Well – here we go. I wonder a year from now what we’ll reflect back on and remember.

Looking at online gun retailers I see Para Ordnance 1911’s available fairly cheap. I had contacts with employee’s who worked in Para’s Pineville, NC plant who said things much improved at the company when Remington bought them out. The plant shut down a couple years ago when Remington consolidated operations in Alabama.

I’ve always questions the quality of Para but have no first hand experience with them. Several models are available online for $599.

I cannot fathom what it must be like to live in Israel. Surrounded by the enemy – people who want you dead. It must be extremely disappointing the stance the Obama administration and the UN have taken recently.

The magazine Ballistic is pretty good. I haven’t bought every issue but the photography is fantastic and some very good content.

I am no fan of zionists nor is anybody in my family or church. After three days, visitors and fish go bad… maybe this is past time for the squatters in Palestine to leave. Listen to everybody else on this planet, zionists are not wanted, zionists go away!

  The Palestinians are the squatters. There has NEVER been a country called Palestine. Most of the lands the Palestinians have historical occupied are in Jordan not Israel. The only reason there are so many in the West Bank and Gaza today is because the King of Jordan expelled them and took their land. So, you go ahead and stand with the rest of the world, I’m standing with Israel to the end!!!!!

The end of obama and hopefully the Clintons – that’s what I’m looking forward to in 2017. Hoping that Trump will reverse much of what has been done the past 8 years and get us back on track. Those who are enemies of Israel fight a big foe – The Lord God Almighty but the lost won’t see and turn, too bad. Never had a Para, some friends do and they seem to like them. Have to take a look at Ballistic, sounds cool. 2017 lies ahead, hoping it’s a great year for everyone.

I love 1911’s, have a few. Have always thought about pickin one up, maybe I’ll think harder now. I agree with you, JBern,about Israel,God is truly on their side. I have always liked Mike Rowe. He’s rich in “common sense”.Something that’s lacking in many today, especially in Washington,DC. Hope everyone has a very good year. Stay safe.
