OMICRON, Government Overreach, Uncertain Future

Please read this post on COVID, OMICRON, and government overreach all the way to the end.

Brief Current COVID Summary: Over 70% of all diagnosed COVID-19 cases are OMICRON according to the most recent statistics. So far there has been 1 death in the United States and up to 12 possible in the UK. Connected to all of these deaths were secondary health conditions which likely contributed to the fatal outcomes. President Biden recently provided a grim prediction for the unvaccinated – a winter of death for them and their families. He also told Americans that Christmas and New Year’s can be celebrated and families could get together – but only if they are vaccinated.

Treatments continue to be developed to fight the rapidly spread virus including the recently authorized PAXLOVID. PAXLOVID is the first oral at-home treatment that should decrease hospitalizations as well as deaths. This treatment protocol includes a 5-day course of three PAXLOVID pills given twice per day. Effectiveness is rated at 89% keeping those infected out of the hospital and away from death.

Cutting Through the BS

The Omicron variant is, in fact, spreading like wildfire across the United States. Collected data can be used in many ways to suggest a variety of different things depending on the perspective of the presenter. We all know that within the general population there is approx a 98.5% rate of survivability after contracting COVID(and improving with each new variant). The Paxlovid pill has shown that those taking it have an 89% reduction rate for hospitalization or death in the test groups. All sides of the COVID issue will utilize these numbers in different ways to further their agendas.

Here’s the bottom line: Developed treatments are reducing hospitalizations and deaths. The Omicron variant and very likely subsequent variants will continue to get weaker providing lower health risks. The virus itself is becoming less of a threat with each passing day.

BTW – the Plaxlovid treatment is not based on some new science. This type of medication has been used to treat HIV for many years.

Slap of Reality

I’m so sick of hearing about COVID. I’m quite certain that I’m not alone. The MSM continues to pump their fear-mongering to fill news time where Trump as President used to be focussed on. Ratings continue to drop while crime rates continue to increase. Others recklessly spew misinformation from multiple angles causing confusion and providing “facts” leading to potentially deadly decisions. With the COVID virus doing what viruses do and decreasing in strength as new variants are born, the risk is dwindling for most. Plaxlovid – based on early studies – should represent the “light at the of the tunnel”. Normality should be right around the corner for ALL OF US. Is that happening? Nope. Big government will NOT give up power. New York and Boston are two cities where to even go into a restaurant proof of ineffective vaccinations must be provided.

We no longer have a COVID problem. We have a tyranny problem!!

Beyond the extreme inability to make personal health choices regarding vaccinations, treatments, Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, etc. – the government’s overreach by mandating companies require vaccinations and/or testing is huge. School systems and numerous other businesses having mandates are continuing us down a path of division. The inability to freely discuss the issues as social media platforms “fact-check” and delete opinions continue to hammer the 1st amendment.

The people will eventually get sick of this and put a stop to it, or at least that’s what should happen. So far I’ve seen little.

COVID: Supplements to Stock Up On

It’s only been a few months since this was published but I think it’s worth another look. With the OMICRON variant reaching our borders as well Delta still circulating through the population taking precautions is certainly prudent.

With many not interested in getting vaccinated, over-the-counter treatments are gaining more and more attention. One treatment protocol of particular interest revolves around the combination of quercetin, vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, melatonin, and famotidine.

Quercetin – In at least one published study the oral ingestion of quercetin was shown to decrease symptoms and improve conditions in COVID patients. Quercetin, a plant flavonoid, gained notoriety when researchers in China found that quercetin and other small molecules bind to the spike protein of the SARS-CoV-1 coronavirus, interfering with its ability to infect host cells.

Vitamin C – Vitamin C is one of the safest and most effective nutrients. It may not be the cure for the common cold, the benefits of vitamin C may include protection against immune system deficiencies, cardiovascular disease, and assists with wound healing and inflammation reduction.

Vitamin D – Vitamin D is involved in calcium absorption, immune function, and protecting bone, muscle, and heart health. It occurs naturally in food and can also be produced by your body when your skin is exposed to sunlight. Vitamin D deficiencies are becoming more common.

Zinc – Zinc helps your immune system and metabolism function. Zinc is also important to wound healing and your sense of taste and smell.

Melatonin – Melatonin is most often used to improve sleep, which may be beneficial for immunity.

Famotidine – Famotidine? It’s the active ingredient in Pepcid – the heartburn medicine. How could a heartburn medicine possibly have a positive effect on those with COVID? Studies in New York have shown positive results. Early in the COVID pandemic in China reports showed famotidine to improve patient outcomes and reduce symptom severity.

From a preparedness perspective, alternative medicine has always been an important consideration. After all, you never know when access to needed medical care may be absent. In these crazy times it may not require a grid down, EMP-induced apocalypse to need alternative medical care.

OMICRON Variant and What It Means To Us
A new covid variant named OMICRON – has been detected and in these early stages, it’s reportedly much more infectious and transmissive than previous variants. Regardless of all the theories regarding origins and treatments – this is something that is very likely going to affect us and not in a good way.

There is little doubt those who wish will use this new variant to inflict measures of control and any means necessary to further their big-government agenda. There are those who would suggest that the means by which to medically battle this new variant will be withheld from citizens’ access. I would suggest they are correct.

This new variant will likely have a disastrous impact on the economy. More testing, more mandates, more resignations, more labor shortages, and more firings. This will lead to more supply chain issues and more shortages of both services and supplies.

As of this writing, the UK has two confirmed cases and there are suspected cases in several countries around the world. The Biden administration is halting travel from South Africa where the variant originated.

So – what does this new variant mean to us?

We do not know the health ramifications as of yet. We do not know if any of the COVID vaccines or their boosters will have any impact. Will the current treatments that have been shown successful work against OMICRON? Will those with natural immunity be impacted at all?

So many questions with the answers days, weeks, or months away.

What is very likely is more government restrictions and control. More shortages. More mandates. More threats to our health. This could be what sends it all over the edge.

Maybe.

What to do?

This is a question that deserves an answer much larger than what I’ll provide right now, however here are a few thoughts:
- Stock up on the basic daily and weekly supplies that are required for life.
- Get out of debt.
- Move to as remote an area as possible.
- Establish secondary and tertiary streams of income.
- Improve your immune system as much as possible. See the OTC COVID Protocol.
- Get as healthy as possible.
We still have a lot to learn about this new variant and hopefully, it will not be the threat it appears to be. Regardless of the facts we all know government and others will play it to their advantage.

The Truth of What’s Coming

For those who attempt to monitor, track, and make sense of the endless array of craziness going on in the world – it’s maddening. Trying to disseminate the BS presented as fact from all sides of any issue is frustrating, to say the least. Basing opinions and beliefs in facts and logic rather than emotion and fantasy takes work. We are living in a world where one biased side suggests that the COVID vaccine is an absolute necessity – a requirement. The other biased side will say COVID isn’t real and doesn’t exist. The truth lies somewhere in the middle. We have a cancel culture where if you have a certain opinion you will have social media accounts canceled, websites closed, and can even be targeted in your own neighborhood by those with a different opinion. We live in a world where men are allowed to compete against women in sports and American Olympic athletes turn their back to the flag and kneel during the national anthem. We live in a world wherein New York City and a growing list of other locations require special identification to go out to eat, to go to a gym, and engage in other common activities, but, do not require an ID to vote. We live in a world where restrictions are being placed on American citizens while illegals are accepted at our borders and then shipped all over the country.

Do you want the truth? Can you handle the truth?

It’s not going away and there is little that can be done to stop it.

I have completely lost faith in the political system. No white knight in shining armor is going to ride in and save us. Corruption and social decay are far too embedded and rooted into the very fabric of this country. Like weeds completely infesting a lawn, it can be fixed by either tearing it out and replacing it completely – or killing it off and starting over.

The Next Few Years

Going much further out than a few years is an effort in futility. Far too many variables to accurately predict conditions 5-15 years out(though it can be fun). Where we find ourselves today is the result of years of slow and steady decay. The economic challenges of rising prices for food, fuel, and many other products as a result of inflationary pressure will continue to tax wallets and bank accounts alike. Let’s review some of the challenges we will face over the next few years.

Economics

The aforementioned inflation is putting millions of families at a point that feeding the family daily is a struggle. Double-digit inflation with many food items has reduced buying power and will continue at least for the next few years. Fuel continues to rise in cost and hopefully, a reverse trend will be seen soon. Many other products continue to see pricing increase as well as supply chain issues. I recently purchased some o-rings for my Sawyer Mini Water Filter Bucket Kit and found the cost went up 16%. Families will continue to work to either reduce expenses or raise income – or both. We can either fight against changing times with everything we’ve got – or work within the system to our advantage. When it comes to preparing for the future – financial preparation these days is a necessity.

Steps to Consider:

Precious Metals – Gold and silver have been used in commerce for hundreds of years. That will not be changing anytime soon. Gold is an excellent hedge against inflation while in a working economy, while silver is as well but also an excellent barter item. I highly recommend Money Metals Exchange if you are interested in precious metals.

Cryptocurrencies – I know many scoff at the idea of digital currencies. Welcome to the modern era. Cryptocurrencies are becoming more mainstream every day and when looking at ways to increase wealth(buying power) crypto is excellent – and also high risk. For purchasing crypto I recommend Robinhood and Coinbase. Sign up for Coinbase, deposit $100 or more – get $10 in Bitcoin. BTW – I’ve been messing arounf with Crypto for several months and have done very well.

Debt Reduction – Eliminating or reducing debt must be part of any plan to fight the economic catastrophe. Debt elimination provides freedom of whatever revenue you have coming in. If job losses occur, low expenses will allow whatever income reaches your wallet to go further.

Secondary Streams of Income – Creating a secondary stream of income can not only provide extra funds for saving, debt reduction, or purchasing – but security in case job change or unemployment should occur. Examples of common ways to generate streams of income include eBay, yard sales, part-time jobs, landscaping, and nude modeling. Ok – just kidding about that last part(maybe).

Employment – Right along with secondary streams of income is employment. For millions of Americans being unvaccinated will limit the ability to have gainful employment. This not only affects earning power but also the ability to get health insurance. As frustrating as it may be the harsh reality is those who choose to NOT take the jab are going to be targeted. Preparing for such an inevitability should be at the top of your priority list IF you fit into that category.

Networking

The “Lone Wolf” ideology used to be popular back in the ’80s. The general consensus now is it takes a TEAM of people to not just maintain a property but to handle all the tasks that need to get done….done. Networking and forming a group is absolutely needed. With multiple members, you have many skillsets and talents. In an economy where certain people may be economically challenged(no damn money) as well as possibly have restrictions due to their “designation” – having fellow group members who can assist with needed projects is a HUGE thing.

Let me state it plainly: There may be a time that someone who refuses to accept a vaccine or some other government requirement and they cannot find work. Their earning power is diminished. A fellow group member knows plumbing and is willing to fix a problem for 20 pre-1965 dimes.

See how that works?

Being a member of a survival group – a Mutual Assistance Group – provides the benefit of an increased knowledge base and the utilization of the saying, “Many hands make light work.”

Stuff

Everyone’s favorite topic – getting STUFF. Securing your beans, bullets, and band-aids is a must. With a left-leaning Congress, White House, Justice Department, and ATF securing desired boomsticks and corresponding components need to be completed…..soon.

Purchasing components “off the books” is recommended and never a bad option when possible.

Communication

Something to consider and I am working n this myself is communication. With the recently announced invasion of privacy that Apple will be scanning all cell phone photo’s looking for nefarious material – there is no telling to what extent this will go. While privacy has been absent for many years regardless of what platform is used, this new direct targeting is concerning to say the least.

What. method of communication will be used within your survival group? What protections can be acquired to make communication as secure as possible?

Summary

Insanity. How many of us see the headlines, read about what others look at as “normal” and just shake our heads. If anyone would have suggested back on September 12th, 2001 that the country would be in the state it is today, most would have called you crazy.

Unfortunately, it’s real.

I truly believe we need to come together, network, and share ideas on how to best combat the insanity that the enemy portrays as “just” and “good” and “right.”

This Is 1938: First, They Came for the Unvaccinated

This is the most important commentary I’ve ever written.

It’s time for alarm bells. It’s time for me to play the part of Paul Revere: “The communist tyrants and dictators are coming! The communist tyrants and dictators are coming!” They’re coming first for unvaccinated Americans.

This is 1938. I’m a Jew. I now understand just a little of what it felt like to be a Jew in 1938. No, it’s not the Holocaust. Nothing can be compared to the Holocaust. Ever.

But 1938 was not the Holocaust. It was the pre-Holocaust. It was the time before the nightmare, when the foundation was being laid to destroy the freedom, free speech, businesses and lives of millions of Jews.

Everything happening today to the American people … to the U.S. Constitution … to freedom … and particularly to unvaccinated Americans reminds me of 1938. This is only the beginning. It gets much worse from here.

First, “the papers.” Vaccine mandates and vaccine passports are just like 1938, when the Gestapo demanded papers from every German.

Republicans asked for “papers” from migrants who had broken into our country. Criminals. Democrats said, “No, that’s racism.” Republicans asked for “papers” once every two years for federal elections, to prove you have a right to vote. Democrats said, “No, that’s racism.”

Now Democrats want American citizens, not illegal aliens, not criminals, but patriots born in this country, to produce papers 24/7. We’ll need papers to enter restaurants, bars, nightclubs, concerts, casinos, conventions and hotels and to board a train, plane or bus. We’ll need papers to enter a supermarket, or we’ll starve to death. All for the crime of being unvaccinated against … wait for it …

The flu.

All for the crime of being unwilling to inject an untested, rushed to production, experimental, “for emergency use only” shot into our bodies.

What happened to the war cry of Democrats: “My body, my choice”? It only applies to murdering babies, but it doesn’t apply to dangerous experimental shots that we don’t want injected into our bodies.

Weren’t Jews injected with experimental drugs by the depraved Nazi government? Wasn’t that a key part of the Nuremberg trials? That no government could ever again inject experimental shots into the bodies of unwilling citizens? Isn’t that a basic human right?

By the way, this isn’t about vaccines. If you want the vaccine, take it. I’d never stop you. I’d never limit your freedom, your choice. This is about vaccine mandates — forcibly injecting Americans who don’t want it. That’s 1938.

But there’s much more in common with 1938. Mask mandates. If you’re scared, wear them. I’m not scared. I don’t want to wear them. Mandates are about forcing individuals to lose their freedom, choice, individuality and human rights. That’s 1938.

Lockdowns are a match with the Warsaw Ghetto. Jews were locked down. Jews couldn’t work. Jews couldn’t travel. Jewish businesses were labeled “nonessential.”

If government can force us to close our businesses, to kill our jobs, to decide who is nonessential, then this is 1938.

Stars on clothing. It’s coming. The vaccinated get into restaurants, bars, concerts, supermarkets, planes and trains. They keep their jobs. The rest of us are marked as “subhuman” for life. That’s the star. That’s 1938.

Media and social media as the public-relations wing of the government. That’s called propaganda. Remind you of 1938? Back then, the Jews’ books were burned. Today, it’s those of conservatives, patriots and specifically the unvaccinated. We are silenced. Our facts are labeled “misleading.” Only the facts that agree with big government’s agenda count. That’s 1938.

Door-to-door intimidation and making lists of those who disagree with “government knows best.” Trust me, that army of door-to-door vaccine brainwashers will soon be turned into a Gestapo of gun-grabbers. 1938 was the year Nazis banned Jews from owning guns. They took them door to door. That’s 1938.

Only days ago, a former Department of Homeland Security official said the unvaccinated should be on the federal no-fly list. That’s exactly how Nazis attacked the Jews and others who disagreed with their agenda. It was always lists. Lists of people to be disappeared in the middle of the night; lists of those to be sent to reeducation camps; lists of those to be sent to concentration camps; lists of enemies of the state. It’s happening again. Maybe this time you’ll only lose your job or free speech. This is, again, 1938.

It’s all disgusting and disgraceful. But I’m warning you, this is just the start. It’s all going downhill from here — fast. This is the end of America. This is 1938.

Unless we stop it now. Unless we take a stand now. Unless we draw a line in the sand now.

Department of Justice Declares COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates Legal

Just announced and covered over at The Epoch Times – the Department of Justice has ruled that mandating COVID vaccines is perfectly legal. While this is NOT a legal verdict it’s not good news for those who value freedom.

Here is an excerpt from the article:

I sincerely hope a case is brought before the Supreme Court. Although I would like to think individual freedom would win the day I’m not so sure.

We have significant challenges ahead. For years people have wondered how the S would HTF and what it would look like. I’ll explore that more later but just take a look around – it’s happening right now and it’s nothing that we ever thought.

Mandatory COVID Vaccines

Just a few months ago I really thought that mandatory COVID vaccines would be a minority situation throughout the United States. Here approaching August of 2021 I see this no longer the case and for many mandatory vaccines will occur.

Maine Prepper Girl is a surgery room nurse and she may be facing being required to take the jab or be fired. A year ago nurses were “heroes” and now they are being told that they MUST take the jab of go wait tables.

That’s about as fu$%’d up as a soup sandwich.

My own company is not requiring it and has no plans to – but that could change at any time. There are protests going on in France as well as several cities across the United States against mandatory COVID vaccines.

While many will profess that the COVID vaccines are integral to stopping the spread, and others will profess the vaccine will simply kill you. -I state that the true evidence that exists today tells me it should be a personal choice. It’s unbelievable that my country that has been a beacon of freedom for so many has fallen so far.

I’m working out, eating my vegetables, taking my vitamins – and hoping for the best.

Delta Variant

Daily new COVD cases are increasing and the number of cases that are related to the Delta variant is spiking. Several locations in the US have increased their restrictions. I’m so sick of hearing “COVID”, but, it’s something we have to deal with and impacts our life and economy. The stock market sell-off yesterday was a direct result of the nervousness the country is feeling about what will happen the rest of the year.

From a preparedness perspective, it’s another piece of the puzzle as to why preparedness just makes sense. With everything else going on more and more people are looking at preparedness as a “thing” that simply makes sense.

Back to Delta: France just instituted some pretty strict measurements which basically amount to mandated vaccines. Will it happen here? I doubt it will happen fully, however, there will be a push in that direction. Will companies increase insurance costs on those that are unvaccinated? It will happen. Will hospitals and other medical facilities require employees to be vaccinated? In some cases no doubt. Will some schools and colleges require vaccinations prior to enrollment? Already happening.

Crazy world.

Oh – the reason for the puppy picture is because that is much better than looking at anything COVID-related.

What If You Refuse To Take the Vaccine?
There’s quite a bit of excitement, and well-deserved apprehension regarding the COVID vaccines being administered across the country. Millions of Americans want the vaccine and the protection it affords all the while millions more are very concerned about both the short-term and long-term effects.

There are numerous rumors and theories on what may happen should people decide NOT to take the vaccine. These run from absolutely nothing – all the way up to increased insurance cost and an inability to get a job.

Here are a few possible repercussions for those not willing to get the vaccine:
- Denial to enter their workplace. Basically, no one will hire you.
- Inability to attend school.
- Laws could be passed not allowing those not vaccinated to attend large group events.
- Travel restrictions – both domestic and abroad
- Higher health insurance rates
- No access to certain facilities and events – this could include no access to nursing homes, movie theaters, visiting hospitals, etc.
- Denial of certain government benefits.
- Social stigma’s placed on those refusing to take the vaccine.
I have no intention of taking the vaccine. There are those that fall into certain high-risk categories that should absolutely consider it.

The COVID Agenda Continues……

Yes – COVID is real. No – it’s not as dangerous as originally portrayed FOR MOST PEOPLE. No – we should not shut the country down because of it. Yes – those with certain health conditions should take precautions to avoid it(and the flu). Yes – politicians have and are taking advantage of the virus to move their agendas forward.

FUBAR: Government Passes COVID Relief and Spending Bill

The House of Representatives split the coronavirus relief and government funding legislation passed Monday into two separate votes — allowing members to vote against the part that included military and Homeland Security funding. The entire spending bill passed to the amount of approx $2.3 trillion dollars.

With all this money being spent and added to the national debt – most citizens are reportedly going to receive a stimulus check for $600. If you take the $900 billion, which is targeted towards COVID relief, and divide it by 330 million people in this country – that’s roughly $2700 per person.

I did a little math. The United States gives Israel approx $3.8 billion dollars per year. That’s around $422 per Israeli citizen. The United States is giving every Israeli citizen $422!!!!!

The following is floating around the internet today. I haven’t fact-checked it and even if the numbers are skewed it’s not far off showing the pathetic efforts by our government to do their job.

1.      $300,000,000 for Migrant and Refugee Assistance pg.. 147
2.      $10,000 per person for student loan bailout
3.      $100,000,000 to NASA, because, who knows why.
4.      $20,000,000,000 to the USPS, because why not
5.      $300,000,000 to the Endowment for the Arts – because of it
6.      $300,000,000 for the Endowment for the Humanities/ because no one even knew that was a thing

Are You Ready for the Next Lockdown?
Regardless of the facts, and what any of us believe pertaining to COVID-19, we all have to deal with the actions of local, state, and federal government policies put in place as a response to the virus.

Very soon after states started easing restrictions and reopening the number of new cases started to rise. While it can be argued – and should be – that more testing equates to an increase in new cases – the rising number of deaths is concerning. Over the past 7-10 days, the daily number of deaths appears to be decreasing. This is good news.

By the way – I am well aware that the data is skewed and accuracy is highly suspicious. The data used is what we have to go by at the moment. Real-world evidence has many hospitals beyond full capacity. The virus is spreading and the number of hospitalizations and deaths is up. There is no doubt about that. The true “death rate” or measure of lethality is certainly not nearly as high as the American people and the world was led to believe.

The New Normal

Policies, rules, and planned reactions to levels of infection vary greatly by localities and state. Politicians are largely instituting policies based on a combination of effective practices to diminish the spread, economic impact, and poll numbers.

Notice I did not mention “Rights of the citizen and constitutionality” as a contributing factor towards policy development. When you can walk into a liquor store, loot and riot, go to Walmart – but you cannot go to church – the obvious biases are evident. Another relevant example of political bias toward determining policy is how a large segment of the Left wants to provide simple and insecure means to vote – rather than the normal method. Once again – people can stand in line at Wal-Mart, however, to many standing in line to vote is too dangerous. The lack of consistency and the level of hypocrisy knows no boundaries.

Masks are part of the new normal. Social distancing is part of the new normal. Shopping online and using innovation to find methods of conducting commerce with little to know physical interactions is part of the new normal.

Part-time school with a substantial amount of online learning is likely something that will not be going away anytime soon. Students wearing masks all day and minimal class-sizes may become part of the new normal. The changes in schools and e-learning will have a detrimental impact on the economy and developmental progress of students.

The coming Fall/Winter season will be the first dealing with COVID. Imagine how people will be looked at who are sneezing, coughing, and have stuffy noses due to the common cold? Employers will increase their requirements on testing for those “suspected” of having any kind of sickness to make absolutely certain it’s not COVID will increase.

Imagine what will occur when a vaccine comes out. How many employers will require as part of employment all employees to get the vaccine? Will Schools will require students to get the COVID vaccine in order to enroll?

It’s going to be interesting.

Steps to Prepare

I’m not expecting any kind of catastrophe due to the 2nd wave of shutdowns. Here are a few thoughts pertaining to commonsense preparedness for the coming lockdown:

Basic Pandemic Protection: For those looking to protect themselves as much as possible from contracting COVID-19 the following items are recommended to stock up in quantity.
- Masks – as more and more places are requiring masks, make sure you have plenty on hand.
- Hand Sanitizer – Hand sanitizer has become much more readily available. If the new cases continue to trend upward and you wish to avoid contracting the virus, hand sanitizer is useful for sanitizing hands and other items such as shopping cart handles.
- Disinfectant Spray – Still hard to find in most areas, “Lysol” type spray is useful for disinfecting larger areas and objects such as toilet seats, doorknobs, keyboards, etc.
- Antibacterial Cleaning – Cleaning items such as Clorox wipes and cleaning solutions that are effective against viruses are still highly sought after and difficult to find.
Other Preparedness Tasks/Steps: When the Fall comes the unknown will arrive. The regular flu will infect hundreds of thousands of people and with similar symptoms to COVID and create an environment of fear and suspicion. Everyone with sniffles, a cough, a stuffy nose – will be looked at as “one of those”. Wait and see.

The complexity of this situation cannot be overstated.
- Debt Reduction. With the economic uncertainty and businesses closing, reducing hours, and changing how they operate the chances of becoming unemployed are likely to increase in the Fall. Reducing debt to better be able to handle times of income reduction should be started now.
- Saving. Saving goes right along with debt reduction. Having an emergency cash stash just in case makes sense and will help if income reductions occur.
- Secondary Streams of Income. Backup funding sources to keep you afloat should hours get cut back or you lose your job should be a priority. Selling things on eBay is a good example. Using a skill such as baking cakes or petsitting is another.
- Stocking Up. Food prices have increased substantially over the past few months. Will this trend continue? I would plan on YES. Buying food now – especially on sale and using coupons, can save you a lot of money. Buying now being smart and strategic could save you upwards of 30-40% over what you might pay in 6 months. Spend $750 per month on groceries now? This could amount to a $300 per month savings later. BTW – this goes for everything – not just food.
- Cold/Flu Medicines. There is likely to be a run on cold & flu medicines this Fall. Stock up now as supplies will likely become short and prices will go up.
Regardless of what the next lockdown looks like or if we have one at all – I’m not sure there has been a time in the past 100 years where the future of our country has been so uncertain.
