This will be a fairly short and simple review. I’ve been using this 10,000mAh solar power bank since November of 2016. It works and works well. Numerous trips including my jaunt down the Virginia Creeper Trail I’ve used this external battery pack to keep my cell phone topped off. Communications with family, being able to take pictures and videos, as well as keeping in touch with others is important.
This solar power bank can also charge other batteries for things like flashlights and walkie-talkies.
With 10,000mAh of capacity, it can charge most modern smartphones at least twice or keep it topped off for hours and hours.
The solar function is primarily for topping off the unit or charging it fully if it is left in the sun and not used. It takes days to charge it via the sun so understand that is not a primary means for charging. The 10,000mAh solar power bank is meant to be charged at home – then taken on the go.
Recently I ran the power bank almost dead and left it outside for several days. It did eventually charge completely and survived at least two days of downpours and also one night of freezing temperatures. So – after a year of use I can fully endorse and recommend it.

I had bought the KMASHI 15000mAh External Battery Power Bank on your recommendation and have been very pleased by it, this looks like a possible next purchase. BTW, I have that same COAST flashlight you mention a few days ago, it’s attached to my AK as a el cheapo light for the travel rifle. It’s survived so far approx 80rds mounted using a shotgun magazine clamp to the gas tube. Looking at buying another one to keep in the jacket for work. I also am only using lith-Ion batteries in the ‘good’ flashlights.
Sounds good. I’m in for one. Thanks and I will purchase on Amazon, via clicking on your link. Unfortunately, says it will not be back in stock until December 21rst, but I will get it then.
The nice short connector cord that comes with this does not have a real lightning plug for an iPhone. It’s fake. It won’t even go in my phone. It does not have any “connector” lines on it. “Made in China”? The cord is useless.
