Quick Site Update – Comments

Just a quick note regarding “commenting” here on the site. We started experiencing a ton of SPAM making it through the comment moderation tool that I’ve used for years. Due to this I’ve had to manually delete this SPAM. I just installed a new tool and really not sure how well it will work or if it will be problematic for regular commentors. If it doesn’t work I’ll move on to another.

We shall see.

I don’t know if it’s only for Prime members, but Amazon currently has the Sawyer Mini SP120 in red only for $11.01. This is part of their “Big Spring Deal”, and I don’t know when it ends.

I have had to shut off my VPN in order for any comment to load. Annoying but tolerable. Worst part is to remember to reengage it after. I don’t like flying naked on the web.
