First ever winter warning here for FOG . 50 degrees in Jan. (not the usual Jan thaw ) the beavers and ducks are keeping part of the pond open and it was a joy to watch the two yearling beaver siblings playing in the water today and munching branches …
Sun night going down to 18 with possible ice.
Our cookie making with the grand daughters was cancelled with a phone call that one of our Grand daughters had a fever and sore throat and chills and headache and off they went to Urgent care and after a very LONG line and wait she was tested for strep and flu and covid.. Not flu or strep and they were all out of instant covid tests so we will know on Mon. She may also have a viral laryngitis that is making he rounds. She had her covid test last week. My daughters boyfriend who was with our small family on Christmas day also is sick with the same symptoms. He lives 3 hours away.
So prayers for Joce and Michael are appreciated please.
This time of year folks please get in some Zicam and zinc and anti flu homeopathic meds. They all help to lessen symptoms of flu and colds .
We had a delicious chicken pot pie today and strawberries and cream for dessert.
