This is one of those random thought posts. Typically I call them, “From the Desk of John Rourke.” Since moving into a camper full-time with my MPG there is no desk to be had. Kitchen table? Yeah.

Picked up an off-the-books AR lower the other day. Looking for a few more and that is proving difficult as most are not willing to give them up. I used to believe that purchasing firearms from private sellers was not all that important. Not so much anymore. With government intrusion on almost every aspect of our lives and that same government asking friends and families to inform on “extremists” they know having off-record firearms seems more logical now.

I’ve been out of the martial arts area for some time. Feel like it’s time to get back in it. Practicing some on my own would be a good start then traveling to visit my Balintawak instructor would be great. I’m going to be adding some basic stickfighting drills over in the membership area soon.

Members of the Patriot Brigade already know, but, we purchased a new camper and live in it full time. Life is good as we continue to work on our own American Exit Strategy. Living a fairly simple life as we reduce debt, save money – and live life to be as happy as possible is the plan.

I’ll be posting a separate article with details on the build, however, I will say I am very happy. The Recce Rifle is not overly heavy and is extremely accurate. The upper came from MidState Firearms and like every build I’ve done using their uppers, it’s impressive.
The vast majority of my AR’s have simple red dots. This one is with a magnified optic is incredibly easy to hit targets at range.

The rifle looks pretty good. I really dig the optics.
One of the issues I have always thought of is, what do you do when you don’t have a battery? I’ve seen batteries run out, including ‘new’ batteries, at the worst possible moments.
That blaster is definitely the thing for the inevitable “Bigfoot Apocalypse”.
We took our 3 new wardogs cryptid-hunting this past week. Gotta start the training at an early age.
They managed to nearly get a butterfly, and almost a very tough-looking squirrel. No sasquatch, dogmen, or wendingo.

It really doesn’t matter too much anymore about being “under the radar”, clever or whatever. You and I and everyone who visits your informative site and similar are already on the ‘list’. To think otherwise is an infantile dream to say the least.
The biggest thing you can do is to just persevere, as you are doing, and showing others how to to the same, in the face of adversity. After all, the current desperate message being sent from Mordor is that you cannot prevail in the struggle against ‘them’, the supposed omnipotent. That is their false assumption predicated in their own propaganda, lies, and fear that now is visibly emanating from the core of evil. They are caught in an echo chamber of their own making. They wish to destroy opposition by any means other than direct confrontation because they know that is the ultimate direction it will all take, and when it occurs, the only solution isn’t going to be a reboot of the computer or hit the delete button or ‘unlike’ someone on fb and make all the uncomfortableness disappear. Its going to get very reality based.
They fear the truth because they are weak. Does anyone who champions their cause think for a second that they themselves will be safe if retribution comes to their doorstep? …calling 911 isn’t calling God, its just another idiot on the payroll who doesn’t give a shit…. the maligned souls that believe that they will be exempt from the chaos know in their heart that they too are expendable. They know it and they are fearful. Its going to be a new version of the knockout game only they will be the target.
Keep up the good fight. We just wasted 20 years, spent trillions, killed multitudes, wasted thousands of lives and more permanently injured only to be vanquished in Afghanistan by folks with nothing more than rifles, explosives, wearing flip-flops and possessing a will and determination to create their own destiny. Its going to be a hell of a lot more difficult here. They cannot police any major city now, what makes them think they can do more when the populace rises up? Christopher Dorner basically shut down Los Angeles, population ~39million. One guy with a mission. Just imagine the chaos possible when the number of resistors climbs exponentially.
Prepare, prep and pray. And remember this of our enemy, “The darkest place in the universe is a Godless mind.” They will not prevail. Let the light shine forth.
