Panhandle Rancher

It saddens me to announce that Panhandle Rancher has passed away. For those who may not know of him – he wrote numerous articles on my old website and shared his thoughts here as well. He was a frequent commenter at one time and added an incredible amount of knowledge and perspective. I had the honor of meeting him several years ago. We talked about life and his many experiences from childhood through adulthood. He had vast experiences in law enforcement through at least one three-letter agency and traveled the world keeping America safe. He was a loving husband, father – and a son of God. I have never met anyone who knew so much about….well, so much.

He will be missed by many and his passing is a great loss to this country and everyone in it who values liberty and freedom.

Here is some additional information that provides some insight into his life: https://www.legacy.com/amp/obituaries/batesville/200373889 [Thanks GG58]

I’m going to share some of his past writings over the next few weeks.

I spent a lot of time with PR over the last few years. I can’t say enough about him. Each us only knew snippets, and the more I learned about him, the more impressed I became. I good man, and a loss to the country as well as me personally. Here is something public he allowed to be printed, so I don’t think he woudl be offended if I shared it with you guys who knew him.

WowGG58! He certainly lead an interesting life. I enjoyed his postings too. He said what needed to be said in plain words, not all the frilly foo-foo stuff that so many use. May he rest in peace.

I too saw many of his excellent videos on a variety of topics. Sorry for your loss of a friend. His biography illustrates how a dedicated individual can accomplish more than a handful of people put together in one lifetime. Boundless energy and enthusiasm for life.

Wow I just read the OBit about Panhandle Rancher -Steve and I was truly amazed that one individual could have accomplished so much so well in one lifetime. When I had communicated with him’ he was very humble considering. He also was so very proud of his daughter being in medical school at the time-nice to see she became a Dr. Thanks for sharing that inf.
We now have an ally and angel helping us from the other side . Arlene

Thank you GG58 for sharing! After reading his obit all one can think is “WOW!!” We’ve all heard that ‘nearing the end of life’ question that goes something like “did I make a difference, did my life matter?”

When you get older you do realize that you usually don’t regret the things you did in your life, but the things you didn’t do. The word ‘IF’ can hang over you like a dark cloud, always preceded by a ‘what’ or followed by an ‘only’. I believe we can all safely assume that Panhandle Rancher didn’t suffer that. If any life deserves an exclamation point, it is certainly his…
