Something I have not spent enough time on is firearm utilization and maneuvering at night….in darkness. Living where I live it is much easier for me to practice. Another advantage of living in the woods.
In the Instagram post below, I shared a photo I took while moving around and in between vehicles while scanning and observing the area around me. Having defensive tools at the ready mounted with illumination is critical as far too many only train during the day.

For me there is no night. I have three Gen 3 NV systems. Two binocular and one monocular, All attach to my hands free headset. They all have built in IR emitters. The photos you posted remind me of when I used to be driving through the logging trails on our Ohio farm property, coming out after an evening hunt. I was driving an all wheel drive VW Vanagon Syncro which I lost in last years storm surge. 🙁 Anyway, if I turned on the running / parking lights it was like having high beams plus driving lamps on! I actually could see fine though will all lights extinguished. These devices have automatic kickdown which protects them from sudden light sources such as muzzle flash. Truly the way to go IMHO.
