A flat tire is a real-world event that can happen at any time. AAA is a great thing and calling a buddy to come to pick you up can be done, however, a tire plug kit can get you back on the road quickly.

Tire work in general is something I learned as a kid on the farm… I recently decided to do some of my own just as practice. I found I had to add a few tools to do it .. and re-learn a bit. When you can’t drop it off at Walmart or the dealer .. what will you do? If tires are in short supply and you need to dismount one to remount it where you need it, what will you do? Learn it while you don’t HAVE to know .. so you do know when you DO. IMO
