Is NOW The Time To Be Going Gray?

I’m beginning to see a mere glimmer of change. In areas across the country, there are people that are standing up for their rights and will not bow down to Antifa, BLM, and the like. They are ignoring the MSM’s claims of social morality. I’m seeing more stories of people defending themselves and their property. I’m seeing folks coming out to protests and proudly displaying the American flag that so many of the opposition love to hate. I’m seeing more and more stories of people on the Right challenging Liberal politicians and mounting movements to recall elected officials.
The recent “boat parades” in Texas, Florida, and South Carolina are an example of Patriotic Americans snubbing their nose at the status quo. Rather than staying at home shaking their heads at the ridiculous things shown in the media they are taking a stand.

We often talk of “going gray” to reduce our exposure to the opposition.  This is often done in an effort to eliminate oneself from becoming a target.  Not letting others know about our preps so they won’t try to take them when things get bad is a form of going gray. Many are doing that now from a political perspective especially on the Right. That can be smart under certain circumstances and conditions.
Should you hide your political beliefs?
Now? I don’t think so. Not yet. We have so much on the line and if we fail to influence others, spread the word of truth, freedom, and liberty – then who’s to blame if we fail? For decades the Left has had their marches, their protests – their movements. There is little doubt they have been highly successful with an agenda of indoctrination and influence.  They have taken the stance that THEY are up on the moral high ground and looked down upon we “deplorables” who reportedly fail to see their fight for equality and fairness for all.
Um…..Right.
The reality we all know to be true is when it comes to the moral high ground and what is right – we are on the RIGHT side of issues. This is absolutely clear. Crystal.
The country is declining fast. Talk of civil war is growing with each passing day. Rumors are flying that false flag events are likely to occur in an effort to distract, instill fear, and drive Americans to vote for change out of desperation. We need to stand tall and proud of what we believe.

I’ve never been one to post anything but the flag outside my house, but I was very pleased the other day to see that a large majority of the houses on my road have decorated their yards and fences with flags and Trump signs. I supposedly live in a Democratic stronghold, so this is encouraging.

It truly is a time to stand our ground. Push back. I’ve had enough of their shit and really don’t have any reason not to stand against them if and when they take militant action around here if they do. I’m single and even lost my dog back in March. If they make the mistake of opening up on me because of my Trump signs and the Trump flag I will bring hell on them.

Thank you. I agree, it’s not time to cave or go gray yet, but to Stand. Hopefully republicans will act fast and appoint a conservative justice. Trump-Pence will be reelected. We will get more control of the senate and gain control of the House. A pipe dream probably but if people will Stand – anything can happen. I do fear with conservative/libertarian successes this will bring revolution that hopefully will be dealt with by swift, decisive strength and power. Time will tell. The way 2020 has been going it’s anyone’s guess!?!? I know this I continue to pray for the best and prepare for the worst. Bullets, band aids, beans and more. Keep Looking Up

IMO, going “gray” is not caving to anything or anyone. That being said, I still prep, although differently than I did even 5 years ago. I have a “quiet peace” about where we are prep wise now; still need a new property/house. Divesting myself of things I have a “surplus” of so I can cancel more debt and get a couple of major items I think we still need.

Just opened your email and the first thing I noticed was you spelled “Ronald Regan’s” name wrong. It is Ronald Reagan. Sorry I cannot place any trust in your site because of that!

In the mountains, we all know that each of us is armed to some extent. We stay off each other’s property unless its on business and always make a bee line to the main door or person(s) on property, announcing our arrival. Good way to get shot if you don’t. Going down to the cities, which I have to do due to work, is eye opening. We were even told the other day that balaclavas may not be suitable anymore due to gov’t concerns and that no matter our political, ideology standings, etc we were to comply with customer mandates on face coverings. Its a running joke that’s wearisome at best, and find complying harder and harder. (Just a few more years till retirement, in which me n the missus will be way up in the hinterlands)
I was at HD and a young man w/o a mask ( I did have my balaclava on) was intently looking at me. I noticed and said howdy how’s it going to which he replied, sick of the damn masks, to which I replied absolutely but better to blend in for now. There’ll be a time and place to stand. He looked at me quizzically for a second or two, then smiled. Yes sir there will be he said and walked away.
Even with the gov’t sites I visit, its become a running joke for Nov 3, whether the virus will become doomsday like or if it will die away.
Wish I was better at being gray, beside whats in my beard and hair. Having to read the situational positions and blending or not. But I believe there’ll be time when everyone will know the true meaning of F.E.A.R — Forget Everything And Run / Face Everything And Rise.
    Stay alert, be ready

Been thinking about this one, and whatever commentary might be of value, or not.. you judge.
Everyone has Confirmation Bias and Normalcy Bias to one degree or another. Of course some are much more dedicated it than others.. Just like anything else there are the extremes, and outliers, and those seem to be where we (people in general, not this specific community BTW), place a great deal of emphasis. Then we categorize everyone in that group as though they share all the traits of the extremists and outliers. i.e. (Confirmation Bias). That isn’t true, but it is how we behave and react. I think it is this the media capitalizes on to manipulate us. Which is odd since they can only push the middle “large group”, majority, (or sheep) and not the extremists. We of course are individuals.. a conundrum.
Bare with me.. That said, let me ask a question, whom should we push back on ? I expect our answers would be as individualistic, since we do not have a hive mind.

It has been so long since we have had top us back, we don’t have any practice at it. We have been taught to, turn the other cheek, from the earliest age. That the needs of the many supersede the needs of the few.. Most of our religions and “free” governments are based on the premise. Combine that with the great desire to not HAVE to push back, and we go to great lengths at times to ensure that. Normalcy Bias.. “It has never happened, so it can’t, or won’t” Ridiculous of course, but the psychology is sound.
Social change is a pressure cooker, with the heat all the way up, and the vent glue shut. The pressure eventually HAS to go some where, and it does; all at once in a destructively energetic way.
Social change is a misnomer as it is being used..
The “intended” change isn’t social. it’s fundamental, with the intent to end the “American Experiment”
    prepare deliberately
