    Far too many people get into too many details about too many things within the preparedness realm of thinking. Yeah. People exclaim you MUST have THIS gun, THIS knife, THIS radio, THIS food, THIS red dot. If you don’t follow these “expert” tips then you might as well put a bullet in your head as you have no chance of survival.

    I call BS on that.

    After Trump was elected I had a brief moment when I thought change could really happen. I thought this country might really get turned around. Well, change is occurring – but is it for the better? I’m not talking about what Trump wants to do rather what the rest of government and media will allow him to do. There is an absolute war against true change in Washington like I have never seen.

    The mainstream media, majority of government, and Hollywood have launched a relentless publicity attack against anything and everything related to Trump. The reality is the more lies are told and pounded into the heads of the American public the more the lie will appear to be the truth. That, my friends, is all it takes.

    Those – like me – that breathed a sigh of relief when Trump was elected had reason to do so but the overwhelming negativity is going to be hard to overcome in 2020. The lies, hypocrisy, and corruption preventing the “draining of the swamp” goes directly in line with the beginning stages of the American Reformation. When the President cannot request higher levels of vetting for those entering the United States due to the courts claiming racism or religious targeting.

When statements made by a candidate for President are used to “infer” meaning into a law or Executive Order rather than basing examination on what the law/EA actually states – we have evidence of the “Loyalist” agenda.

    For far too many American’s “truth” is not a factor when developing their opinions. The appearance of truth is all that matters to them and what is deemed popular. The country is lost.

    The canceling of the TV show “Last Man Standing” is nothing more than Liberal bias within the entertainment community. One of my favorite shows I highly recommend it. The main character is extremely Conservative and often brings out the ridiculous nature of Liberal logic.

    North Korea’s latest missile launch likely has Putin thinking of making the country one big parking lot. The missile launched Sunday landed within 60 miles of the Russian coast. This particular missile flew at an altitude of 1,245 miles – very high. Although the total distance of the test was around 450 miles if the missile had flown a lower trajectory it is possible the distance reached would have been around 3,700 miles. If that is factual the missile would be ranked within the “intercontinental” category.

    North Korea is also stating of this seemingly technological breakthrough that they have now proven they have a missile capable of carrying a large nuclear warhead.

    I have recently come across some information related to EMP, North Korea, and past nuclear tests. Nothing top secret but the information I had never heard before and for me – provides reason for concern. I have to write it up and provide links to the research so hopefully this coming Sunday night I will publish it.

    I’ve just recently re-joined a local gym and need to get back to working out. The yo-yo, roller coaster ride of working out – and then not – is pathetic and I am extremely disappointed in myself. I’m pissed really.  I was killing it at Crossfit just a couple years ago and in the best shape of my life – then a combination of nagging injuries, being burned out – and laziness did me in. I have got to break out of this rut.

    Often overlooked and rarely mentioned prep is the fire extinguisher. I have 5 fire extinguisher throughout my house and have trained both kids and the wife how to use them. How? Gasoline in the firepit each took a turn aiming at the base of the flames and a quick squirt and the flame was gone. Good practice.

    Antifa, Domestic Terrorism, and What Should We Do?

    Rourke: Amoungst many preparedness and Conservative websites “Antifa” and their extremist, militant views are a frequent topic. The following was originally published over at TomBinnz.com and published here with permission. Feel free to share your thoughts.

    I’ve seen much talk about labeling Antifa a domestic terrorist organization. While I agree, that they in fact by definition are, what would the consequences of this be?

    Antifa’s stance is that Trump, and the right, in general, are fascist overlords hell bent on the destruction of freedom within the United States. Their tactics are that of fear and suppression through the use of force, but this is only part of their modus operandi. Their ultimate goal is to prove to the people that Trump is a fascist dictator. In labeling them a domestic terrorist group and treating them as such, ultimately you only strengthen their argument. Yes, we know that in fact none of what they say is true, but those in the middle of the road may not. By striking down the full power of the state upon them, you only give validity to their argument, which in turn may move some of the outliers over to their side.

    This was a tactic used with devastating precision by Samuel Adams in the lead up to the Revolutionary War. Samuel Adams wrote extensively on the tyrannical nature of the British Crown, but he didn’t stop there. At every turn, he and The Sons of Liberty baited the British into exercising their power, and in turn used that exercise of force as an example to back up his original claim. Whether or not they are fully aware of this themselves, this is the tactic Antifa is using.

    While I’ll be the first to concur that we cannot let renegade hordes of leftist burn down cities, we must be tacticians in our overall response. We must understand the enemy. We must understand their tactics and what their end game is. We must not fall into their trap, we must outwit them. We cannot afford to give them leverage.

    Antifa is using a classic tactic used throughout history to drive public opinion against those in power, our responses must be leveraged with that knowledge taken into consideration. We must do something, but our decision must be made with the full knowledge of their motives. Federal interference may ultimately play exactly into their hand.

    The method I see as working the best is the culture war. Unmask then, make fun of them, discredit them. And when they are violent, meet them with citizen groups like those in Berkeley. This way you take them down without using the State and subsequently giving validity to their argument.

    Spent time last night testing some new communications equipment. I’ve been trying to set up a communications system for quite some time that would allow possibly up to 20 miles in this immediate area. Numerous issues have lead to frustration however with the help of Patriot Believer I am making some headway.

    Once all testing is complete I’ll post more details. The most recent test had my son atop a downtown parking garage with Tram Browning BR-6353 Yagi Directional Antenna attached to a TYT MD-380 5 Watt Ham Radio.  I had another TYT radio with an Air 802 Magnetic Mount Antenna on top of my wife’s Jeep Cherokee. From all the testing and frustration I have had previously what a change! I drove out 10 miles and received crystal clear reception. My transmission was good but had moments of difficulty.  Remember – my son had a directional antenna and I had to estimate the direction to tell him where to point it. It worked well however even larger success could be had with better planning. I need to verify locations and angles via maps and compass.

    More testing to be worked on next few days.

    Can you tell my readers a bit about yourself and your background?

    I am Amy Alton, ARNP, MSN, CNM. I attended a 4-year Barry University nursing school for my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, then the University of Miami for my Master’s Degree in Nursing with a dual degree as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Nurse Midwife. I grew up early in rural Georgia with a veteran father who taught me to be tough and have a heightened situational awareness. We went camping, hiking, biking, motorcycling, shooting and traveled. My family was frugal and we saved money by gardening, canning, and shopping at local farms.

     

    What motivated your interest in preparedness?

    My father’s Air Force tour gave him amazing skills. He passed the “be prepared” mindset onto me, so from early childhood, I felt this was just the normal thing to do.

    Joe and I began to ramp up our preps after Hurricane Andrew, and even more after Hurricane Katrina. Plus the flu pandemic scare in 2009 made us think even more globally about the possibility of millions dead, and the massive effect that would have on life as we know it.

     

    Is there something – some events or situation – that you are specifically preparing for?

    The two for me would be Hurricanes and a serious pandemic that is easily transmitted and has a high death rate. Hurricanes I can see coming and get out of dodge if need be. A pandemic could start without much press and spread rapidly with today’s travel options. By the time we realize exactly what is happening, it could be too late to contain it. Sheltering in place may be the only option for a grand majority of folks.

     

    What significance does politics play when it comes to preparedness?

    I have met many thousands of folks since 2010 when Joe and I began this teaching medical survival adventure. I’d have to say, that almost all, but not quite 100% were conservative up until this election. There is a new group of folks who are starting to become prepared now that we have a new president. They are seriously worried about economic collapse and/or war with any number of countries around the world.

    I’m happy to see more people become prepared for anything, but I don’t want them to live in fear. Fear is paralyzing. A positive outlook, but being ready just in case will go a long way in living a happier life here and now.

     

    What level of importance do you place on firearms when it comes to preparedness?

    Well, since I grew up with firearms and was taught very early how to shoot and all about gun safety, I feel very strongly about the need for everyone to own one. Get training with a professional and learn everything there is to know about gun safety. When we get a new type of personal protection gear, we train. Find a trainer who speaks calmly and knows their stuff. Remember, you don’t need to be yelled at to learn. That training is for very advanced students and professionals in high-stress situations. Early learners need to take it slow.

     

    Are there any particular items you consider “must haves” for a survival/bug out/get home kit?

    Water filter and water purification tablets, multi-tool, flashlight with strike bezel, a defensive knife or this knife, mini first aid kit, good socks and boots (on your feet), lightweight small tent, paracord, duct tape, MREs and protein bars, honey packets, mini camping cookware, firestarter with compass and whistle , thick poncho , wet naps or diaper wipes, tissue paper, mini bar of soap, travel size toothbrush/toothpaste (dental hygiene is still important!), AM/FM solar/battery/Crank charge Radio, leather gloves, hat, sunscreen.

    As much as you can carry, depending on your fitness and age!

     

    Any advice to those on a budget who are trying to prepare?

    First, decide what you are preparing for, understand the scenarios that could occur and the consequences of each scenario. Make a list of everything you would want to have, and then prioritize. Begin purchasing based on your monthly budget. Do not overspend. Your biggest tragedy could be serious credit card debt!

    Look at bulk stores for deals on your supplies if you have space. Dollar stores or discount stores carry basic items that work just as well as more expensive brand name items. Do you really care about the name on your hand sanitizer? Couponing is a great way to save money and it’s fun too! There are Facebook groups that share ideas for couponing.

     

    What do you consider to be the Top 5 survival & preparedness categories in order of importance?

    Water, food, shelter, warmth (fire) and proper clothing, first aid, and personal protection gear. I know that is 6, but I can’t leave out personal protection.

     

    Care you give a prediction on what the next 5 years will look like?

    I’m an optimist, but I see even more turmoil in the world ahead. There are some seriously crazy leaders with giant egos and war supplies (you can name them I’m sure). What can we do? As much as we try to solve all the problems in the world, we just can’t, it’s too much. Unfortunately, when we do try, sometimes things get even worse. A rock and a hard place.

    An unknown issue, which I still worry about, is a deadly easily transmitted illness. Viruses and bacteria mutate. Will a change in either of these start a domino effect in the world of nearly unstoppable proportions? I hope not, but I really think one day we will have one (again). Imagine the spread of another Black Plague or Spanish Flu event with planes, trains, subways, and cars.

     

    Any special advice you would give to women prepper’s out there? 

    Be strong and prepare to protect your family. If you garner skills, no one can take that away from you. You can learn anything you put your mind too. We are the stronger sex.

    If your partner is the one seriously prepping and you don’t understand, go on a camping trip with him (and the family too). It is amazing how camping bonds people against the elements and dangers lurking around the corner. You just might understand his need to prep after that trip. Don’t bring the luxuries with you though; go with just basic gear if you can. You will be proud of yourself when you return!

    Although gun control efforts with the current Congressional makeup would go nowhere the desire from the anti-gun crowd remains. Reports of gangs in Chicago using assault rifles will only add fuel to the fire. This past Sunday 10 people were shot by 2 men armed with assault rifles.

    Had a pretty good weekend. Started writing an American Reformation scenario post to publish today and it got out of hand. What started as a short “what if” has turned into a “chapter”. Hope to finish it soon.

    Just read an article discussing movements within multiple states to succeed from the Union. These states include California, Texas, Oklahoma, Maine, Utah, West Virginia, and New York’s Long Island. All for various reasons and with different levels of popularity there is an upward trend of interest.

    From the “This is Complete Insanity” Files: A Middle School boy was suspended for 10 days for “liking” a picture of a gun on Instagram. Seriously. Not kidding. After meeting with the parents – and getting some negative publicity – the school canceled the suspension. Unbelievable.

    ACA replacement breakdown per NYTimes:
    -Individual Mandate replaced with 30 percent surcharge on premiums if uninsured for more than 63 days
    -Employer Mandate removed
    -Out-of-pocket subsidies to be repealed in 2020
    -Taxes on high incomes, prescription drugs, medical devices to be rolled back
    -Medicaid expansion won’t change unless you only become eligible after 2020. States may impose work requirements for Medicaid recipients.
    -Pre-existing conditions can charge higher prices for those who had a 63-day lapse in coverage. $8 billion set aside to help offset costs for people with pre-existing conditions
    -Essential health benefits are now mandated on a per-state basis instead of federal
    -Older Americans can be charged up to five times (up from three) more than younger Americans, but states have the option to increase cap further
    -Premium subsidies now according to age, not income and location
    -Health spending accounts maximum increase
    -Dependents under age 26 still covered (no change)
    -Prohibitions on annual and lifetime limits remain in effect (no change)

    No longer will people be forced to purchase insurance if they don’t want it, and pre-existing conditions can still get coverage (at a higher cost since they’re a higher risk of filing a claim), with assistance from fed to offset the higher cost.

    Nowhere do I see anything about people losing their current coverage.

    Ironically, this is much more likely to fall under “if you like your coverage you can keep your coverage” and “if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor”.

    Republican’s will once again attempt to repeal and replace ObamaCare. The vote is reported to take place today. Democrat leadership is stating that should the bill pass – millions will lose health insurance, children will die, and grandma will get run over by a reindeer.

    I have finally figured out how we will all know when the fit hits the shan: I go fill out an official government document and when choosing gender the choices are MALE, FEMALE, or “non-binary, intersex, transsexual, genderfluid aardvark”.

    Couldn’t get to the “From the Desk of….” post yesterday. More had to be done than allotted time would allow thus prioritizing had to take place.

    Not thrilled with then efforts to “drain the swamp” thus far. Certainly better than if HC had been elected.  The most recent budget contained numerous spending initiatives which allowed Democrats to claim victory. With this single event combined with a major division in the Republican party, future budgets will continue to NOT be representative of the fiscal responsibility most of us were hoping for.

    Garden is almost completely planted. We had torrential downpours last week which helped but was concerned too much water would create issues. Supposed to get rain today then clear up. Trying several types of tomato’s and pepper’s this year along with cucumbers, yellow squash, and zucchini. Wifey planted some herbs as well. Eggplants so far look like they need to be put out of their misery.

    My 18-year-old isn’t going to graduate high school on time. What a struggle it has been dealing with him and school. He has zero motivation to get his work done and will have to either attend summer school or go back in the Fall. I try not to stress out about it but it is difficult. I try to remind myself he is a good kid and has a very kind heart.

    What happened to the eight-year old that looked at me like his best buddy and thought I was the smartest man in the world?

    North Korea continues to stay in the news. By all accounts China seems to be seriously assisting with the situation. Regardless, we have a nutcase threatening all of us so to be completely dismissive would be an ill-conceived approach at best.

    I received an email from the Nuclear Threat Initiative. They have put together a downloadable spreadsheet/database with information on North Korea’s nuclear initiatives. It is totally free.

    The world continues to be more volatile, more violent, and continuously suspect.

    The Preparedness Industry as a whole continues to shrink. Many companies that carry food storage and other preparedness supplies have seen major drops in sales. The election convinced many that everything will be just fine. Reading the headlines from most any news website should certainly convince many that relaxing is not the direction to go.

    Interesting is while many Conservative preppers have calmed down their efforts there has been a surge in the Liberal population to get ready for the Trumpapocalypse….apparently.

    Protein is often an expensive component in food storage programs. Freeze dried meat can be upwards of $30 – $50 for a #10 can. Canned meat like ham is a good option and they will keep for many years. While rice and beans combined may make a complete dietary protein  – it’s not the same.

    Local grocery store had some canned chicken on sale. Good price. Picked up the limited and will be going back tomorrow.

    COMMUNITY INTELLIGENCE:  Big subject for the little amount of space here. A topic I rarely see discussed and I’m no expert but certainly have given it a lot of thought. Civil unrest for whatever reason breaks out in your community or nearby area. What do you really know about your area?

    How many gangs are present?

    Where are they typically located?

    How many break-ins have occurred within a 10 mile radius of your home in the last year? Five years? Is there an upward trend? How about within 1 mile?

    How many police officers – city and county – are employed? How many are on duty at any given time?

    Where is the nearest National Guard unit to your area?

    Is the local Sheriff a Republican or Democrat? Where do they stand on gun control?

    What is the ratio of white, black, and latino in your area? It matters.

    Do you have a scanner – or at least a scanner app – that will pick up local police, fire and rescue activities?

    Anyone remember the “missile” that was rumored to be fired from a submarine off the coast of California several years ago? Many experts on both sides of the story claim it is a missile while others believe it is an airliner taking off and the appearance is created due to an optical illusion.

    At the time tensions with China were on the rise and some theorized that a Chinese sub shot the missile off to show that they were able to get close to the coast.

    Likely it was a plane. Why am I bringing this up? Just feel like it.

    The United States continues its preparations for a possible conflict with North Korea. A THAAD anti-missile defense system was deployed in South Korea. Kim Jong Un supervised the largest live-fire drill in North Korean history on Wednesday.

    Although I generally prefer more “modern” survival strategies I am getting more into primitive fire starting. Several types of Ferro rods in now sit on my shelf including two 1/2″ x 6″ rods. These things are beasts and create a brilliant shower of sparks when a tool sharpener is used. Going to do a write up on them shortly.

    My “Lightweight AR” project has begun. Just ordered a lightweight, non-polymer stripped lower. More information to come as funds become available. I need a pencil barrel budget-friendly upper. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.

    I’ve found I have an infatuation with power packs – almost as bad as with flashlights. I have numerous backup power packs of different sizes. Mostly these are used for cell phone and tablet charging. Once in a while, I plug in one of my rechargeable flashlights to one of them.

    I’ve had good luck with this battery power bank. I have two of them and they have stood up to a lot of use.

    Spent some time outdoors this past weekend working in the garden and yard. Really want to enjoy the outdoors a lot more this summer. Kayaking, hiking, backpacking, fishing, and exercising.

    Have more to do in the garden. Last year I lost everything after a severe storm rolled through and flooded all the top soil out. I’ve divided the garden in half with raised beds on one side – and regular on the other. So far things are growing well. A combination of seeds and purchased transplants have been used and more need to be put in the ground. Recent rains have really helped. I water out of two rain barrels as much as possible.

    I’m surprised. A Washington Post poll shows that if the election was held today Trump would still win. With all the Fake News and the stumbling that his administration has been involved with, I figured it would not have worked out that way.

    Will there be a government shutdown this week? I would care less except for the politics involved in it. The MSM will use it to feed their agenda – regardless of what the truth is.

    Trump wants funding for “the Wall” included in the next budget. Would love to see it.

    I mentioned the other day that there are often supplies that we fail to stock up on because although useful – they are just not fun and exciting. Books often sit in this category.     Prepper Discipline: Sometimes when looking at a preparedness system and current inventory you realize that you need to stock up on “X” and “Y”. Then you think to yourself, “Self – it would be great to have X and Y if something happens but I really would rather go buy Z.”

    It has happened to me numerous times where I want to go buy a new gun but the reality is I need more “boring” food. We all need the discipline to make the right decisions rather than always the fun ones.

    Trump signed the “Buy American, Hire American” Executive Order on Tuesday. This order works to reduce the number of guest worker visas and require GOVERNMENT agencies to purchase American-made products and hire Americans – whenever possible.

    I have little disagreement with what I have seen so far. Critics state that this goes against capitalism and free market by reducing competition. I would suggest that paying foreign workers pennies on the dollar reduces competition and creates unfair and unrealistic competition.

    I just watched a movie called “Good Kill” on Netflix. Thought it was very good. Stars Ethan Hawke who I am not the biggest fan of but he did a great job. The movie is related to remote drone pilots and the moral struggles they endure.

    This post was originally published March 14th, 2016.

    January 13th, 1982: Air Florida Flight 90 crashed into the Potomac River. Only six of the 74 passengers survived the crash and ended up in the icy water. While a helicopter was able to come in and snatch four of the 6 passengers one disappeared under the water while another – Priscilla Tirado – helplessly struggled in the 33 degree water.  Unable to hold on to the rope lowered by the helicopter she began to drown. A bystander who witnessed the crash while he was walking home could not take it any longer. He could not stand there and watch this women drown. He removed his coat and jumped in the water. He swam over to her as she laid just under the water, grabbed her – and pulled her to the bank.

    He saved her life.

    This is the epitome of the Sheepdog.

    Not everyone can jump into action and put themselves into harm’s way. Not everyone can be a Sheepdog. Can it be learned or developed? Probably. People are just wired in different ways.

    I have had several situations where things were happening nearby and I could not just sit back and not get involved. Sometimes it was preventing someone from getting hurt. Sometimes it was standing up for someone. Sometimes it was helping someone who was already hurt. Risk evaluation has to be done but sometimes there just isn’t any time.

    Saturday evening I was walking through uptown Charlotte, NC with a friend. Walking down the sidewalk along the busy street I came towards a metal bench. I wasn’t looking at it rather just walking with my friend talking. In an instant, I saw a child run around from the front of the bench to the back of it and then straight towards the busy car filled street. I didn’t think about it I just moved. I ran and grabbed the kid – about 2 years old – just inches from the street. Did I save the kids life? I don’t know. The father noticed the kid as well and put his hand out in front of the child right at the same time I got to him.

    My heart was pounding in my chest. My buddy said he didn’t see anything and just saw me take off. Some big, muscular guy said his heart was racing because he thought the kid was going to get hit. I almost said it but didn’t – “Why did you just stand there?”

    The answer to that question is not everyone reacts the same nor has the capability to react the same.

    As for me – I will continue to mind my own business until it’s time NOT to mind my own business.

    I’ve been watching the TV series Life Below Zero on Netflix. I’d say these people are nuts for living out in the wilderness and the fridged temps of the arctic – but man what a life! Several of the show’s participants trap and make money selling pelts. I do wonder about the others. How so they make money? They have to buy fuel, some food, fuel, Some have very nice solar setups that are not cheap. Maybe I missed something.

    DEAL ALERT: Just received notice that Amazon has their 7″ Fire tablet on sale for $39.99. This is a heck of a deal. I have found the Fire tablet to be perfect for creating a survival & preparedness library. The Fire HD 8″ tablet is on sale as well. Would like to get one fo those with the larger screen.

    The journey to expand my online presence and business is not without obstacles. I received some unfortunate information from fellow blogger Todd who owns PrepperWebsite.com. Amazon changed their policy a few years ago and placed severe limits on promoting free ebooks. As crazy as it sounds Amazon affiliate’s – which I am one – get penalized if they promote too many free ebooks. I should have been aware of this and performed the necessary research.

    FreePrepperEbooks.com still launched this morning and the only likely change that may take place is limiting how frequently I post. Rather than Monday thru Friday I may do Monday – Wednesday – Friday.

    The political division continues as Democrats will support NOTHING that Republicans bring forward and Republicans – for the most part – will support NOTHING the Democrats bring forward. This is insanity and I really don’t see it changing. A perfect example of this is Supreme Court nominee Judge Neil Gorsuch. If there was a nominee brought forward by a Republican President that Democrats should be able to get behind it’s Gorsuch.

    Interesting is in 2006 when Judge Gorsuch was confirmed to the 10th Circuit US Court of Appeals he was widely supported by Democrats including many still in Congress today.

    Not to beat a dead horse but to continue the discussion from yesterday regarding the armed Communist/Liberal/Progressive/Americans marching in Phoenix – were they carrying real guns?

    I’ve seen numerous websites and FB groups try to say they were carrying airsoft guns. Did some of them carry airsoft? Sure – it’s possible. Does it really matter? Not to me. I really don’t get the need to disprove these folks in some way. I suspect it is out of fear or not wanting to deal with reality.  z1queenie mentioned that someone on FB suggested the women with the red scarf was reportedly carrying airsoft.

    Here – you be the judge:

    Again – the important aspect of this story is it is just a piece of a very large puzzle that when those pieces are put together is forms one ugly picture.

    A group of armed men and women marched at the state Capitol in Phoenix, Arizona. They open carried an assortment of AK-47’s, AR’s, shotguns, and other firearms. While this is not a common occurrence what makes the event particularly newsworthy is that those with the weapons are Liberals. Yes – they were all members of a political party that generally supports gun control.

    To make a long story short a reporter at one point followed them and tried to engage in conversation. Once they stated they did not want to be interviewed the reporter pretty much turned into an assclown and tried to antagonize them. The reporter was pretty much a jerk and the armed group did a good job keeping their composure.

    The true story here has nothing to do with the reporter rather the group’s presence – and their agenda. The group was made up of several anti-Trump factions including the Arizona Brown Berets, Anti-Fascist Action Phoenix, and the Phoenix John Brown Gun Club.

    These groups are all supportive of the Redneck Revolt movement. Redneck Revolt is a racist pro-white movement that is anti-military and anti-capitalism – thus they have much inline with Liberals and Progressives. Their existence leads credence to the suggestion that the division in this country is growing. For those that believe we are on a path to civil war evidence is seeing an armed, anti-Trump, anti-capitalism, and anti-military movement with members marching on a state Capitol.

    A bunch of snowflakes needing safe spaces? 

    I don’t think so.

    It’s almost hilarious how the MSM is labeling the defeat of the Healthcare Bill as a giant failure for Donald Trump. 65 days into his first term….”It’s all over.” As Obamacare continues to fail I suspect it will only help provide an example of how government needs to stay out of healthcare – and the rest of our lives. Although I would have settled on a “Conservative” version that was an immense improvement over what is in place now – Ryan failed to provide it.

    We’ll see what happens up next with tax cuts.

    Was in the discount grocery store Aldi’s and saw they now carry a small selection of freeze dried fruit. These come in a plastic pouch rather than mylar. The fruit could be repackaged with an oxygen absorber and a mylar bag. Fairly cheap. Haven’t bought any yet.
