If I found myself in a fire-fight, the last weapon I would pick up is my federally stamped select-fire rifle. If I did have to use that one I would have it set on semi-auto or 3 round burst. Otherwise I would be holding an empty rifle after a 2 second pull of the trigger. 40 rounds are gone in less time than that.
