I’m up way too late writing this but I don’t feel very tired. The morning will come too soon….I know.

As a member of a FB survival & preparedness group I posted a link to my article that started the American Reformation series. I was pleased that there were several very positive comments about it…and then it happened. Some troll had to attack the entire article because I brought up religion.

The individual stated that bringing up religion related to Patriots is “un-American”. We had a fairly respectful exchange where I tried to tell him he can believe what he wanted and have a nice day but he kept it going. As it stands right now I have nothing else to say on the matter so unless he gets personal I’ll leave what I’ve said to stand on its own.

Hey – if the guy doesn’t want to believe in any God or all the God’s good for him. What just grates my bones and this happens all the time is when someone brings up religion or says “Merry Christmas” and some segment of the atheist population FREAK OUT. They go out of their way to interfere. Interesting I will visit the social media accounts of some of these assclowns and I don’t see Christians and Jews blowing up their feed trying to convert them. No – I don’t see Christians trolling their accounts calling them names and being rude. Maybe it happens. I’ve never seen it.

Understand – I’m not saying that all that do not believe in a God do this crap. A small segment of the population does. Anyways – I don’t go out of my way to troll anyone. I state my piece and move on. Generally for those that troll – here, on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook I just block them before it gets very far. Time is valuable and I don’t have it to waste.

Delayed vote on the Healthcare Bill. I hope they can pull it together and do what is right for the country. Obamacare has been a disaster – though there have been positive aspects of it. We put a man on the moon back in 60’s we should be able to figure out a way to provide healthcare to the maximum number of people for the lowest possible cost.

Wikileaks has released information that the CIA has EVERY iPhone baited with technology right from the technology to allow them to spy on the owner. While I am all for law enforcement preventing terrorist attacks the level of privacy infiltration has gotten out of hand – if this information is to believed.

I watched the movie Deepwater Horizon yesterday. Very good. Lot’s of action and characters are authentic. Not sure how accurate it portrays the events of April 10th, 2010

The new Healthcare Bill is scheduled to be voted on today. Based on what I have heard I’m not in favor. I don’t understand how the “right” bill cannot be put together by House of Representivies Republican’s. Last I read the inclusion of an allowance for insurance companies to cross state lines creating competition has been omitted from the bill.

We’ll see.

The terrorist attack near the Parliament in London is extremely unfortunate but a reminder of two things:

• The popular European refugee acceptance program continues to show just how dangerous it is. Between the violent rapes and assaults – importing terrorists into your own country is…well….just stupid. Interesting how the description of the attacker has come out in the British press as an “Asian” man. I have seen pictures of the terrorist lying on a stretcher and he looks Arabic to me. The story still developing.

• The anti-gun establishment in England provides no ability for citizens to protect themselves nor for most police to do the same. Latest reports have the attacker fighting through multiple police officers who were UNARMED. Ridiculous.

The variation of temperatures here is the South has been crazy.  Tuesday it was 88 degrees. A week or so ago we had a snow storm and sub-freezing temps. No wonder so many people around hee are getting sick.

About 6 hours after this picture was taken all the snow was gone.

Seeds will start going in the ground within a few weeks.  I’m way behind with the garden but I can get caught up with 5-6 hours of solid work one Saturday.

I listened to Judge Gorsuch yesterday. Impressive. Sounds like an extremely intelligent and honorable man. The bias statements from some on the Left are disgusting. Pure politics with no consideration of what is best for the country.

A lot of preparedness minded folks are turning to Pinterest. I’ve never been big on Pinterest and really looked at it as something for women to go share recipes and craft ideas. Excuse the sexism but it is what it is. Pinterest has changed a lot over the last couple years. There is some really cool stuff so I highly recommend you check it out if you haven’t.

So Rachel Maddow made a fool of herself announcing she had Donald Trump’s tax return. Well – one from 2005. Anticipation mounted as her big announcement of the details grew close. Her followers salivated at the thought of Trump paying no taxes while raking in millions and FINALLY, there’s proof. As it turns out in 2005 Trump paid $38 million dollars in Federal taxes – approx 25%.  Of course, this does not count State and local taxes.

Regardless of this, the Left continues to attack Trump’s taxes saying that we still don’t know about his business dealings and of course he likely did a lot of business with Russia.

I could care less how much he paid in taxes. Every one of us tries to pay as little as possible. The hypocrisy of the pro-big government Progressives never ceases to amaze me.

As a teenager, there were a ton of guns that came out I just “had to have”.  One I remember was the Feather Enterprises AT-22. It was probably and unreliable piece of junk – but it was so “tactical”.

Liberal’s have introduced a Bill to require background checks on 100% legally built homemade firearms. Regardless of the political landscape that is steeply against them, they continue to pursue their agenda. Make no mistake about what their agenda involves: gun bans.

Oh – just heard that in Illinois there is legislation to confiscate guns from anyone who has been reported as a threat to themselves or anyone else. Yeah – like false charges and accusations never occur.

An 18-year-old man in North Carolina decapitated his mother. Guess what – he is an illegal immigrant. The amount of crime committed by those who should not be here in the first place is horrible. It must be stopped.

One of my favorite movies is King Kong. I’ve enjoyed the old one with Jessica Lange and the newer one with Naomi Watts is fantastic. What special effects! Tonight I am going to a sneak preview screening of Kong: Skull Island. Looking forward to it.
