A recent addition to the camper is the Stevens Model 320 below. This is a 12 gauge shotgun.

With the difficulty of obtaining ammunition, many new gun buyers are going to shotguns. With that said shotgun ammunition is also in short supply.
I keep my eye out whenever I venture into any business that carries ammunition and I’ve grabbed some 00-Buck and slugs recently.

At my age and physicalness, 20’s are the way we go. I have extensions for the 1100’s and 870’s we (as a family) have. Good stuff, 20’s are a bit more difficult than 12’s to install, but well worth the hassle and price.
What kind of buttstock do you have on that bad boy?

I authorized a 100% disability for a recruit going through P.O.S.T. at the retired Rancho Seco nuclear plant near Sacramento.
Firing a 12-gauge as instructed destroyed everything within six inches of the buttstock.
She is permanently crippled.
I also recommend semi-auto instead of pump.
The recoil feels softer and spread in comparison.
Continuing into Post-Apoch with a half-function body seems like a particularly poor idea.
