I travel quite a bit and use Google Maps almost exclusively. The main reason has been reliability. I like WAZE and sometimes run it tandem with Google Maps as well. I came across this video the other day and thought many of these features covered you may find useful.

Something else Google Maps can be used for…… bug-out routes. Going from Point A to Point B can often be accomplished via numerous twists and turns especially if trying to avoid certain areas. You can use Google Maps to generate a specific route – or several backup routes – and print out both the map and directions.

That’s valuable.
