I’ve discussed Telegram as a communications tool previously. It continues to rank up there as one of the most secure communication tools available. With many media platforms and accounts being taken down the ability for like-minded folks to network and communicate online has been challenging at best. Many of us who are Constitutionalists, freedom-loving, and support the 2nd Amendment are now being called “extremists” by our own government and expelled or censored from many social media platforms. Our ability to freely communicate remains but certainly diminished.
For some time I’ve had a Telegram Group where a small number of us get together daily and chat about current events, news, prepping, life, and sometimes what we’ve cooked for dinner. Should Gab, MeWe, and other means to “get together” disappear, Telegram should remain. It should be noted that Telegram was banned for two years in Russia as the government wanted access to user information, however, the owner refused.
I’ve also created a Telegram News & Information Broadcast Channel. As a member relevant news and information is sent daily. Relevant videos and preparedness-related downloads are also provided. This is one-way communication and an extension of this website. There is also a companion chat group that has the same news links shared, however, people can openly discuss and comment. It is a very secure method for me to send information directly to you. I do my best to vet the news articles to ensure they are not only relevant – but fact-based.
If interested in joining our small Telegram Chat Group – send me an email. I don’t want to publicize the link to join this private group. Email: emergencycd ( at ) gmail ( dot ) com.

I find it best to use the Telegram phone app.
What Is Telegram:
Telegram is a freeware, cross-platform, cloud-based instant messaging software and service. The application servers of Telegram are distributed worldwide to decrease data load, while the operations center is currently based in Dubai. Along with regular IM, the service has video calling, VoIP, file sharing, and other features.
No- it is not owned by Google, Facebook, or any other supergiant technological conglomerate. If you have any questions or issues joining up comment below and I’ll do what I can to assist.

It’s headquarters is Dubai? I think I’ll trust CNN or FOX before a foreign entity!
Good luck with that. I’ll continue to use an independent secure communications tool that isn’t under the influence of the US government. Telegram is not owned by any foreign entity. Holy shit.
You know… Telegram and one of it’s competitors have the same weaknesses and strengths. Ultimately any server based messaging system can be overcome, and users identified as well as messages read. Neither states that they give the content freely to any entity. Should we believe them? I won’t argue for either position. your risk and or gain so you decide.
Both provide the impression of moderate privacy in messaging. Both moderate “t3rroroism” and they define what that means and are subject to pressure by organizations.. since it requires the ability to do business and pay bills to continue.
The problem isn’t a technology problem, it’s a people problem. always has been.
