Those of us that see what is on the horizon. Those of us that see what is coming. We prepare. We know it’s the right thing to do. Although we do not know the exact timing, we know what we must do.

I know what I must do. But, in my family, I’m considered paranoid and should be on medication. I can always blame it PTSD from Vietnam. Maybe. But I will keep on prepping. I recently found a site for restaurant supplies. Thought I would share it with everyone. https://www.webstaurantstore.com/.
I ordered dried peas and beans along with Martha White Self Rising buttermilk cornmeal mix. The corn meal mix came in 5 pound bags and total of 240 pound. All total it was a little over 340 pounds. I repackaged everything into 5 gallon food grade buckets with mylar bags and air scavenger envelopes then sealed the mylar bags before sealing the buckets. I’d recommend them as a source if you are looking for one. Even with all of the criticism I get, I keep on going. Currently, I’m clearing one bay of the two car garage to build out a one side to close in and air condition the space. This will be a tornado shelter and prepping storage. I know it is not as secure as a lot of “bunkers” but it will have to do.

  Thanks for the link Oren – I’ll check it out. Sounds like you continue to make great strides in your prepping. If things get bad remember what all those thought of your “ridiculous” behavior and don’t hold back a “you should have listened”…. 😉
