care of ourselves. Exercise, lose weight, stop smoking, and improve immune systems. There are many thousands of people across America right now laying in a hospital bed who thought it wasn’t that big of a deal.
With the year nearing the end of summer let’s hope the “second wave” fails to transpire with Fall approaching.
PROTESTING/RIOTING/CIVIL UNREST
Riots continue in several areas of the country – especially in Portland, OR. Protests are ramping up after the police shooting of a black man in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
- The NBA boycotted several games in response to the Kenosha shooting.
- Kenosha has become a battlefield. Several people have been shot and killed with one incident recorded on video as a man with an AR-variant was chased and attacked. He shot several of his attackers.
- A total of 71 people were arrested during protests over Breonna Taylor’s death in Louisville, Ky.
- Rioters in Portland tried to set city hall on fire Tuesday during another chaotic night that resulted in the arrest of nearly two dozen people.
- A suspected gunman fatally shot himself Wednesday as Minneapolis police were moving in to arrest him for a slaying committed hours earlier, sparking looting in the downtown area. Area residents were blaming the police for the death with many believing police shot the man.
- The majority of professional sports are canceling games as a protest against the shooting in Kenosha.
Commentary: While overall protesting and violent civil unrest have decreased across much of the country there is no doubt the sheer violence and intensity has increased. BLM continues to ramp its rhetoric as well as Antifa. Most major businesses and sports are doing the “politically correct” thing and creating policies in support of BLM. Some businesses are even giving preferential support to minority-owned businesses in an effort to remain off the “targeted” list of BLM and the Left.
We are seeing that most any event perceived as race-based is generating an outburst of protests and rioting. Where this will all go especially with the increase in violence is unknown. I suspect it is not going to suddenly improve.
ECONOMY
The Coronavirus pandemic continues to be directed affecting the economy. Businesses across the nation have closed….and many are still closed. - It’s easier to understand gold’s record-breaking move up if you look at it from the other side of the equation. The dollar is now at its all-time low compared to gold. In simple terms, the dollar is losing value and dollar debasement is driving up the price of gold. This isn’t a narrative you don’t typically hear on the mainstream financial networks, but there seems to be a growing awareness that the dollar and the system based on it might be in trouble – even in the mainstream investment world.
- The National Debt is approaching 27 trillion dollars.
- Jobless Claims: The 1.006 million claims was a very modest improvement over last week’s 1.104 million but is the 22nd of the last 23 weeks where over 1 million Americans have filed.
- The stock market continues to hover unrealistically high and counter to economic indicators. This is a positive thing for 401k’s.
- Record GDP Plunge Revised Slightly Higher: US Economy Contracted 31.7% In Q2. The decrease in real GDP reflected decreases in consumer spending, exports, business investment, inventory investment, and housing investment that were partially offset by an increase in government spending. Imports, a subtraction in the calculation of GDP, decreased.
- Federal Reserve chairman Jerome Powell announced a new strategy of average inflation targeting. According to reports Thursday, the central bank formally agreed to the policy to allow inflation to “moderately” run higher than the two-percent target for an undetermined time.
Commentary: The economy continues to be held up by Federal spending, bubble gum, and duct tape. Reopening in areas continue to be a positive force in the economy, however, we are nowhere near the economic activity pre-COVID. - Former President Barack Obama on Wednesday praised the Milwaukee Bucks for “standing up for what they believe in” following the team’s decision to boycott their NBA playoff game in response to the police shooting of Jacob Blake in the team’s home state of Wisconsin.
- Latest Fox News poll has Biden winning should it happen now.
- Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden on Tuesday charged that President Trump is “rooting for more violence, not less” after two people were killed in Kenosha, Wis., amid turmoil following a law enforcement officer wounding 29-year-old Black man Jacob Blake.
Commentary: As usual, Democrats and Republicans remain on opposite ends of the opinion spectrum to best serve this country….and pretty much everything else.

[Patreon Post]Kamala Harris named President….err…VP Pick
Original post was published over at the John Rourke Patreon page……
Its finally been announced: Kamala Harris has been named as Biden’s Vice President pick.
This demonstrates the Left’s continued use of racism as a means by which to make decisions. While they spew a narrative that they are the party of equality and fairness – once again they demonstrate that they will prioritize poll numbers and appearances over real progress.
Why is the naming of Kamala Harris dangerous? She is one of the most radical of all the Democrat candidates to run in 2020. With Joe Biden’s age and obvious mental limitations, it’s highly likely that should the Democrat ticket make it to the White House – the VP will become President during the first term.
Enter: President Kamala Harris.
Based on the record and publicly stated beliefs of Harris we can expect an Administration that would attack the Constitution and much of what has defined the United States as the greatest country on the face of the plant.
She is anti-gun, pro-abortion(no limits), anti-capital punishment, anti-electoral college, pro-$15 minimum wage, anti-meat, pro-universal background checks, open borders, anti-military, pro-tax increase, and more.
It’s been said many times before: This could be the most important election of our lifetime. Unfortunately, I believe in 2020 it truly is.
While I see no way for the United States to reverse the degradation that has already been started decades ago – the election of Donald Trump can certainly slow it down.

COVID-19
The spreading of COVID-19 continues with the number of cases and deaths worldwide increasing daily.
Here are the numbers as of July 30th, 2020:
Global Confirmed Cases: 17,067,754
Global Deaths: 667,935
Global Recoveries: 9,995,227
US Confirmed Cases: 4,447,648
US Deaths: 151,077
US Recoveries: 1,389,425
US Active Cases: 2,907,146
- Deaths in the U.S. from coronavirus continues upward and the country leads the globe in the number of cases and fatalities.
- Florida: After seeing 10,000 new cases a day become the norm across the state in July, many of those on the frontlines are frustrated with the apparent inability of local, state, and federal governments to coordinate an adequate response. They are equally aghast with what appears to be the reluctance or refusal of many Floridians to honor safety precautions to stop the spread of coronavirus.
- Rep. Louie Gohmert — a Texas Republican who has been walking around the Capitol without a mask — has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to multiple sources.
- Douglas Marks, 29, was arrested Tuesday on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, use of a firearm to commit a felony and discharging a firearm in public. He fired a gun in a hotel due to people not social distancing.
- Herman Cain — the maverick American business czar and Republican presidential candidate who campaigned for a sweeping tax reform plan called 9-9-9 — died Thursday morning after a monthlong battle with the coronavirus. He was 74.
Commentary: COVID-19 continues to be a force to reckon with. Despite conspiracy theories on how the virus originated and early reports of inflated lethality rates – people are dying daily from the disease. Herman Cain’s death is significant as he is likely the highest-profile victim. COVID is dangerous to millions of Americans, and not so to millions more. We will continue to see the death’s climb and as a result, the impact to our personal freedom and economic viability will be impacted. In many cases, actions taken are purely for optics and publicity rather than true effectiveness.
PROTESTING/RIOTING/CIVIL UNREST
- New York: Protests appear to be diminishing, however, in some areas they remain violent and destructive. If the spike in shootings isn’t keeping NYPD commissioner Shea up at night, the protesters must be. A group of demonstrators shined lights and blared sirens at the top cop’s W. 73rd Street home at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to a video posted to social media.
- Portland: Federal and Oregon state officials have developed a plan to cooperate on securing the Portland federal courthouse from rioters, however differences regarding the deployment of federal law enforcement remain. Portland has seen nightly riots since the death of George Floyd. Rioters have consistently targeted the federal courthouse in Portland, attacking federal law enforcement with various weapons including Molotov cocktails, and in some cases blinding officers with lasers.
- Minneapolis: Police say a man captured on surveillance video breaking windows at an auto parts store is a Hell’s Angels member who was bent on stirring up social unrest.
- Another night of rioting and lawlessness exploded in more than half a dozen U.S. cities Saturday night — with the mayhem including damage to federal buildings, local police precincts, and a fatal shooting in Austin, Texas.
- A growing number of Washinton Elite believe that the rioting, ad much of the protests, would disappear if Trump would resign as President.
Commentary: While the overall numbers of protesting have decreased, there are still pockets of civil unrest and violence in many areas. Liberal cities are the primary areas of concentration where frequently lawlessness is being allowed to occur. It has been mentioned in previous installments the new normal will see protests and riots flare up with little provocation.
ECONOMY
The Coronavirus pandemic continues to be directed affecting the economy. Businesses across the nation have closed….and many are still closing. Businesses of all sizes are included as manufacturing plants down to small mom & pop shops feel the effect. With the rise of cases, limits on the number of people allowed in the business, and mandated masks increase ultimately businesses suffer.
- “While the USPS is able to fund its operating expenses without additional borrowing at this time, we are pleased to have reached an agreement on the material terms and conditions of a loan, should the need arise,” Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said in a statement. 10 billion dollars.
- The U.S. economy suffered its worst period ever in the second quarter, with GDP falling a historic 32.9%.
- The number of Americans who filed new claims for unemployment benefits last week totaled 1.434 million, the Labor Department reported Thursday, roughly in line with expectations, as the coronavirus pandemic continues to ravage the U.S. economy.
- Food insecurity for U.S. households last week reached its highest reported level since the Census Bureau started tracking the data in May, with almost 30 million Americans reporting that they’d not had enough to eat at some point in the seven days through July 21.
Commentary: The economy is in serious trouble. The amount of money that has been removed from the economy is massive – and much of it is permanent. The Fed has helped keep the economy going and will continue to do so. There is much talk of more stimulus going to the American people. While the Conservative, free-market person in me disagrees with the premise, I believe that is all that is keeping us from teetering over the edge. I am looking for a few years at most to prepare for the eventual crash into the abyss.
POLITICS/WORLD EVENTS
Much of the divide that is present in the nation is directly correlated to the divisive political environment currently in existence. Beyond healthy debate or even normal agenda-driven bias, the level of aggressive and purposely damaging action taken by Progressive politicians and groups is at an all-time high.
- China’s English language state-run Global Times, which often serves as an unofficial foreign policy arm of Beijing signaling the communist government’s intent and messages to the West, has issued a new article along with tweets saying the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) stands ready to ‘retaliate’ amid rumors the US could launch attacks on Chinese islands and reefs in the South China Sea.
- The Trump administration has reiterated its support for a short-term extension on federal unemployment benefits, as well as a moratorium on evictions. Unemployment benefits will lapse at the end of the month, while the federal moratorium on evictions expired on July 24.
- Gold and silver continue to climb upwards as it becomes obvious the economy is in serious, longterm trouble.
- Last week, the head of the U.S.’s newest military branch, the Space Force, cautioned publicly for the first time that Moscow had undertaken at least two concerning anti-satellite weapon tests in recent months, in a potential bid to develop on-orbit efficiency that could dangerously hinder the U.S.’s heavy dependency on space-based systems.
- President Donald Trump on Thursday suggested delaying the November election until ‘people can properly, securely and safely vote.’
- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi mandated the wearing of face masks in the U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday.
Commentary: Nothing surprising here. The political division continues to grow and the pathetic display by many in Congress to push agendas rather than effective solutions. One example is related to the COVID stimulus. Many people could be going back to work, however, they have been making more money sitting at home than working due to the $600 per week Federal stipend. It has now ended and one side wants to minimize the weekly amount while the other side wishes to maximize it – and continue to provide an incentive to NOT work.
Insanity. It will continue.
The unpredictability of these times is maddening. It’s like trying to find Waldo while on a roller coaster doing multiple loops at 90mph. It’s an effort in futility. I suspect this will continue for months and it will be months before we realize the true effect all of this will have on our daily lives – and our future.

STATUS REPORT: Division Remains As Election Draws Closer
Every week we provide insight on events as they develop and transpire across America. In these unprecedented times, it’s difficult to grasp the complexity of everything that’s going on. We are not a news agency and make no claims to be experts on the topics discussed. What is absolutely certain is we are investing time to research information with a quest for truth using facts, logic, and some common sense thrown in.

COVID-19
The spreading of COVID-19 continues with the number of cases and deaths worldwide increasing daily.
Here are the numbers as of July 23rd, 2020:
Global Confirmed Cases: 15,284,136
Global Deaths: 624,665
Global Recoveries: 8,709,300
US Confirmed Cases: 3,987,584
US Deaths: 143,446
US Recoveries: 1,210,849
US Active Cases: 2,633,289
- A public health employee predicted Florida’s coronavirus catastrophe — then she was fired: ‘This is everything I was trying to warn people about’
- A new coronavirus mutation has become the most dominant strain of the virus — and is causing outbreaks to spread more quickly across the world, an expert said.
- A report out of Florida shows many people who have never been tested for COVID-19 are receiving phone calls claiming they’ve tested positive.
- 60 percent of the 26,160 temporarily closed restaurants as of July are now permanently shut. Temporary closures are dropping, and permanent shutdowns are increasing.
- Mayor of Washington, DC Muriel Bowser (D) issued an executive order Wednesday requiring residents to wear masks outside of the home as the city battles rising coronavirus cases. Fines up to $1,000 are permitted should anyone outside of their home not wear a mask.
Commentary: Those of us who have said – “There’s got to be more to this than what we are seeing” just several weeks ago can now see it….if you look. Hospitals across the nation are filling. This is not fake. It is real. While COVID-19 maybe not much more than the flu for most – it is deadly for many.
One of the biggest things we can do right now from a preparedness perspective is to take care of ourselves. Exercise, lose weight, stop smoking, and improve immune systems. There are many thousands of people across America right now laying in a hospital bed who thought it wasn’t that big of a deal.
Those that never make it out of that hospital will tell you that it is. Don’t let social media develop your opinion on things.
PROTESTING/RIOTING/CIVIL UNREST
Protests appear to be diminishing, however, in some areas they remain violent and destructive.
- The city of Portland, OR continues to see violence and rioting almost nightly. Wednesday evening Federal law enforcement agents fired tear gas into a growing crowd outside the Justice Center to disperse the crowd. Mayor Ted Wheeler was in the crowd and later thanked everyone for coming out against the Trump occupation of the city.
- Seattle leaders state they do not want Federal law enforcement personnel in the city regardless of the violence that erupted on Sunday. Storefronts were smashed, court buildings and police stations were attacked as well.
- Downtown Raleigh, NC is struggling to recover from riots in the wake of George Floyd protests in late May. And some businesses that haven’t yet reopened may not come back at all. Many of these businesses are owned by African-Americans.
- Police in Pittsburgh, PA shared pictures of 5 people who are believed to have instigated a riot in late May. They are seen via video and camera footage throwing items at police.
-
Louisville, KY: Both the First and Second Amendments could be on full display in Louisville this weekend if and when an armed Black militia group comes to town. The group, known as the NFAC or the Not F***ing Around Coalition, says it won’t be demonstrating or marching, but lining up a formation of armed Black militia members. The group’s founder, Grandmaster Jay, has recorded several social media videos promoting the event. Of note is that there will be other militia’s with differing beliefs than the NFAC also present. This is a powderkeg just waiting to blow.
Commentary: While overall protesting and violent civil unrest have decreased things are not back to normal. BLM continues to ramp its rhetoric as well as Antifa. Most major businesses are doing the “politically correct” thing and creating policies in support of BLM. Some businesses are even giving preferential support to minority-owned businesses in an effort to remain off the “targeted” list of BLM and the Left.
I suspect that moving forward it will not take much to spark a sudden increase in protesting, and following that civil unrest. What will happen when federally funded unemployment compensation runs out? The new normal has those easily triggered taking to the streets and defying all sense of morality.
- Bullion has gained 22% this year and is within about $70 of an all-time high. And with five-year Treasuries now yielding -1.15% once the effects of inflation are stripped out, a seven-year low, there’s little reason to expect a slowdown in precious-metal buying as investors fret about the weakness of the economic recovery, prospects for further outbreaks of Covid-19 and the impact of central bank bond buying.
- ‘Now’s not the time to turn off the faucet when, you know, we should be using our strong balance sheet to borrow to stimulate the economy’ – California Democratic Rep. Scott Peters. The National Debt is approaching 27 trillion dollars.
- AT&T Inc., for the first time, disclosed how many customers stopped paying their phone bill because of economic hardships related to the virus-induced recession. The company said 338,000 regular mobile-phone subscribers stopped paying in the second quarter; an additional 159,000 broadband customers and 91,000 TV subscribers stopped paying as well.
- The stock market continues to hover unrealistically high and counter to economic indicators. This is a positive thing for 401k’s.
- Real estate picked up in June as many sellers and buyers re-entered the market. Low supply, higher demand, and low-interest rates have helped bolster a market that was depressed over the past few months. Of particular interest are land parcels located out in the country away from cities.
Commentary: The economy continues to be held up by Federal spending, bubble gum, and duct tape. The economy and commerce in this country have been changed and the evolution continues. So many industries have disappeared completely.
- In an interview with CNN on Tuesday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said the nation is suffering from the “Trump virus,” or the results of President Trump’s handling of the coronavirus.
- Voters in the crucial battleground states of Michigan, Pennsylvania and North Carolina will begin casting ballots in September, giving President Donald Trump and Joe Biden just weeks to make their cases to voters.
- Negotiations continue in Washington DC over the next coronavirus relief package, Republicans and Democrats have shifted their focus to the next round of direct stimulus payments.
Commentary: As usual, Democrats and Republicans remain on opposite ends of the opinion spectrum to best serve this country. Regarding the COVID relief package, Democrats want to provide incentives for people to remain out of work, while Republicans want the opposite. The blatant opposing perspectives for both the Right and the Left could not be more evident and obvious. Longtime Democrat-run cities have fared poorly during the economic crisis compared to the Conservative to Moderate-run cities. Over and over again throughout the world and through history it has been shown that individual freedoms and efforts trump socialism every time.
The unpredictability of these times is maddening. It’s like trying to find Waldo while on a roller coaster doing multiple loops at 90mph. It’s an effort in futility. I suspect this will continue for months and it will be months before we realize the true effect all of this will have on our daily lives – and our future.

COVID-19
The spreading of COVID-19 continues with the number of cases and deaths worldwide increasing daily.
Here are the numbers as of July 16th, 2020:
Global Confirmed Cases: 13,578,608
Global Deaths: 584,782
Global Recoveries: 7,596,551
US Confirmed Cases: 3,499,771
US Deaths: 137,420
US Recoveries: 1,367,648
US Active Cases: 1,994,703
- A 37-year-old Iraqi war veteran in Ohio dies of COVID after posting on social media that he doesn’t believe the hype. On July 1st he began to have symptoms. Three days later he was dead.
- Love Connection host Chuck Woolery Tweeted the following….“The most outrageous lies are the ones about Covid 19,” Woolery wrote. “Everyone is lying. The CDC, Media, Democrats, our Doctors, not all but most ,that we are told to trust. I think it’s all about the election and keeping the economy from coming back, which is about the election.”
- Cities across the country in areas showing an increase in positive COVID cases are suggesting a new wave of shutdowns. An Example: Houston leaders are calling for another lockdown as the number of active cases of the coronavirus in the county increased to more than 27,600 on Sunday. Houston’s Harris County — the most populous county in Texas — has been the hardest-hit in the Lone Star State.
- California Gov. Gavin Newsom ordered Monday all counties in the state to close indoor operations for a handful of businesses, including restaurants, bars, movie theaters and museums, as Covid-19 cases continue to climb.
- Schools across the nation are developing strategies to be able to open and handle children while reducing the spread of the virus. In Los Angles, the superintendent for the Los Angeles Unified School District announced Monday that students will not return to the classroom when the fall semester begins next month because of the surge in coronavirus cases across the area.
- Cities across the country are passing city ordinances requiring all citizens to wear masks when out in public. The repercussions of not doing so carry penalties from absolutely nothing – up to fines and jail time.
- Georgia Governor bans all cities from mandating masks to be worn.
Commentary: The “new normal” continues to evolve. Policies on social distancing, wearing masks, and limits on the number of people allowed in a particular space are criteria that are just getting started and will likely be strengthened and required for years to come. The new normal will fundamentally change this country and society itself. The significant impact on the economy and the repercussions of that impact are highly underestimated.
PROTESTING/RIOTING/CIVIL UNREST
Protests continue to occur across the nation. Many demand racial justice, the defunding of police, or societal change towards socialism. The removal or destruction of symbols from history continues to be relevant.
- 87 protestors were arrested as they conducted a “sit in” at the home – and on the property of – Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron on Tuesday. They were demanding justice for Breonna Taylor – who was killed as part of a No-Knock warrant by police. They were at the wrong home.
- In North Portland, a crowd of over 200 protested against police brutality. Items were thrown at police as well as a construction worker who was boarding up the police station in that area. A recent shooting where a black man was killed as by police seemed to be an ignitor.
- There has been a massive spike in gun and ammunition purchases across the country as riots and protests have people on edge and have contributed to a growing level of uncertainty. A large percentage of buyers are new to the world of firearms.
- A Supreme Cout police vehicle was set on fire by an individual who poured a flammable liquid on the car and then ignored it. The suspect has been arrested.
Commentary: Civil unrest, rioting, and protesting seem to be on the decrease. While this is good news there are still pockets of violence erupting in various places. One thing that appears to be true is that the “new normal” has that almost any controversial event will cause riots and civil unrest to occur. There is little more American than protesting, however, the recent examples have certainly led to more significant and detrimental activities.
- Texas is the latest state to consider reversing its re-opening and begin shutting down “non-essential businesses.”
- Schools in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Atlanta will begin entirely online, officials said Monday. Schools in Nashville plan to do the same, at least through Labor Day. The economic impact of schools not reopening with normal attendance across much of the country is significant. Daycare facilities and retail sales for school clothes and supplies will suffer greatly.
- Businesses across the country cannot get people to come back to work as they can often make more money being in unemployment than working.
Commentary:
The COVID bailouts of businesses and payments made to Americans via stimulus checks and unemployment stipends show the inept ability of the government to do anything right. Over 3 trillion dollars spent and added to the National Debt and the vast majority of it went to big corporations and businesses who scammed the system. Companies with 10 employees reported saving 500 jobs as one example.
The government is now too big NOT to fail.
POLITICS
Much of the divide that is present in the nation is directly correlated to the divisive political environment currently in existence. Beyond healthy debate or even normal agenda-driven bias, the level of aggressive and purposely damaging action taken by Progressive politicians and groups is at an all-time high.
- Joe Biden is running ads in Texas. The significance of this cannot be overstated. Normally valuable campaign funds would only be used in a state in which the candidate believes they have a chance to win. The largely Conservative Texas has largely been signed by Democrat Presidential candidates.
- The Trump campaign is running ads in Georgia. Similar to the above story – Trump would not normally spend campaign funds this early on a state which he is sure to win. Georgia has largely been considered a shoo-in for Trump – until now.
- Shutdowns: At this point, the division is obvious. President Trump and other top Republicans are adamant against lockdowns, but Democratic politicians in many areas of the country are suggesting their need or implementing them.
Commentary:
Politicians are elected to serve their constituents. The reality is on both sides far too often their election leads to their serving a powerful base of special interests, donors, and large corporations. We continue to see people on the opinion spectrum well away from each other on opposing sides. Way on the Left you have Progressive Socialists who have one belief and perspective. Way on the Right you have Conservative Patriots who have quite a different perspective. What we know for a fact is one side aligns with what the Founders of this country believed and established. One side aligns with the Constitution. The other side does not.
You be the judge.
The unpredictability of these times is maddening. It’s like trying to find Waldo while on a roller coaster doing multiple loops at 90mph. It’s an effort in futility. I suspect this will continue for months and it will be months before we realize the true effect all of this will have on our daily lives – and our future.

[VIDEO] Shut Down Bias EXPOSED! Unreal Political Hypocrisy!
I’ve watched a lot of videos over the years that provide a perspective of truth using facts, logic, and common sense. The video below – shared to me by frequent reader Doomsday, is simply excellent. It will raise your blood pressure as a “truth bomb” and generate frustration as the entire reality of all o what is going on slaps you across the face like something out of an old Three Stooges flick. The information on current events surrounding political strife, COVID, rioting, protesting, etc. shows the unbelievable hypocrisy involved and the lies the citizenship has been told and continues to be told.

Decline of America and an American Exit Strategy – Part #2
See Part #1 here – – > Current Events and the Decline of America Part #1
In Part #1 of this series, I did my best to provide some perspective on the current state of America and compare it to the great idea she once was. All great empires and societies throughout history come to an end….eventually. Can it be saved? Yes. It is possible. The actions required to accomplish such a feat is not going to occur with our current political climate and social self-destructive ideology. There would have to be some great reckoning to generate change that will not only unite this country but unite with the ideals which it was founded.
So, we have identified that America has run its course and although we can have hope we need to face the reality that the world as we know it changing – and not for the better. The American Empire will transform – is transforming before our very eyes. The big question for all the prizes is what do we do now?
Here’s the answer:
You must enact your American Exit Strategy.
What is an American Exit Strategy? Simply put it’s a plan of action in which the desired outcome is to minimize the potential negative effects of a changing society, government, and culture. One of the many goals would be to become as independent and self-reliant as possible. Reducing dependency on such things as grocery stores, government programs, and policies, and service industries is desired.
If you are familiar with Mark Goodwin’s book American Exit Strategy, that is absolutely where the term comes from. In the book, the economy and civilization are collapsing. It is suggested by the Conservative, Independent Presidential candidate in the story that people must prepare by stockpiling food and other supplies and relocate out of the cities where civil unrest is sure to occur. He refers to the preparation for what is coming as an American Exit Strategy.
From a preparedness perspective, the correct course of action is to minimize exposure to risks and threats. With all that has happened, is happening, and the uncertainty around the corner getting away from potential civil unrest must be made a priority. Getting out of the cities – away from the cities – and into the country is essential. If permanent relocation is not possible and in many cases it’s not, then creating a “bug out plan” to relocate must be the main component of the American Exit Strategy.
Relocation: Population Density
The most dangerous threat when it all comes crashing down comes from people. Take a look around at what is happening in the area of Seattle known as “CHAZ”. When lawlessness spreads and civil unrest become more the norm being as far away from population centers will be immensely beneficial. Population density is generally measured in the number of people per square mile. When planning an American Exit Strategy, relocation – or at a minimum having a bug out location that has a very low population density is a priority.
Small towns and small communities generally have smaller problems. They also react at a much lower level to events transpiring around the world – or up the highway in a larger metropolitan area. Having a neighbor some distance away measured in hundreds of yards or miles is much better than in feet.
Example:
Mars Hill is located in the very northeastern part of Maine. It’s a very small town hours away from what anyone would consider a large city. The population density is approx. 42 people per square mile. Mars Hill has a crime rate score of A-, which is significantly better than, say, Atlanta which ranks an F. While crime rate scores are subjective and based on many data points they are a useful guide when comparing areas.
Mars Hill has a population of between 800-1000 people depending on the source. With a population density of 42 per square mile, it would not be difficult to find land “out on the sticks” with few neighbors. Raw land can be purchased as low as $400 per acre in quantity and away from more populated central areas. Population density plummets in these more remote locations.
The negatives for Mars Hill:
- Low employment opportunities.
- Severe winter weather with snowfall annually measured in feet.
- Short growing season.
- Dangerously frigid temperatures during the winter.
There are more specifics to consider when looking at a location for bugging out or completely relocating to. This example just covers a few basics.
[Most people will go out of their way to avoid an area like this, -21° F]
Shelter/Housing
Once a decision is made for relocation, typically the next question to answer is in regards to housing. Do you get a piece of land with a house, build a house, camper, RV, Yurt, shed, tent? The options are endless. Available funds will likely be the deciding factor. For those with a large source of funding – a house, cabin, bunker, or fortress or whatever will be selected and it’s an easy decision(get what you want). For the purpose of this article, I’ll focus on those like most of us(on a budget).
A few thoughts:
- Campers/RV – for those on a budget, campers and RV’s are hands down the best value in protection from the elements. Campers come as self-contained homes with all the typical essentials and comforts at a fraction of the cost of an actual house. Obviously, things such as lighting, heat, air conditioning, etc. require electricity. Off-grid power can be set up with solar fairly inexpensively and campers are readily compatible. Generators are frequently used as well in combination with solar to provide power as needed.
When looking for a camper or RV it pays to have patience and perform widespread searches. There are some fantastic deals that can be found by anyone IF you take the time to look and don’t jump on the first one you see. The specifics about the different models, designs, options, etc. is not something to be covered in this article. One thing I will say is you DO NOT have to have a vehicle capable of moving a camper. There are many moving services available across the nation that will move a camper hundreds of miles, put in its place – at very low costs. This is one of the main reasons it pays to search large areas on Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc.
- Sheds – Go search the internet for information on living in a shed and you’ll find a hodgepodge of information from customization and suggestions on how to do it, to how dangerous it is and you are evil for suggesting such a thing. Let me cut to the chase: A shed is NOT a house and as a structure is not built the same as a house. Regardless – it is a viable option to consider when setting up a “camp” or “retreat” for surviving some seriously bad times. In fact, it’s a viable option for having a weekend getaway as well, but, that’s for another article. There are considerations that must be made when setting up a shed to live in. Those specifics go beyond the scope of this article, however, I will say that things such as ventilation, leveling, moisture control, insulation, utilities, sealing, sewer, water – just to name a few.
Minimally sized sheds capable of being lived in can be purchased for as low as $3,000. The costs go well beyond the initial cost as those modifications and additions already mentioned must be done. Building it yourself will save quite a bit of money.
- Shipping Container – Shipping container homes are often discussed as a means for inexpensive, yet, durably constructed shelters. There are good reasons. Containers are used for shipping “stuff” across oceans aboard large ships. They are durable and built for stacking. They are NOT built for burying.
There are two basic sizes – 20′ foot and 40′ foot containers at 8 feet wide. This is 160 and 360 square feet respectively. With the correct skills, containers can have windows and doors cut in them. It is NOT safe to inhabit a container as they are built.
Much like a shed, shipping containers are hollow shells and will need to be furnished and finished with sewer, light, power, etc. Large flatbed trucks must access the area in which the container is being placed so this may negate some areas.
Shipping containers can be purchased as low as $1,500-$3,000 each and can be stacked or placed side-by-side. Some very unique and interesting housing units can be built with containers.
- Tent – Probably the least expensive shelter option is the tent. In the picture below a large what I would call “base camp” tent is shown. Tents can be purchased in a variety of materials such as canvas that are extremely durable. Large base camp tents often have openings for tent stove chimneys.
The con’s on tents are obvious with very little protection from the elements leading the way.
Supplies
A complete discussion on supplies needed within an American Exit Strategy plan would go well beyond the scope of this article. What I will say is the old adage – “Beans, Bullets, and Band-Aids” is a good start. Common sense dictates that essential supplies need to be available in quantity. Large quantities.
Examples of Supply Catagories:
-
- Food
- Water
- Firearms, Ammunition, Magazines, etc.
- Medical Supplies – prescriptions, first aid, Flu medicines, etc.
- Sanitation
- Communication
- Cooking
- Tools
- …..and more
How much to stock up on is a discussion that will have brothers stabbing each other with butter knives. The answer breaks down simply as much as possible. Common suggestions provide a minimum of one year of everything. What happens when one year goes by and everything is used up? Plan accordingly.
Storage of supplies is another issue. Built your American Exit Strategy plan around a shed? You’ll need another shed just for your supplies.
An entire series of articles could be developed just of the various supplies needed to live an independent and self-reliant life.
SUMMARY:
In Part #1 we reviewed what has happened to this country and the case was made that it’s truly just a matter of time before it all comes crashing down. The events we are witnessing now would fit right into the stories of such books as 299 Days, Patriots, and Doomsday: Apocalypse. Unfortunately, we are in the real world and presently are experiencing the early stages of a domestic conflict. The next few years will be very interesting as over time things will likely evolve to be more volatile and dangerous.
The hope – and my gut is telling me – is there will be a pause in the escalation. This temporary delay is what I and many others are counting on to work towards the completion of our American Exit Strategy. Whether permanent relocation is the plan or bugging out to a pre-determined location – the time is now to get ready.
Last thing: There are those that will suggest implementing such a plan is giving up. They may suggest it’s an act of cowardice. I think quite the opposite. It’s being responsible and dealing with these changing times in an appropriate manner. I am no less a Patriot today than 10 years ago. I love these United States and for all it stands.

Current Events and the Decline of America – Part #1
Mayhem. Violence. Looting. Destruction. Threats. Murders. Curfews. Civil Unrest.
Cities across the United States are burning. Literally.
The wrongful death of George Floyd under the knee of a police officer has lit a powder keg that has exploded. Cities across the nation are dealing with pandemonium as protesting turns into violent, destructive riots.
Cities with major protests/riots include Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Charlotte, Columbia, Denver, Detroit, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Grand Rapids, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York City, Oakland, Phoenix, Portland, Oregon, Raleigh, Richmond, San Antonio, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle, St. Louis, and Washington, D.C. Across all these cities protestors are causing mass destruction as vehicles are hit with numerous items such as bricks, bottles, clubs, and flames. Stores are being broken into, robbed, and in many cases set on fire.
Death and injury did not stop with George Floyd’s unfortunate murder. Numerous people have been killed and injured while engaged in rioting – or simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It’s unfortunate, and somehow disturbingly ironic, that the majority of victims are a result of black-on-black violence.
The latest outcry from protestors and those who support them is to defund police. In Minneapolis, a “veto-proof majority of the City Council committed to dismantling its police department“. This same City Council and many others across the nation including elected politicians are stating that police do not keep communities safe. As ridiculous as that may seem historical figures who have traditionally been highly respected are now being vilified as statues and monuments erected in their honor are destroyed under the umbrella of “righting past wrongs”.
Insanity.
So – in the middle of 2020 the growing division in this country has reached a level that many suggest is the most divisive in US history – including the Civil War. Beyond the violence and tension across America, other potentially catastrophic issues such as $26 trillion in National Debt, a growing Cold War with China, millions unemployed, and…oh, let’s not forget….the second wave of a pandemic waits just around the corner.
Fantastic.
America – A Bit of History
In the early 1900s, the American people had a feeling of optimism. People had a perspective that anything was possible and the American dream was real. Being self-made, and responsible for your own success was commonplace in people’s thinking. Certainly, everyone did not agree on all issues of the time. Regardless, Patriotism grew in the early 1900s as people felt the American Spirit and all things were possible.
Through two world wars, the American people supported the idea of freedom and fighting evil wherever it showed itself around the world. America served as a beacon of peace and freedom. Citizens from Socialist countries around the world sought the American Dream. They dreamed of freedom and all the opportunities America provides. They loved America and proudly waved the American flag.
The Greatest Generation existed in an era of success, innovation – as well as turmoil as they lived through the Great Depression. They had a tremendous work ethic and due to living through years of economic struggles appreciated what they had. Many of this generation lost loved ones and friends in World War II. They understood, appreciated, and respected sacrifice.
People like those of the Greatest Generation are what made America great. Now – compare them to those today who fret over social justice, climate change, and other “important” issues such as making certain that we use the correct pronoun when referring to someone. Today’s generation has their perspective on issues guided by thins such as feelings – and emotion. Facts and logic no longer are important to those who have a cause which they use to justify their own existence.
The Decline of America
For more than 60 years America has been in decline and an effort has been underway to change the very fabric of this country. Political corruption and governmental policies have brought populations from rural America and concentrated them into cities. Illegal immigration to a large extent has continued to be allowed to occur and has vastly increased the numbers in the base of the Democratic Party. Why? Power. Even the great Conservative Ronald Reagan was fooled into supporting full amnesty for illegals back in the ’80s. Progressives for decades have written into law policies that have enslaved Black Americans and held them back economically as entitlements disincentivized them to explore their full potential. This was done under the guise of “helping” – and most were completely fooled.
The American people are not innocent in America’s decline. For more than 60 years the Constitution has been slowly shredded and government assumed power over much of our lives where the Constitution provides no authority. Those in government who made laws that expanded authority and grew government well beyond that which the Founders set forth were elected by the people. We are largely to blame.
Corporations and special interests have grown to own the vast majority of elected politicians. The Deep State is a significant power as it secretly influences government decisions and actions to obtain more and more power for those who already have it. Numerous policy changes over the last several decades have weakened the United States. Consider how as a country our level of self-sufficiency in regards to food production, technology, and medical supplies has been decreased to the point we rely on foreign countries for our continued way of life.
Is There Hope?
Earlier in this article, I provide a mere glimpse of the tremendous accomplishments past generations have made in addition to adversity overcome. Historically I and many others have believed there is no challenge that we as a people cannot overcome. Consider September 12th, 2001. The day after and for many months UNITED WE STAND was the battle cry of the American people who came together in unity against terrorism and fear.
It didn’t last.
Back in 1984, the American people backed Ronald Reagan for President and he won decisively. America’s Cold War against the Soviet Union was at the forefront of threats and the American people were largely unified behind the efforts to rid Communism from the world. The 80’s with Reagan as President was a time of great hope, prosperity – and Patriotism.
Below shows a state-by-state map of the 1984 Presidential Election Results.
Fast forward to 2016 and the election of Donald Trump. One of the most divisive elections in US history. The results shocked the world. Businessman Donald J. Trump won the election against Hillary Clinton even though ALL polling data and the mainstream media had him losing handily. While Trump won the Electoral College and thus the election – he lost the popular vote. Looking at the map below showing how counties across America voted, it would appear the country was largely united behind Donald Trump – I would agree. The popular vote was lost due to the large cities and metropolitan areas where for decades governmental policies moved large populations into concentrated areas. In many cases, an individual city may have more votes than the entire rest of the state.
Is there hope?
Yes – but very little. The vast majority of politicians regardless of which side of the aisle they come from are corrupt. This has been proven over and over again for decades as good men(and women) are voted into office and they fail to follow through with the promises they made. While many will say that politics and preparedness have nothing to do with each other I believe facts tell quite a different story. When compiling a threat assessment as part of any preparedness system, one will find that the government at some point had a role to play in many of the listed threats.
So – here we are. We are in the middle of 2020 and living through endless headlines having us wonder what could possibly happen next. While I’m no prophet and predicting the future is certainly an effort in futility, I’ll provide a few thoughts:
- Antifa and BLM will continue to promote violence and civil unrest in cities across the nation. Every new questionable police interaction will fuel the mob which will no doubt create more victims. While similar events have occurred before and settled down quickly, this time will be different.
- Politicians at all levels will take advantage of the discourse to further gain power, votes, and their agenda. Liberal leaders and celebrities will side with BLM and state while violence is not the solution they understand the frustrations and anger.
- Cities with Liberal leaders will continue to allow destruction and anarchy pulling back law enforcement from holding those accountable for the destruction of public and private property and the violence many carry out.
- Violence will continue in the cities with little threat to rural America. While there have been statements made to head out of the cities into neighborhoods by BLM and Antifa, it is unlikely this will be carried out in any significant numbers.
- Trump supporters and “Patriots” who often quote the Constitution and enjoy their guns and Bibles will be called racists, White Nationalists, Fascists, and a threat to America by the mainstream media.
- COVID-19 is not over and a 2nd Wave – regardless of the true risk and severity – will be major news out of the mainstream media, and Democrat Party. The Trump Administration will be blamed for ALL negativity reported.
- The stock market will continue its roller coaster ride of high’s and low’s as the countries economic indicators are horrible at best.
- The economy will keep moving forward for the time being. Some businesses affected by COVID will begin recovering and hiring people back. Other businesses will never reopen and will be gone for good.
- Food supply streams will be inconsistent as a down growing season in 2019, and COVID-19 economic ramifications have a negative impact on the 2020 farmers’ ability to be profitable.
- Gun sales will continue at a high pace with many first-time gun owners entering the market.
- The Presidential Election of 2020: November of 2016 will look like an elementary school field trip in comparison. ‘Nuff said.
Is there hope? As stated – very little. The National Debt will continue to accelerate higher ever-increasing at faster and faster rates. I do not see a path which this is reversible. The division in this country may be irreparable. Possibly some event, some epiphany will bring people together to be unified. I see this as highly unlikely. Possibly the MSM will begin to report the news and investigate in an honorable fashion – with the TRUTH as the main objective. Highly unlikely. Is it possible that Christianity will see a mass resurgence and ethics, morals, and virtues will become mainstream once again. Don’t see it but we can certainly pray.
What can we really do? We can have as much influence as possible. We can spread the word of Freedom. We can educate others on the true history of this country rather than revisionist history being taught in schools today. We can vote for the best candidates from local elections all the way up to national with the HOPE that in some small way a difference will be made.
There are other actions we can take. Other actions we must take.
That will have to wait for Part 2.

Politicians Lied About the Lockdowns
Over the last few months, we’ve been told the peak was coming – we just need to make it through the peak. Then, “flatten the curve” was the line repeated over and over again when asking about reopening States. Now many politicians are saying reopening cannot occur until every citizen has been tested and/or a cure is found.
This is for a virus that has an effective lethality rate MUCH lower than originally forecasted. While a segment of the population remains at risk for COVID-19, EVERYONE is at risk of suffering the consequences of economic collapse. It seems commonsense that those at risk from a health perspective should be quarantined – not everyone in the country.
The video below sums my own feelings very well.

What if Trump Gets the Coronavirus?
How many have considered what would occur if Trump comes down wth the COVID-19? The effects of this condition would have far reaching effects well beyond the logistics of the President possibly being sick.
Right now the US stock markets are enjoying a rally based on HOPE, rather than actual economic data and conditions. Much of this hope revolves around President Trump who consistently promotes positiveness related to the horrible effects this pandemic has had on the economy. He and his Administration has done a fantastic job of underplaying the true situation we are in and the stock market is hopeful his economic prowess can not only repeat what he did during his first three years but even beat it.
If President Trump becomes sickened with COVID-19 all bets are off. The HOPE and OPTIMISM in the markets would most certainly dissipate and numbers would crash. The overall sentiment among citizens would change and morale would drop. It would be catastrophic.

Why is this such a concern at this point in time? First off, many in the White House – including the Coronavirus Task Force and many aides to those members – do not wear PPE on a consistent basis. Next, there are now positive COVID-19 cases in the White House very close to the President and Vice President(Pence spokeswoman Katie Miller and a military valet to the president). This is significant and several Task Force members have now self-quarantined. These members include FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn and CDC Director Robert Redfield. Anthony Fauci himself is reportedly working from home due to the COVID-19 cases in the White House.
It is reported that Pence spokeswoman Miller was testing negative right up to the day she became symptomatic and then tested positive. As we all know many are contagious prior to becoming symptomatic, thus it is likely her negative tests were false. Who has she exposed and possibly infected?

President Trump is certainly in the high-risk category for anyone being exposed to the contagion. He is 73 years old and overweight. Pence himself is younger and in better shape, but certainly not in the low-risk category. I have no doubt their health is being monitored closely and we all need to pray that they remain healthy and virus-free. Should either one of them contract the virus it will certainly add additional complexity to an already volatile situation.
Stay vigilant!

Virginia Gun Rights Protest Monday, January 20th – A POWDER KEG!!
Virginia Governor Ralph Northam and the Democrat-controlled government has been threatening to pass sweeping gun control bills striking to the heart of the United States Constitution and the 2nd Amendment. In response to these actions, numerous counties have passed laws declaring themselves “sanctuaries” from gun control laws passed by the state government. While the legality of such zones is in question, tens of thousands of 2nd Amendment supports and Freedom-loving Patriots have planned to protest on the Capitol grounds in Richmond, Virginia on Monday. This past Wednesday, Governor Northam declared a state of emergency that bans firearms and other weapons on Capitol grounds in Richmond ahead of the planned protests. On Thursday the Virginia Senate passed three of the proposed gun control bills which limit the number of firearms allowed to be purchased by citizens, universal background checks, a “red flag” law, and more.
This is where the situation sits as of Saturday morning, January 18th. With Governor “Ralphie” Northam taking a hard stand against the protestors disallowing them to carry during the protest a situation now exists for serious conflict between law enforcement and protestors. The latest news has Captial grounds being fenced in providing only two means of entry. Metal detectors and cell phone monitoring equipment has also been put in place.
I sincerely hope that the protest remains peaceful and thousands of gun-friendly protestors show up and march for their and everyone else’s rights. I am gravely concerned that Antifa and other antagonistic groups will create an environment of lawlessness. There is evidence that “crisis actors” have been sought and a “Black Flag” event could be at hand. Worst case: Shots are fired from one side or the other – and this event possibly goes down in history as another “shot heard around the world” with unpredictable and dangerous times to follow.
Folks – what’s happening in Virginia is a perfect example of the assault on the Constitution and Patriots everywhere. If the 2nd Amendment falls – the rest will be close behind.
Stack it deep and stack it high!

Trouble In The World – Iran
The United States is involved in too many countries around the world. Regardless of political leanings far too much blood and way too much taxpayer money have been spent getting involved in other countries and their business. The past several decades have seen wars and conflicts that were more about money, oil, and power than the security of the most powerful nation on Earth. I’m not an isolationist. I believe that if you see your neighbor in trouble and you can lend a hand to help that a good way to keep relationships positive and conflict down.
The United States killed a high-level political member of the Iranian government. While the action may have been justified based on current events the entire reasoning of how we arrived at this point is full of corruption and greed.
Check out the video below for a history lesson – and a wakeup call if you were unaware of the facts involved.
What precisely the Iranian’s will do as a response is unknown. Nothing? Possibly terrorist attacks on American’s in the Middle East? Could the rumored “sleeper cells” within the borders of the US become active and carry out some type of deadly attack? Will more military strikes between the two countries occur? Might as well shake the Magic 8 Ball to get the answer.
Take care of everyone. Be vigilant. Continue to prepare, to plan, and persevere.

2020: A Year Leading to Uncertainty
For the past few years, many have looked at 2020 as the pinnacle point in the near future. Why? I suspect it’s not due to it being a leap year.
Back in November of 2016 many on both sides of the political aisle looked at 2020 as a significant year. If Donald J. Trump turned out to horrible for the country we only needed to wait four years to vote him out. It’s obvious that for most of us who value the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the foundational values which this country was founded believe things have gone much better than expected. No – Trump is not a savior nor would anyone argue he is a good example of morality. The outcome of his first three years speaks for themselves.
For many preparedness-minded folks who were so focused and prepared with an unrelenting fervor due to the certainty that Killary would be victorious – the outcome of the election allowed a giant sigh of relief. I’ve been highly critical of those who allowed this breather to extend beyond 2017.
We approach 2020 and this country is relishing in low unemployment, growing wages, record-breaking markets, and what appears to be a growing sense of unity and patriotism within its populace. Depending on your source of news it can appear things just can’t get any better. Having this perspective would be a terrible mistake. While being positive and hopeful is admirable – being prudent and realistic pays dividends.
I remember reading the adage above in my teenage years and it stuck. While the focus of this narrative thus far encompasses politics and the intense disarray in this country, there are many more reasons to prepare than the threat of civil war.
Talking to others who are immensely concerned with the direction this country is heading has all of them focussed on November of 2020. While only a few have suggested that they expect some sense of unrest immediately following the election(regardless of the outcome) – all believe that civil unrest and regional domestic conflict is just a matter of time.
November of 2020. A Liberal Democrat Socialist wins. The country will head down one possible path.
November of 2020: Donald J. Trump wins. The country will head down another possible path.
Regardless of the outcome, the events to follow are as uncertain as who will win in 2024(if there’s an election).
Prepare. Be deliberate.

The Left Stands Against Police and All Gun Owners
The left never ceases to amaze me. Countless genders. No border security. 7 years to act on climate change or the world will end. Abortion AFTER birth is still a woman’s choice.
This endless credit list of insanity coming from the Left is absurd….and is destroying the country. Let’s review a couple recent examples from the Left.
- San Fransisco labels NRA a terrorist organization
- California passes a law that citizens can stand by and watch law enforcement in danger
While the NRA has some serious problems right now they are and have been a force protecting gun rights for all Americans. While we may not agree with all of their actions and decisions facts are facts. There is a reason the Left hates the NRA and for that reason alone I will continue to support them. Now a terrorist organization? So pathetic I just have to laugh. Freedom to make personal choices is…..well….freedom. California going out if it’s way to tell all citizens that it is perfectly fine to stand by while a police officer is beaten to death. Really? Why do they feel the need to do this? Was this really such a big issue that a law had to be passed? No – they are furthering their agenda and driving their base further to the Left.
Liberalism is a mental disorder.
Period.

2020 Democrat Candidates and Gun Control
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it a thousand times – politics and preparedness go hand in hand. Our ability to defend ourselves from the perspective of lawfulness is at the mercy of politicians at the local, state, and federal level. Regardless of their apparent misunderstanding of “shall not be infringed”, the assclowns tend to reduce and regulate that which should not be.
While I’m 100% certain there is no political solution for what is coming I nevertheless am active in the political scene and remain aware. As much or as little as my opinion and my vote may have an actual effect on this country I exercise both regardless. I look at it that ANY benefit that is realized buys time.
Time to prepare. Time to get ready. Time to stock up.
Kamala Harris is just one of the current 20 liberal/socialist candidates vying to run for President in 2020. Something that all have in common is there desire to inflict irreparable damage to gun owners. Phrases such as “universal background checks”, “confiscation”, and “gun bans” are commonly used as these nitwits offer solutions to a problem that doesn’t exist.
Check out the interview below with Harris. If you haven’t taken your blood pressure medicine first.
Right now ammunition is very cheap. Firearms are very cheap. Magazines are readily available and, yup – super cheap. Anyone seeing that it is just a matter of time before the political winds shift and our gun rights are trampled need to stock it high and stack it deep.
Right now an AR-15 can be built for less than $300. It’s time.
Lowers, and uppers, and magazines….Oh my!!!

Preparing for an Assault on our Constitutional Rights
It’s easy to find yourself engulfed in ignorant bliss as the Supreme Court is transformed, the economy booms, and it appears the zombie apocalypse has been pushed off for at least a decade or so. Is that reality? Let’s hope so.
What we know is the largest shoe company in the world just added Colin Kaepernick as their spokesperson. They have selected an individual that kneels for the national anthem and believes that the United States is fundamentally racist. With Nike selecting him as their spokesperson they are aligning themselves with his beliefs. Sales of Nike’s shoes spiked after the announcement. This is telling but the full story is yet to be told.
We know the Deep State and the Left is getting highly aggressive in their battle against Trump, Patriots, and Constitutional Conservatives in America. The recent Op-Ed in the New York Times by an Anonymous, supposed Senior White House Staffer states there is a group within the White House undermining the President. The Russian Collusion investigation is nothing more than a soft coup. Democrats are savoring a November blue wave so they can impeach Trump and carry forward their agenda of division and governmental dependence.
Back in August of 2016, James Wesley Rawles over at SurvivalBlog.com wrote a post I found shocking. He suggested the election of Hillary Clinton would bring a serious restriction on our 1st Amendment rights leading to the shutting down of certain websites and alternative news sources. He suggests an all-out attack could be launched against many of us that promote the truth and what America was founded on. At the time I thought this was rather sessional. Now? Not so much.
Here is Rawles’s post and I believe the future is uncertain enough that his suggested steps are well worth taking:
Madame President Clinton’s Coming War on the Blogosphere, and Your Countermeasures
Now that Hillary (“Hitlery”) Rodham Clinton (HRC) has received the Democratic Party nomination for president, there is a strong likelihood that she will win the election in November and then be enthroned as president in January of 2017. I predict that she will waste no time in launching an onslaught of punitive new policies via executive orders, presidential memoranda, and policy directives promulgated through her cabinet and Federal agencies to eviscerate our Constitutional rights (most notably the 1st and 2nd Amendments). A key goal of this campaign will be silencing dissent in the alternative press and the American blogosphere. Given HRC’s history in government “service”, her outlook on life, her socialist agenda, and her vindictiveness, I anticipate that any or all of the following measures will be undertaken by the HRC Administration:
- The Department of Justice (DOJ) will be used to selectively prosecute dissenters for “hate speech”. For instance, simply objecting to illegal immigration or state sponsored relocation of Muslims will be called “evidence of hate.” They will also declare blogs, news sites, and podcasts to be “public accommodations” and hence saddle them with a long list of new restrictions that would effectively muzzle them from making any comments opposed to HRC’s agenda and “protected” classes. Even the use of “trigger words” could be restricted.
- The Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) will be used to target dissenters who make any comments about any corporations, mutual funds, or banks, for “operating as unregistered investment advisors”.
- The Federal Election Commission (FEC) will be used to target Libertarians and other dissenters for “unlawful campaigning”.
- The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will use their newly-assumed powers over the Internet to enforce a new radicalized version of the moribund Fairness Doctrine upon bloggers, vloggers (video bloggers), podcasters, as well as newspapermen, magazine writers, and talk radio hosts. Under this new and improved fairness policy, any media outlet that is deemed a public accommodation will be forced to free of charge provide equal space to assorted perverts, leftists, and Social Justice Warriors. Failure to do so will open up these news outlets to both criminal prosecution and costly civil lawsuits.
- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will be used to selectively audit tax filings, levy bank accounts, garnish wages, and refer criminal prosecution of anyone who voices dissent of HRC’s statist/collectivist agenda. Lois Lerner’s group was just the precursor!
- The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will be used to target dissenters who own property with seasonal puddles that could be deemed “wetlands” or creeks that could be arbitrarily declared “navigable waters”.
- The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency will be used to target dissenters living within 50 miles of the Mexican or Canadian borders for harassment and intimidation, searching their homes without warrants.
- The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) and associated Tribal Police will be used to target dissenters living within 100 miles of any Tribal Reservation for harassment and intimidation.
- The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) will crack down on any bloggers who make posts that might be construed as a product review or product endorsement.
- The Transportation Security Agency (TSA) will be used to limit the travel of anyone deemed by HRC’s cronies to be an Enemy of the State (through expansion of the No Fly List, Terror Watch List, and Selectee List).
- The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will crack down on producers of raw milk and nutritional supplements (and also on the bloggers who promote them).
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will prosecute anyone operating unlicensed drones weighing more than just a few ounces.
- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) will use both its own agents and paid (or coerced) surrogate agent provocateurs to infiltrate militias, patriot groups, and secessionist organizations. There, they will foment schemes that can be prosecuted under loosely-worded Federal conspiracy laws. (This is precisely what was done with the Bundy Ranch and Malheur Wildlife Refuge protestors.)
- Working in conjunction with the FCC, the U.S. Coast Guard will board any ship within Territorial Waters that they suspect of operating an unlicensed transmitter.
I can see all of this coming, and I refuse to be muzzled. I aim to misbehave. If need be, I will relocate so that I can still blog freely. In anticipation of HRC’s possible upcoming coronation, here are some possible countermeasures for my fellow bloggers to seriously consider:
- Contract for the use of an offshore server in a country that has minimal influence from the United States government, and move your web pages there.
- Get set up for encrypted e-mail. (The free GPG software installed on your local PC works quite well. And for those who are less tech savvy, the paid Unseen.is service in Iceland works fine.)
- Post provisos on your web site that are similar to my own. (Most importantly, these provisos must declare that you do not operate a “public accommodation.”)
- Buy an Iridium satellite telephone and a set of Iridium international power adapters. (Unlike cell phones or other sat phones, calls made from Iridium constellation phones can be traced only to a particular oval satellite “footprint” that measures hundreds of miles across.)
- Buy several inexpensive prepaid “burner” cell phones. Pay greenback cash for these phones, and use an assumed name when you eventually activate them.
- Buy a nondescript camping trailer or RV and quietly (via face-to-face contacts only) develop a “hospitality list” of like-minded families who own parcels of land that you can bounce between, in the event that you need to take refuge.
- Buy a spare laptop computer (preferably one that is ultra-reliable, such as a Panasonic Toughbook), a 12 VDC car adapter, and a set of international power adapters.
- Buy a USB external long range Yagi wireless antenna to use with your laptops. (The standoff distance that these provide will make it harder to pinpoint your location when using a public wi-fi hotspot.)
- Buy a batch of at least 40 inexpensive 2 GB USB memory sticks that you can use to physically mail (or courier) digital content, to keep your locale secret.
- Make sure that your passport is updated.
- Do some research to develop a short list of countries where you would consider relocating. Ideally, a country should have respect for the freedom of speech, minimal taxation, minimal influence from the United States government, and NO rendition (extradition) treaty with the United States.
- Establish an offshore bank account.
- Beyond just offshore residency, if you can afford it, then buy a second passport. (Typically, this is done with a “Citizenship Through Investment” program.)
- Via encrypted e-mail, develop contacts with foreign bloggers, and get their tentative agreement to post your ghost-written articles, if circumstances change.
- Pray hard.
I don’t mean for the foregoing to sound alarmist. Consider me a realist. – JWR

What if Trump is Impeached? Is The Left Really Ready For What Comes Next?
Division in this country continues to increase and talk of a second civil war is ramping up. While many believe the possibility of a second civil war(CW2) is ridiculous – it’s a fact that more and more people are seeing the possibility. When and who are on each
side ? That’s the $50,000 dollar question and giving an accurate prediction would be an effort in futility.Much of this division is directly related to politics and socio-economic beliefs. I believe most Americans regardless of there political leanings are fairly common in their beliefs. So, why the increasing division? The media is largely responsible for motivating one group against the other. It is also very true that the belief systems within the Democrat and Republican parties have changed. The Democrat party has swung way to the Left, while the Republican party has slowly moved to the Right. Those on the Left are now suggesting violence against the Right on a regular basis. This is
a significant and important change as the amount of violence at protests, and against the Right is increasing. Regardless – Congress is full of corrupt politicians on both sides. With the #NeverTrump and #Impeach45 movements gaining ground in the Left, along with the midterm elections fast approaching there is growing concern that a Democrat-controlled Congress will lead to Trump being removed from office. The following video discusses that possibility.

Q – The Plan To Save The World
I had a friend send me this video. Most of the time these types of media productions I discount to nothing more than conspiracy dribble. I enjoyed the video and agree with much of the content and even hope some of the predictions are true. I then thought – “Hmmmm…..I wonder what others think about it.”
I would like to think there will eventually be justice for the crooks that have plagued us in Washington and throughout this great country.
So – take a gander and share your thoughts below.
