I’ll throw my vote in that the Chuck Norris movie Lone Wolf Mcquade is the best movie ever made. Yeah – it’s full of masculinity and loads of testosterone. Yup – and I think it’s that same stuff that won two world wars and the lack thereof that lost Vietnam and Afghanistan(damn politicians!!).
Color me reactionary but I tend to look at things as fairly black and white, hot and cold, on and off. Either the equation adds up or it doesn’t.
Lone Wolf Mcquade has Chuck Norris doing the right things against the wrong people without taking into consideration what race they are, how it might affect the climate, and whether or not celebrities will have a favorable opinion on it.
Chuck was able to bed Barbara Carrera and kick David Carradienes ass at the same time. He’s my hero and to me – – – this movie represented freedom and the RIGHT way of looking at things.
Maybe I’m just nuts.
Rourke
PS – BTW – I’ll have this movie loaded up in the membership area by end of the week so it can be downloaded.
I’ve always wanted to be Chuck Norris when I grow up!
John, liked that one, but I liked his Invasion U S A best.
Careful there… I don’t think there was a lack of masculinity or testosterone that cost us Vietnam or Afghanistan on the battlefield. A lack in the politician’s house maybe, but not on the battlefield. I know too many of these guys to let that one sit.
Yes, it is a great movie.
What is it that George C. Scott says in the movie “Patton” when discussing Ike’s dealing with the Russians to Bradly about not wanting to be a politician, but wanting to be a soldier.
Absolutely correct. I was referring to the politicians. I’ll edit the past. Thanks for pointing that out.
I agree. Definitely one of the most bestest movies ever made.
Probaby watched the film 1231 times when i was a pup.
Great actors. Great villain. Great female lead. Great truck. Great guns, gear, and drink.
I liked Patton. I always remember remember when asked if he ever read the bible. He replied “yes every God damned day” smile
and when asked about war he said “God help me I love it so”
That is how I feel about weather events( I do not like to see people affected negatively but I love the drama of powerful weather)

Rourke- I liked what you said about helping the people who were good against the evil- no matter what is politically correct !!
What made the difference in those wars after WW2 was none of them were actually “declared war” and the government wasn’t whole heartedly behind them and didn’t give our men (and now some women) the real support they needed.
Chuck Norris…never heard of her
Lt.Gen Lewis B. [Chesty] Puller
A real American badass
Yep, had the politicians let Gen. Patton take out Russia after the war with Germany, we probably wouldn’t be dealing with them now! The carnage just from Cruise missiles launched by the Navy & Air Force will keep the buzzards well fed for weeks!
There are movies, many movies out there that deserve being considered among the best. Movies who’s characters and stories are so well fleshed out that by the end of the movie they feel a part of our life for a time. Movies that can leave you thrilled, saddened, awestruck, hunted….. So obviously my vote goes to THE OCTAGON! 🤣
Damnit I misspelled haunted😂
The American Military has failed in every war we entered after WW2… .
Current Military is in shambles and the focus is on gender rights and making sure everyone has a safe space. They can’t even win a war against sand people
