I was recently checking out the Top Prepper Sites and seeing what other preparedness-related internet portals are doing. I was disappointed to see that many that have been around for a long time have closed up shop and no longer exist.
I’d have to admit that video and flashy social media platforms are what is getting the majority of traffic today. I’ve mentioned previously that I was to change the look of 1776PatriotUSA.com and update it a bit. It will happen. Typically in the past when I’ve made major changes on a website, I do it over a weekend or long holiday break. I’ll start transitioning 1776 to update the looks and please bear with me as it will most likely take a few weeks.

The garden continues to grow and do well. Zucchini is certainly the largest crop we have harvested so far. We are getting far more than we can possibly consume so MPG is finding unique ways to preserve zucchini.
We have chopped up several, vacuum-sealed sealed, and then froze them for use over the coming months.
Yes – this might sound a bit crazy, but, one method of preserving zucchini is canning it in pineapple juice. Regular raw zucchini doesn’t have a ton of taste so this should infuse it with powerful pineapple!!
Anyone have any recommendations on preserving zucchini?

Regardless of the exact cause of the dramatic weather we have had over the last several years it is happening. It’s something we all need to be aware of and prepare accordingly.

A few thoughts I recorded right after the Trump-Biden debate. Not much has changed in my opinion since. The fact that so many have not only covered up Biden’s decline but continue to back him shows the sheer evil that exists within the government.
If you are unaware we have a survival & preparedness store here on this website. We carry a variety of unique and budget-friendly items and everything ships for free in the USA.
Bringing this up in case we have some new visitors as well as mentioning to check back often as several new products will be added soon. I’ll let everyone know when they drop.

I found this website https://zucchinizone.com/ has so many ways to make zucchini. Check it out.
That’s perfect Veronica. Thanks so much!
You can make zucchini fruit chews flavored with either fruit juice or kool-aid. You can make cinnamon-zucchini pickles. You can make zucchini relish. You can dry long strips of zucchini to dry as a noodle replacement. You can grate zucchini and freeze it in one cup measures to use for zucchini muffins.
Wow! I have not heard of most of those. I’ll look up some recipes. Thanks!
Good for y’all! A couple of years ago I canned shredded zucchini in pineapple juice then used it to make zucchini bread, it was the best zucchini bread I’ve ever made! I’m not a cucumber fan but love pickles so I make bread and butter zucchini and squash pickles.
Happy 4th!
my DW and I have been canning ours in mason jars and water ( we have good water) for 30 yrs now. 10 lbs pressure, and some citric acid for 45 minutes. we love our All American canner. best money i ever spent outside of the wife. 🙂
we take them out, batter them in flower and fry them. or make a casserole with some fresh onions and cheese. the yellow, and zucchinis always taste garden fresh to us even after two years in jars. we have been canning as much as possible for years now, it’s not dependent on electricity to keep.
best of luck with the garden
That sounds awesome scout! We picked up an All American canner last summer and haven’t used it yet. Soon though. I picked up an old one brand new never used for like $90. A fantastic deal. I’ve used a pressure canner(been a while) and Kass(Maine Prepper Girl) never has. We will learn together.
On line, there is a recipe for “Mom’s Zucchini Muffins”, It calls for two cups of grated zucchini. I usually use 2 1/4. I grate some extra, make sure I drain it and freeze it, pre-measured. You can also make fritters with it, adding eggs. Play around with it to get your taste preference. I use onion, herbs and garlic, along with eggs. I make extra a and freeze them. My grandson’s other grandmother uses pineapple pieces in her muffins. He said that they are very good and moist, then quickly added that mine were as well (good boy). Sounds like a good thing to try. Going to try canning the slices! We need lots of variety for what is to come.
That sounds really good Abigayle. The chocolate cip zucchini bread that Kass made was so good. She’s going to freeze some of the zucchinis we have now so we will have some this Fall.
