Imagine that medical care was inaccessible, or at least extremely difficult to access. Not very farfetched with the insanity that continues to go on in the world. I’ve been into survival and preparedness for over 30 years and there’s never been a better time to have a resource like The Survival Medicine Handbook. I’ve had two prior revisions and they were awesome. This new revision? Simply fantastic.
Don’t be one of those that spend hundreds or thousands on guns and ammo and then skimps on medical resources.
This revision is in full color with many more illustrations. Check out The Survival Medicine Handbook, 4th Edition.
Stay safe and keep preparing.

A blurb about that book – This version, revised in 2005, is completely rewritten from the original 1997 version with some completely new sections added. It’s main purpose is to provide answers to commonly asked questions related to survival/preparedness medicine. It does a good job at providing relevant information not commonly found in traditional texts as well as directing you where to find more information.

All of these books, with the exception of the Ranger Medic book were designed for non-medical types to be able to use. You do have to read, study, read some more, study some more before you need the knowledge. You need supplies and training.
Remember – A Book – A Cook Does Not Make.
Read, study, get what training you can, get what supplies you can
