NOTE: For those not familiar with what “The Coming Struggle” is – check out The Coming American Reformation. It is important information as this is the direction our country is heading and no one will be immune to its effects.

Information is important and in the case of a mass event such as the American Reformation having the right information is critical. What follows is a list divided up into several categories of recommended books. This is not an all-inclusive list of every conceivable book but rather those that should sit – along with others – on the bookshelf(or in the Kindle).
I would be remiss if I failed to mention the digital aspect of books nowadays. More digital books can be purchased for the same money thus it’s an attractive option. I will say that if you go that route have numerous backups as only having one device which to reference the information is a disaster in waiting. Check out 5 Steps to Building a Digital Preparedness Library for more information.
This is not an all-inclusive list – but a recommendation.

As stated this is not an all-inclusive list of every conceivable book to have nor will these suggestions cover every possible topic. There are just too many specifics with any scenario including geographical and climate considerations. The suggested books are what should be considered a good start.
Feel free to make additional suggestions.

Older versions (say pre-1955) of Red Cross first-aid manuals and Boy Scout handbooks. Cookbooks written prior to WWII and those geared towards food rationing. Simple how-to books on knitting, crocheting, or sewing clothes. Older editions are better because they lack the current bubble-wrap mindset of protecting everyone from themselves. You do need to be careful with old medical books, though. Some of the old methods really aren’t safe. The advantage of these is that they can usually be found pretty cheap at thrift stores and flea markets because most people don’t want them.
I also like one-book household encyclopedias from the late 1800’s-early 1900’s. They tend to be several inches thick but will cover pretty much every topic you can think of — from how to build a chicken coop or dig a privy to planting guides and treating contagious illnesses.
SingleMom ,
i printed out the household encyclopedias at home a few years back, it took a lot of paper and ink cartridges but i have it on paper now, there is a great wealth of knowledge in them. https://archive.org/details/householdencyclo00mage/page/n5/mode/2up
i like paper, and unless it burns it will always be a great source of information and great entertainment. paper is EMP proof.
Johns recommendation’s are on the mark, all are must haves. the when there is no doctor/ dentist or vets are must haves IMO. Joe and Amy Altons books on survival medicine are great also.
don’t just put them on a shelf guy’s. read them first.
the older pre 70’s encyclopedias are a wealth if good information if you can find them, that’s what people used before the internet.
i have too many books and not enough shelves.
