The THOR is what many would consider a “budget” thermal optic. Sitting right around $1,950 “budget” is not a word that comes to mind when I see that price but it is one of the least expensive thermal optics available.

It’s not far enough above my night vision to justify, prices will have to come down for me…

Interesting thermal. His shot placement needs work though. He shouldn’t be move that much and taking that many shots at a such short distance. Especially with a bench rest. Thermal has advantages over NVD in that you don’t need an IR light. Which is good, when you don’t want a beacon for others using NVDs also.
