Preparedness Intelligence: For those of us that believe we have a better than average chance of finding ourselves in a “SHTF” – whatever that means – consider the incredible opportunity we have RIGHT NOW.  Here’s an exercise –

Go sit in your favorite chair, lay on the couch – or throw a pillow behind your head in bed. Think of your own vision of SHTF. Consider the living conditions. Consider the daily tasks that will have to be completed. Consider your current inventory of items – food, water, power, batteries, etc. How long will they last? How will you feel as you see your supplies diminish? Will you be able to source more? What will the results be should you run out of some of these supplies? What items had you not thought of before?

Consider boosting your inventories and adding those maybe you thought of but do not have enough of or at all.

Before purchasing a free Kindle book on Amazon make certain the book is still free by making sure the price is $0.00. If it lists a price or says “read for free” or has a price for prime members the book is not free anymore.

It takes no special skills to obtain a weapons and ammunition though you should put in time to become proficient, comfortable, and safe handling them.
The real skills that everyone should be concerned with mastering is growing their own food. It can be done on any level from growing container’s of food on porches, on balconies of a condo, or in a windowsill. I’m fortunate to own a home and have a garden in which I have grown most of my veggies for the last 29 years. I eat from that garden every day. I have recently begun to turn the rest of the property into an edible landscape with fruit trees and edible shrubs. I can’t think of any goal that should be higher on your list then trying to be self sufficient in producing your own food and if you can afford it, your electricity as well. I built a large solar power system in 2010 when it was still very expensive. The prices have come way way down since then. Solar power is a very smart move at this time.

Capt Turbo= we also have solar.Did you go battery or just regular? We have the regular and it saves us a lot of money as well as having saved thousands of tons of carbon use.
I agree we also have put in fruit bushes and orchard trees and have had an organic garden for years- and back up our supplies with freeze dried and dehydrated-but none of us ever will have enough for just in case.
Every persons needs are different so Rourke thats a good exercise.
I add try living very similarly to what it would be like to have bare essentials and no power etc for a week and that will show you what you need.
What does everyone think will happen with Iran ? I say call Israel and
