GUN CONTROL: DOJ and ATF Stance on Braced Pistols

As of last week, there is a trend developing with the ATF. Between raids on 80% lower manufacturers and anti-stabilizing brace actions, this demands some attention.

The ATF is suggesting that when evaluating firearms with a stabilizing brace to determine whether they are considered firearms under the National Firearms Act (NFA) and/or the Gun Control Act (GCA). The Department of Justice (DOJ) is planning to “subsequently implement a separate process for current possessors of stabilizer-equipped firearms to choose to register such firearms in compliance with the NFA.”

Check out the video below from the Military Arms Channel for more details:

A few thoughts: The head of ATF Deputy Director Regina Lombardo admitted back in November that she has had communication with the Biden team. After this “communication” which the Biden team put forth their desire for aggressive anti-gun action, the ATF raided multiple companies involved in 80% lower manufacture. They also are obviously looking into banning/regulating stabilizing braces and creating the largest gun registry in United States history.

Folks, this is what we have to look forward to over the next 4 years. The Biden-Harris presidential campaign announced that they back the most radical anti-gun policies ever suggested in modern times. Every option will be explored to diminish and reduce the Rights guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment. With the high likelihood that Democrats will take the Senate – it does not look good.

What will gun owners do if these potential gun control actions become reality? If they do not stand together our Rights will no doubt be picked apart.

If voting no longer works.. there isn’t much you can do legally, other than wait for it to swing back the other way. I do so love the bold statements frustrated people make.. cold dead hands and all that.. and maybe it will come to that, but I doubt it..
My future daughter in law was required to get vaccinated AND she is required to carry her CDC Vaccination card as a condition of her employment… Of course it isn’t a vaccination at all.. it is an untested gene therapy.. That digression to say .. If they can force the population to take untested gene therapy to work, buy food, receive insurance or benefits.. what chance do guns really have .. Not much if they do it gradually.. They are just boiling frogs ..
I don’t even have teh words..

Well pal, I’m an Oath taker and an Oath Keeper so yes, Cold Dead Hands goes for me. I am glad that I had no interest in the short barrel rage but I stand with those who want the right to own them.

Obviously we are going to lose ground to “common sense gun reforms” eye roll…. It’s as yet hard to determine just how bad it could get, I’d bet real bad. Will the Repubs still control the senate come January 6th? Even if they do, how squishy will they be? The Supreme Court has always held that congress has the right to regulate, but with limits. The Dems will attempt to regulate the shit out of this, believe me, their target is to ban every semi-auto firearm in the country. While they might get by with some things such as banning 80% lowers, heavy regulation of a host of other items, and absurd taxes on items like ammo, SCOTUS will have the final say when it comes to such things as internet sales of parts/accessories, and bans of whole categories of firearms. How closely will SCOTUS follow Justice Thomas’s majority opinion from 1994’s Staples v. United States? How much weight will they give Justice Scalia’s Heller opinion? Truth is it’s going to get ugly before we know the answers…..

As to ATF…until you change the law, Gun Control Act of 1934, you will get various interpretations of what weapons are restricted, based upon the political “leadership”. By allowing bureaucratic agencies to make enforceable regulations based loosely upon the written law, these things will always happen. And since our politicians rarely read the laws they pass, let alone write them, they are always full of “leeway”.
