Book.

I just started writing a new book. Unlike my last, this one I’m planning the storyline, the characters, subplots, settings, and timelines. The story is to take place in the Spring of 2022 in the midst of continued inflation, political corruption, record deficits, governmental overreach, and social divide. Events transpire that shape the future of this country.

“Here’s a hint from the book.”

Writing in this manner requires thinking ahead and “predicting” the future. Sure, the book is fiction, but, in an effort to make it as realistic as possible I’m considering what might happen, could happen, and in some cases what is likely to occur. Predicting the future is certainly an effort in futility as there are far too many variables to consider. As part of developing storylines, substantial research is being conducted.

So – another prepper fiction book? There’s a ton of them. I’ll add one to the mix and hopefully create something just a bit different.

Feel free to share any thoughts on plot ideas down in the comments.

Take care all.

There is always room for another prepper fiction book. I find I learn more from them sometimes than in prepper manuals. For me personally I’d love to see a strong female character who doesn’t need looking after but complements the strong male character where they face the uncertainty together, planning, fighting, side by side .

Absolutely Issy!! I like that idea. I have only read a couple prepper fiction books that had strong female characters. Good advice!

How about repercussions from a meteorite exploding at the South Pole. Tsunamis and the sun blacked out for months. Food crops destroyed. A few lone powerful people are able to survive in underground shelters. Those of wealth have mostly left to endure living on Venus. An alien spaceship arrives and is able to help restore Earths atmosphere and assist with infrastructure needs…….

But bad orange man is gone, there’s no problems with in the United States any longer, we’re living in a great utopian society of unicorns, rainbows and universal basic income!!! It’s grrrrrrrrrrreat! Says the nightly propaganda machine at six and eleven.
I did really enjoy your first book, looking forward to see how this one develops.

Good luck on your writing. I am currently writing my own book and am still in the self editing phase of my solar glare book. Best wishes and enjoy.

You may want to think about the private companies such as elxsa, Facebook and others working with the government. They report anything they feel is against the ever changing government rules of what isn’t considered white supremacist or anti whatever the current flavor of the month. The government then arrests and re educates any children to become citizens of the state.
