Ram 1500 Warlock 4×4

I drive a 2019 Ram 1500 Warlock 4×4 as a daily driver. I absolutely love the truck. It will pull my cargo trailer(loaded with preparedness supplies) with no problem, is very comfortable, and is off-road capable. I’ve planned several things for the truck and will complete them as time and finances cooperate.

I have a Midland GMRS radio installed in the glove box. That’s good, however, I’ve not run the antenna yet. I’ve gotta get that done. Maine Prepper Girl drives a 4-door Jeep Wrangler and I have a matching radio for that vehicle as well. Need to get that installed and have the communication option for both vehicles to communicate. Project to complete next couple of weekends.

I’ve looked at getting an enclosed cab installed to increase the versatility of the pickup bed. My thinking is that I can store more supplies than what I currently have in my truck box. Beyond the additional supplies, I could use the additional shelter as an emergency camper. A few sheets, a sleeping bag, and a pillow would provide a bed.

I upgraded the tires shortly after I bought the Warlock. My frequent trips up to Maine told me that street tires in several inches – or feet – of snow would not be ideal. Now that I am in northern Kentucky all-terrain tires are a must.

I’d love to trade the Warlock in for a Ram 2500 diesel. Problem is truck prices are insane right now so what I have is what I’ll have for the time being. I have no plans for any major upgrades as I’m pretty happy with how it is now, but, I’ll document any upgrades I do here and pass the info along to you.
