A new covid variant named OMICRON – has been detected and in these early stages, it’s reportedly much more infectious and transmissive than previous variants. Regardless of all the theories regarding origins and treatments – this is something that is very likely going to affect us and not in a good way.
There is little doubt those who wish will use this new variant to inflict measures of control and any means necessary to further their big-government agenda. There are those who would suggest that the means by which to medically battle this new variant will be withheld from citizens’ access. I would suggest they are correct.
This new variant will likely have a disastrous impact on the economy. More testing, more mandates, more resignations, more labor shortages, and more firings. This will lead to more supply chain issues and more shortages of both services and supplies.
As of this writing, the UK has two confirmed cases and there are suspected cases in several countries around the world. The Biden administration is halting travel from South Africa where the variant originated.
So – what does this new variant mean to us?
We do not know the health ramifications as of yet. We do not know if any of the COVID vaccines or their boosters will have any impact. Will the current treatments that have been shown successful work against OMICRON? Will those with natural immunity be impacted at all?
So many questions with the answers days, weeks, or months away.
What is very likely is more government restrictions and control. More shortages. More mandates. More threats to our health. This could be what sends it all over the edge.
Maybe.
What to do?
This is a question that deserves an answer much larger than what I’ll provide right now, however here are a few thoughts:
- Stock up on the basic daily and weekly supplies that are required for life.
- Get out of debt.
- Move to as remote an area as possible.
- Establish secondary and tertiary streams of income.
- Improve your immune system as much as possible. See the OTC COVID Protocol.
- Get as healthy as possible.
We still have a lot to learn about this new variant and hopefully, it will not be the threat it appears to be. Regardless of the facts we all know government and others will play it to their advantage.

Absolutely Capt. The truth largely doesn’t matter anymore. How the government and numerous other entities is what will affect us more than the virus itself. Look at the number of people who failed to get regular checkups due to the first round of lockdowns. That will kill more people than COVID.

I agree completely JR and also that the new scaryient is all about bringing the hammer down on the people. Viruses generally become less lethal with each new variant so it’s not the China crud that we need to fear. It’s the Marxists themselves. Have you all been watching what is going on in Australia? Holy cow!
Let’s not forget they just recently released information that Africa had very few cases of covid and they are not vaccinating. Now suddenly there is a Variant coming from Africa. Me thinks I smell a RAT.
Yes Australia is bad.. and it has gotten so beginning with the Port Arthur incident that allowed them to remove guns. They skipped to litters int eh Greek Alpabet Nu – (understandable since the pronunciation would confuse people) and then Xi – (which is ridiculous since it matches a politico’s name in PRC – wonder who is running the things?). I am done worrying about it. If it wasn’t Omicron it’d be something else.. Their intent is to cripple the US and they are succeeding. They will kill off the oldest of us and focus on babies as leverage against the ones the need to feed the economic engine. We either DO something or we figure out how to live with the inaction and the results. There isn’t much else to know is there ?

The new variant is coming from Africa so Biden cancelled travel from 8 countries in Africa. But when Trump did it he was called a xenophone and all sorts of names. Now the CDC and WHO is saying they will have a shot ready in 100 days to take care of the omicron. If it’s a “new” variant and nothing is known about it, my question is this…how can they have a shot for it in 100 days. Things that make you go hmmmm.
