I mentioned a few days ago that SP1 over on Youtube has made several videos on preparing for a potential nuclear war – or some type of nuclear emergency. Below are several of these videos. David does a great job presenting this valuable information. You can visit his channel here.
Thanks. I do not think I want to survive nuclear war.I have read about Chernobyl . Years ago there was a movie about the end of the world -anyone remember? I think it was called The Waterfront ? I do have the potassium iodide .I just re-stocked it as ours was Many years old and that I think is a basic good thing to use. Thanks for the reminder Rourke.
We are having a big snow storm- .I made a beef stew last night for today.Sorry for all of you in the south that are getting very cold temps with this polar plunge. Arlene
Arlene, I think the movie you are thinking about is On the Beach.
Disasterous times will call for extreme measures. Gain as much knowledge as you can and do your best to prepare for emergencies. Everyone wants to go to Heaven, just not this minute. If I can avoid the nuclear blast, I’m pretty sure I can make it. Tuff, but doable!
yep, was On the Beach, real downer.
I’m on Cape Cod, 10 miles from Pave Paws, one of two over the horizon radars, other is on West coast. I guess my immediate survival depends on the nuke size and how accurate Vladimir is. A small nuke on target might give me a chance, a big nuke or a few miles south and we’re history, never thought it might come to this when I moved here. I think Rourke is familiar with the area from some old days.
My bugout plan is a quick trip for us to FL family if one nuke goes off in Europe. I don’t think they’d nuke where they live. I’m going over a BOB list now. If the idiots running both sides step back after one nuke, I’ll come back to my hopefully intact house. Anyone have any other thoughts, please post.
Latest from my agricultural reports -good and accurate sources:
We are in for a world wide and US major shortage of wheat-so my advice is to stock up now on bread(freeze it) and crackers, flour etc. Many items have wheat as an ingredient.I have doubled bagged crackers and put them in a new bucket or trash can and they have lasted 3 years and tasted very fresh when used.
There is an avian flu that is rapidly spreading -up to 14 states right now.Mostly small flocks are being affected so I believe this was planted .
Usually it comes to us from China or the East but this is appearing here now .
.
Many flocks are being destroyed by the US Ag depts. once it is discovered so stock up on eggs and chicken also.
Here in upstate NY motor oil is very scarce and very expensive.
