Seems like this weekend would be a good time to check on a few things – such as:
– Check your emergency contacts. So you have everything on paper?
– Maps: Make sure you have maps of local area, plus State, and surrounding States. Use a yellow highlighter to show specific pre-planned routes.
– Check the oil in your vehicles.
– Check any fire extinguishers and verify they are good.
– Talk to your family and make sure EVERYONE knows what the plan is if the grid goes down and/or there is no communication.
