I’m going to look into that sleeping bag. Thanks for pointing it out.
I have to travel periodically from Clemson, SC to Asheville, NC for appointments with the VA Hospital folks. I’ve built a get home bag using a nice Teton bag. I’m looking for a light weight sleeping bag. I have the small tent identified but have not purchased it yet. If I get hit with an event such as an EMP, and lose my transportation, my intent is to use my touring bicycle with my gear strapped onto the carry rack on the back. Not really looking forward to the trip, but with bicycle it will be easier traveling than walking.
That is a good idea, planning on the touring bike.
