    I greatly appreciate McCain’s military service, the courage he demonstrated during that service and the commitment he had towards his fellow prisoners of war. That was however a long time ago and does not earn him our undying loyalty. Nor does it excuse his now long list of regrettable actions and comments. Like so many others, he has been in Washington far too long…

      I think John Kerry was held up as some kind of war hero also. That fact is while we should honor everyone for their service if they service, it doesn’t make what they say or stand for today correct. Benedict Arnold served also for the record!!! McCain need to retire, it’s clear old age is affecting his brain from what I saw in the Comey hearings.

    Was McLame once a hero? Not in my mind but I can understand why some might think so. I say he’s a rotten to the core traitor and should be executed as such.

    Did you know that if we had 2 x 6 year terms.. that 212 congressional seats replaced.

    Gen, Thomas Gage tended to trust others in proportion to their rank, and genuinely believed that the opinion of the ruling elites was what really mattered in the world, McCain and his cohorts prove history does repeat itself if we do not learn from it. This was taken from the book, Paul Revere’s Ride by David H. Fischer.

    @John Gault, Oren,

    Please look up USS Forrestal+John McCain. You might feel otherwise after reading about this man and his ‘exploits’.
