No “From the Desk of…” yesterday. Just ran out of time.
Started and took Project Cherokee out for a spin last night. Scored a free battery from a neighbor who works on cars to make some extra money. Definitely going to use this guy during the build process. Having to get the Cherokee on the road. Battery, tires, and a gallon of oil per week should keep it running for a bit.

2017 Federal deficit $666 billion dollars. Pathetic. I did not expect Trump to change anything when it comes to the National Debt. He barely mentioned it during the campaign. It will continue to grow and grow. The question is at what point does the economy find the National Debt level unsustainable.

Stock market? IMO, it’s a house of cards and it’s going to crash like one, sooner then later. My late grandmother right before she past, got all perky and alert remembering everyone, she lit right up like a light bulb before her light went out. I think the stock market is in this same flux.

Took advantage of the millions of tons of tree damage from Irma. I chainsawed up and really good supply of oak rounds which I finally got started splitting yesterday. I had ordered a Southland six ton electric splitter from Amazon back on the 8th. I wasn’t expecting much from it but must say that I’m stunned at what the little beast can do. Busting up those rounds with such a powerful tool is addicting!
