While thinking about firearms training Goingray58 sent in some info on the Appleseed Project. This is real firearms training and pretty inexpensive.

Has links at the bottom to all sorts of other training .. most you have heard of.
I don’t care if people are crack shot SOG troops.. but the ability to effectively use a rifle is a solid idea.. and the concepts taught are constitutional.
All of that sounds good to me…..

Need clean water?
Thanks for the good information. They have some coming to my area. Checking into it. Thanks. Keep Looking UP
I’d love to hear from anybody in the group that attend a session. he reviews seem very positive.
I attended a shoot about 4 or so years ago and learned more in those two days then I had in 15 years of shooting, missed Rifleman rating by just a few points because I wasn’t familiar to the borrowed 10/22 I was using & kept fumbling the magazine changes. Knowing your rifle is a high priority – 10/22’s with the 10 shot rotary mags and Tech Sight are the best, but now Marlin has a version out that is getting popular due to the cost. I found a new love for the USGI style web sling, you can get a rock solid stance and have since put them onto a couple of my 22’s. Friend is saying the AR style 22’s just aren’t accurate enough and don’t cheat yourself using magnified scopes. When we went to the 500 yard range and shot different rifles, as long as you remembered the basics, knew where your rifle was zeroed you CAN hit man sized silhouettes at that distance.
jh .. good feedback .. thanks.. I think maybe I would lie to go .. and based on results maybe go to the instructors class.. sounds like fun .. and worth the effort ..
