
On July 4th, I watched part of a show on PBS called Alamance. It depicts the pre-revolution history of North Carolina. I googled it and found it on UNC TV and watched the entire show. Much like the quote from Samuel Adams, it fits today almost better than it did in the time frame portrayed. It is well worth the time to watch and reflect. We have come so far as a nation but at the same time the struggles we faced at the beginning still plague us today.
Yes, I see that too. We could rightly say, “There is no new thing under the sun.”
I thank God for our Founding Fathers. They left us wisdom beyond compare. It’s up to us to preserve the Republic they established for us.
