Jeremiah Johnson is my Favorite
Another for Macgyver!!!
Red Dawn has always been my favorite. – Keep Looking UP
Was just thinking about the difference in my perspective on this film…. from the first time i viewed it when it came out, to a recent viewing a couple weeks back. Total fiction to an ache in my heart at the thought that parts/all could be a reality in the near future. How many of us actually have the mentality to endure a protracted”new normal”that includes hardship(expected and understood) as well as much death and emotional/mental pain(mostly not experienced by the average joe.)REALLY like this one too JBernDrApt….
The Grey
Alone in the Wilderness.
Another Macgyver!
Walking Dead is my favorite TV series.
Another Red Dawn fan here (the original, not the remake!)
The road. . No zombies or AR 15’s just really highlights the realities of a bleak future and day to day fear and survival. Hard enough to watch as i now have young kids. Good equipment like above flashlight will be worth their weight in gold.
+1 for The Road
Jericho
FEAR THE WALKING DEAD
The Day After
Animal planet, because while in Houston, helping out with the flooding, they filmed me working with the Red Cross.
Jericho
Is anyone having trouble getting flashlights or batteries from Gearbest?
Not here. Batteries especially can take a few weeks. If you wait longer than 28 days shoot me an email with your information. I have a good contact there and can probably help you out.
I actually tried to order a couple of power banks and the Convoy flashlight and it wouldn’t let me check out. I did a live chat and they told me it had something to do with what I was ordering and where I live. Very strange. By the way, my vote goes to “Alive”.
Panic in the year zero
The Survivalist series by A. American
The mini-movie “Amerika” back in the ’80’s…
Panic in the year zero
TV Series – Revolution
More light is always good, sign me up please
i will probably take flack for this but here goes…..Fat Guys in the Woods……here’s why-it is a good thought/conversation starter for those not in the prepping camp yet. Anything that can start the process is a great asset….AND i do feel the mental component Creek promotes is often lacking in the conversations i see.
Jericho
I’m going to go with The Day.
that movie gave me the chills, had a hard time sleeping for a couple of nights and made me reinforce the fact to carry extra ammo, food and a longarm when traveling by car.
Jericho!
Okay. This is going to be rhetoric and predictable, but it’s what started all for me.
The Original. “Red Dawn”.
I had my Grandfather give me his old WW2 military issued back pack, filled it with supplies, and then put in my closet. I was always keeping it up to date. Until I actually went into the military myself.
Jericho, hands down favorite
The Book Of Eli
There are a lot to chose from, and scrolling through the comments I see I have some more to watch. For now though I’m going to go with The Day After Tomorrow myself.
John I’ve been trying to buy one of these L6 3800 lumen lights for days, gear best keeps screwing me around with error codes. The latest is they say there’s no such product. Can you give me a little assistance.
I dodon’t know how they can stay in business with lack of service like this.
I’d really like one of these flashlights, so I would appreciate any help.
Check your email…have sent you a follow up.
I received the Flashlight Friday, I’ve ordered batteries, I can’t wait to see how it works.
Thanks John
