The new Healthcare Bill is scheduled to be voted on today. Based on what I have heard I’m not in favor. I don’t understand how the “right” bill cannot be put together by House of Representivies Republican’s. Last I read the inclusion of an allowance for insurance companies to cross state lines creating competition has been omitted from the bill.
We’ll see.

The terrorist attack near the Parliament in London is extremely unfortunate but a reminder of two things:
- The popular European refugee acceptance program continues to show just how dangerous it is. Between the violent rapes and assaults – importing terrorists into your own country is…well….just stupid. Interesting how the description of the attacker has come out in the British press as an “Asian” man. I have seen pictures of the terrorist lying on a stretcher and he looks Arabic to me. The story still developing.
- The anti-gun establishment in England provides no ability for citizens to protect themselves nor for most police to do the same. Latest reports have the attacker fighting through multiple police officers who were UNARMED. Ridiculous.

The variation of temperatures here is the South has been crazy. Tuesday it was 88 degrees. A week or so ago we had a snow storm and sub-freezing temps. No wonder so many people around hee are getting sick.
About 6 hours after this picture was taken all the snow was gone.

Seeds will start going in the ground within a few weeks. I’m way behind with the garden but I can get caught up with 5-6 hours of solid work one Saturday.

There’s a lot of chatter on the ‘net about a new survival book that has come out. I haven’t had a chance to check it out but it looks really good. It is Extreme Wilderness Survival. Going to order me a copy.
