Recently had a good friend on FB say the following:
“Isn’t it strange that Civil War 2.0 will be fought by Republicans vs Democrats again?”
My response(I largely agree with him):
I think there are other sides and facets to CW 2.0. You have groups that hate both those that are far Left – Middle – and Right. That is what will make this conflict so dangerous. Remember hearing about all the guerilla warfare and insurgency in Iraq? That is largely what will happen here. Unlike the first CW, battles lines will be local AND regional. Fighting within states and cities will be carried out. Politics will play a role, however, demographics will as well. Race, unfortunately, will be a factor as well. I’ve been pushing the thought for several years there would be a new Civil War. Others like you have the wisdom to see what lies just over the horizon.
I’ve stated previously and will again that Civil War 2.0 has already started. I’ll not suggest that any of my predictions are accurate nor correct. When it comes to predicting the future there are far too many variables to accurately predict what will occur with a high level of certainty. Here’s the reality though: We are preppers and survivalists. Forecasting the future and preparing for what MIGHT happen is what we do. Others can bask in their ignorant bliss. We will be responsible and do the right thing!
All over social media, there is talk of a new civil war. Many claim that when it starts it will be over because Patriots have the guns. I say underestimating your opponent is a quick way to being defeated. Those right now that can be pointed to as the enemy are rioting, looting, carrying out violence, and are involved in some of the protesting. From all accounts, they are well funded and have much better organization than those of us on the Right. In many areas, those that are “anti-Patriot” have some backing by local politicians and media. This is powerful.
Setting up reliable and secure communication networks is one of the many things that those of us who are on the side of freedom and liberty must do. That will be discussed more over the coming months as well as other areas of preparation for CW 2.0. We will discuss here and on Patreon. couple thoughts .. I’m not sure how many months of the freedom to do whatever you want are left. so my thought..
Prioritize: First things first and down the list as needed, until you are done, or can’t do anymore. IMO as you say, not a prediction, an observation.
If you don’t have a group, think about getting one.
If you don’t have planes, make them and carry them out, inline with whatever your sense of urgency is (see first comment). Not everyone has the same sense, or urgency ranging from those who like to talk and speculate, to those who are on the opposite end. (I am not sure there is such thing as premature-preparedness… but precipitous actions could damage you in the future, so consider your actions well, before taking them.
From here on out, don’t be too interesting.. and do not openly discuss your “plans” with those you do not trust…(you cannot trust Social Media) which means in a sense I am violation that rule here. At the very least do not not put details in insecure communications.. IMO.. not doom-saying.. just being consistent..
Avoid contemporary jargon easily filtered for keywords. You can hid in plain site, since there is SO MUCH information, it has to be filtered through and stand out to be examined.
If you do not have a library, put a premium on information gathering.. many many sources are FREE.. but again .. be careful where you go and use sources that do not require registration.. and for goodness sake use call signs not tied to you anywhere else if you must register something.

The closer we get to the election, the more widespread all of the chaos will become. Better get ready for the night and weeks after the election. When Trump is re-elected, the bottom will literally fall out. All the crazies will be out. Meantime, you are exactly correct, goinggray. Disappear in plain sight. No cutesy bumper stickers. They will label immediately. Be careful what you wear. As much as I hate it, no wearing of MAGA hats. Something plain will do. Remove anything that identifies you from your vehicles to you body. Be gray.

Everyone is in a different place on their preparedness journey and exactly where the journey’s final destination varies greatly with different people. As you mentioned a plan needs to be made(goals) – and those tasks needed to be completed to reach those goals prioritized and completed.
Networking is important. Having folks you can depend on vital.
Living grey? Nowadays that’s tough. Good advice you gave. As you know my OPSEC is minimal. That is by choice. It is what it is and I do make efforts to minimize certain aspects of my life. well I struggle with my greyness, or lack thereof..
You can’t share an coach and stay as gray as you can if you do not, then again .. perfectly grey has not access to other minds and coaches.. it’s a balance..
Not using buzz words and exercising your 11th grade English composition class helps..
Every discipline .. legal. medical, electrical, plumbing or prepping develops a lingo, with specialized expressions.. just explain what you do in normal English, and you are clear.. for the most part.. as to content anyway.. Organizations affiliations with membership lists.. might not be a good idea..
No one in today’s world is without an electronic foot print.. Of course you can push it to cash.. so you can’t be tracked.. except online.. and Oh .. why would stores be going cashless ? no change .. coin shortages ? BS IMO
So.. the balance.. complete isolation and no information or complete exposure.. Only do what you believe your situation can tolerate.. also IMO
I keep adding .. to the library.. after a while it does become repetitive.. and it becomes more important o put to use those collected skills.. words are only so effective.. HANDS remember.. and acquired skill when performed.. words are ideas un-applied.. until learned personally…

Good read on current events, even our president has came out and said democrats are pushing for a civil war, like you’ve been saying JR we are already in this war weather we like it or not, it’s been a info war before this year, propaganda has been used by our CIA many times to topple governments or make society vote for something they want ( gun control, I personally think the active shooters, are some how being used for just this topic right here, kinda funny how they all stopped after we got a pro 2A president isn’t it? Never mind the shooter is 99% a left wing nut job, coincidence I DONT BELIEVE IN THEM!) So think 🤔 that we are not already in this war is very naive in my humble opinion. Trump was basically elected because he got his message out through social media, thanks to the left completely owning the main stream media besides at that point Fox, but look what’s happened over the last four years, Fox isn’t quite Fox News anymore is it, and social media has all but shut down the conservatives speech and now Antifa and Black lives matter intimidate everyone they can virtually shutting down our first amendment right! Either we stand and scream from the roof tops now, keep Trump in office or this will be the last “semi fair” presidential election we will ever see! You will see gun rights completely taken away after they take care of Supreme Court in many states and then states will start to take sides, but I believe it will go all the way down to the county level as to taking sides… how many guns will we have left? As far as a easy fight… that’s wishful thinking, if democrats have control your picture in your head about fighting Antifa better include them standing next to foreign military powers! China’s army is a million strong, who have the democrats been friending???? THINK 🤔, these people are not stupid! If they have the White House, then they have the keys to the kingdom, lol did you assume democrats would be fighting fair? Do you think they care about this county, it’s people, it’s land? They care about power! And to them WE are for sale! Easy…. the levels of brutality coming to everyone you know and love is only limited to YOUR imagination! It’s all so obvious now how we got to this point. I’m not going to claim that our side is completely blameless in getting us here but what the other side has been doing for the last decade would have brought us to this point regardless. Forget the past, just look at today: we have one of the two major political parties, the vast majority of the media, Hollywood, Twitter, Facebook and Google, and the deep state all aligned against us. All intent on convincing a stupified nation that we are the bad guys, a basket full of irredeemable deplorables, racists all. The FBI claims that the biggest threat to this country is white supremacists, and anyone who is conservative, anyone who votes for Trump is a white supremacist. I’m 60 years old, traveled all around the country, still haven’t met one yet. In November, regardless who wins the other side is going to believe the election was stolen, and the political left are already saying they will not accept the results if Trump wins. Now I don’t know what our side will do if Biden wins, but I know what the other side is planning, all out war. The last ingredient needed to set this civil war off is the two sides in Washington claiming the other side is stealing the election. The only thing that will stop this from happening is a landslide victory by one side or the other… and that’s not going to happen
