With the recent 1 year anniversary of the Las Vegas shooting in which a bump fire stock was used, the apparent ban of the firearm accessory is in the news once again. President Trump continues to insist that a ban is coming within the next several weeks.
While I am not a fan of the bump fire stock – they should not be banned. The banning is merely another ploy to please those gun control advocates who fail to understand the 2nd Amendment – as well as hardly have any firearm knowledge whatsoever. There are many in the firearm community who are stating that if this goes through Trump will lose many valuable votes in 2020. I especially would be displeased with his actions if he fails to secure something for the concession(build a wall!!!).
Currently, the proposed ruling on the bump fire ban will literally demand that all bump fire stocks and similar devices be turned in – or destroyed. There is no grandfathering in. If you continue to possess it after the specified date you will be in violation and I would assume be guilty of committing a felony.
Make me want to go out and buy one right now!
It’s an interesting phycological phenomenon that as soon as the government – or anyone else for that matter – says “You can’t have one of those XXXXXXX“, I want one. Maybe it’s just me.
Many in the gun community are also suggesting that the proposed ban will also include binary and similar triggers that dramatically increase the rate of fire in many semi-auto’s.

The House of Representatives is heading to be controlled by the gun-control friendly Democrat party. A new round of elections in the Senate, as well as the Presidential election, will be taking place in 2020. Nothing is certain as to the outcome. There is no better time than now to stock up on full capacity magazines, firearms, and ammunition. This is not fear mongering. Stocking up now is merely a commonsense approach in response to what is very possible. If not in 2020 it’s only a matter of time before the next gun control scare takes place.
Looking back at a very useful article published here on 1776PatriotUSA last month (September 13, 2018) entitled Basic Hurricane Preparedness it was mentioned that listening to the radio for weather updates was important. I’d like to take that a little step further and expand upon the importance of the AM/FM radio when the SHTF, whether that would be a weather-related situation or man-made, and particularly those radios that can be charged using a hand crank power generation system.
Without trying to put a jinx on anyone’s life here, it’s pretty easy to understand how being prepared for an emergency can only be deemed as a positive thing, especially when the reality is that many emergency situations can occur with little or no advance warning.
When these situations do arise though, a radio will be the most reliable means of gathering up-to-date information about what’s going on, what and what not to do, and where’s safe and where’s not safe to go.
So, in the interest of being prepared for the worst that life can throw at you, let’s take a look at some tips for finding the best and most dependable radios for when disaster strikes!
Why a hand crank rather than a standard radio?
First of all, any AM/FM radio will be better than having no radio at all, and that’s a fact, but what will you do when your radio only uses mains electricity and the power goes down, which is highly likely no matter what the crisis?

We know the Deep State and the Left is getting highly aggressive in their battle against Trump, Patriots, and Constitutional Conservatives in America. The recent Op-Ed in the New York Times by an Anonymous, supposed Senior White House Staffer states there is a group within the White House undermining the President. The Russian Collusion investigation is nothing more than a soft coup. Democrats are savoring a November blue wave so they can impeach Trump and carry forward their agenda of division and governmental dependence.
Back in August of 2016, James Wesley Rawles over at SurvivalBlog.com wrote a post I found shocking. He suggested the election of Hillary Clinton would bring a serious restriction on our 1st Amendment rights leading to the shutting down of certain websites and alternative news sources. He suggests an all-out attack could be launched against many of us that promote the truth and what America was founded on. At the time I thought this was rather sessional. Now? Not so much.

Now that Hillary (“Hitlery”) Rodham Clinton (HRC) has received the Democratic Party nomination for president, there is a strong likelihood that she will win the election in November and then be enthroned as president in January of 2017. I predict that she will waste no time in launching an onslaught of punitive new policies via executive orders, presidential memoranda, and policy directives promulgated through her cabinet and Federal agencies to eviscerate our Constitutional rights (most notably the 1st and 2nd Amendments). A key goal of this campaign will be silencing dissent in the alternative press and the American blogosphere. Given HRC’s history in government “service”, her outlook on life, her socialist agenda, and her vindictiveness, I anticipate that any or all of the following measures will be undertaken by the HRC Administration:
The Department of Justice (DOJ) will be used to selectively prosecute dissenters for “hate speech”. For instance, simply objecting to illegal immigration or state sponsored relocation of Muslims will be called “evidence of hate.” They will also declare blogs, news sites, and podcasts to be “public accommodations” and hence saddle them with a long list of new restrictions that would effectively muzzle them from making any comments opposed to HRC’s agenda and “protected” classes. Even the use of “trigger words” could be restricted.
The Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) will be used to target dissenters who make any comments about any corporations, mutual funds, or banks, for “operating as unregistered investment advisors”.
The Federal Election Commission (FEC) will be used to target Libertarians and other dissenters for “unlawful campaigning”.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will use their newly-assumed powers over the Internet to enforce a new radicalized version of the moribund Fairness Doctrine upon bloggers, vloggers (video bloggers), podcasters, as well as newspapermen, magazine writers, and talk radio hosts. Under this new and improved fairness policy, any media outlet that is deemed a public accommodation will be forced to free of charge provide equal space to assorted perverts, leftists, and Social Justice Warriors. The Transportation Security Agency (TSA) will be used to limit the travel of anyone deemed by HRC’s cronies to be an Enemy of the State (through expansion of the No Fly List, Terror Watch List, and Selectee List).
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will crack down on producers of raw milk and nutritional supplements (and also on the bloggers who promote them).
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will prosecute anyone operating unlicensed drones weighing more than just a few ounces.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) will use both its own agents and paid (or coerced) surrogate agent provocateurs to infiltrate militias, patriot groups, and secessionist organizations. There, they will foment schemes that can be prosecuted under loosely-worded Federal conspiracy laws. (This is precisely what was done with the Bundy Ranch and Malheur Wildlife Refuge protestors.)
Working in conjunction with the FCC, the U.S. Coast Guard will board any ship within Territorial Waters that they suspect of operating an unlicensed transmitter.
I can see all of this coming, and I refuse to be muzzled. I aim to misbehave. If need be, I will relocate so that I can still blog freely. In anticipation of HRC’s possible upcoming coronation, here are some possible countermeasures for my fellow bloggers to seriously consider:
Contract for the use of an offshore server in a country that has minimal influence from the United States government, and move your web pages there.
Get set up for encrypted e-mail. (The free GPG software installed on your local PC works quite well. And for those who are less tech savvy, the paid Unseen.is service in Iceland works fine.)
Post provisos on your web site that are similar to my own. (Most importantly, these provisos must declare that you do not operate a “public accommodation.”)
Buy an Iridium satellite telephone and a set of Iridium international power adapters. (Unlike cell phones or other sat phones, calls made from Iridium constellation phones can be traced only to a particular oval satellite “footprint” that measures hundreds of miles across.)
Buy several inexpensive prepaid “burner” cell phones. Pay greenback cash for these phones, and use an assumed name when you eventually activate them.
Buy a nondescript camping trailer or RV and quietly (via face-to-face contacts only) develop a “hospitality list” of like-minded families who own parcels of land that you can bounce between, in the event that you need to take refuge.
Buy a USB external long range Yagi wireless antenna to use with your laptops. (The standoff distance that these provide will make it harder to pinpoint your location when using a public wi-fi hotspot.)
Buy a batch of at least 40 inexpensive 2 GB USB memory sticks that you can use to physically mail (or courier) digital content, to keep your locale secret.
Make sure that your passport is updated.
Do some research to develop a short list of countries where you would consider relocating. Ideally, a country should have respect for the freedom of speech, minimal taxation, minimal influence from the United States government, and NO rendition (extradition) treaty with the United States.
Establish an offshore bank account.
Beyond just offshore residency, if you can afford it, then buy a second passport. (Typically, this is done with a “Citizenship Through Investment” program.)
Via encrypted e-mail, develop contacts with foreign bloggers, and get their tentative agreement to post your ghost-written articles, if circumstances change.
Pray hard.

Division in this country continues to increase and talk of a second civil war is ramping up. While many believe the possibility of a second civil war(CW2) is ridiculous – it’s a fact that more and more people are seeing the possibility. When and who are on each side? That’s the $50,000 dollar question and giving an accurate prediction would be an effort in futility.
Much of this division is directly related to politics and socio-economic beliefs. I believe most Americans regardless of there political leanings are fairly common in their beliefs. So, why the increasing division? The media is largely responsible for motivating one group against the other. It is also very true that the belief systems within the Democrat and Republican parties have changed. The Democrat party has swung way to the Left, while the Republican party has slowly moved to the Right. Those on the Left are now suggesting violence against the Right on a regular basis. This is a significant and important change as the amount of violence at protests, and against the Right is increasing. Regardless – Congress is full of corrupt politicians on both sides.
With the #NeverTrump and #Impeach45 movements gaining ground in the Left, along with the midterm elections fast approaching there is growing concern that a Democrat-controlled Congress will lead to Trump being removed from office. The following video discusses that possibility.

Surviving is all about preparation. Adequate preparation covers self-defense, resource management, first aid, and a number of other skill sets. Keeping yourself safe is of the utmost importance when the situation changes and this starts with easily accessible products, such as body armor.
Body armor comes in many shapes and types, but you should have a good understanding of what it can and cannot do for you in all situations. Essentially, no body armor is 100% bulletproof and different levels are only suited against the type of bullets they are tested against. This means that you should carefully examine the potential threats you are likely to face and choose your vest accordingly. For example, a bodyguard or security agent working in close proximity to multiple people will likely need a carrier with combined ballistic and stab/spike resistance.

High levels of civil unrest, protests and attacks
The economic, politic and social scenery of urban centers these days is rapidly changing. This requires civilians to exhibit a constant state of preparedness for the worst. Buying quality body armor is a safe(ty) investment that can be the difference between life and death. Although you should generally avoid any large gatherings of people due to the possibility for a terrorist attack and/or quickly escalating violent clashes with police forces – if necessary, it’s always better to be equipped with a protective vest in such situations. Level IIIa vests are lightweight enough to allow you to move quickly, but cover all weapons you are likely to encounter. In addition, they can be fitted with ceramic or metal plates to increase the level of protection if things get particularly bad.
The bottom line is that no one can be sure whether or not they will find themselves in a potentially life-threatening situation at any given moment. Being prepared is part of the strategy to say alive and safe. Body armor can significantly increase your chances of survival both in your line of work and in an urban setting, but you need to learn to rely mostly on your skills, speed and ability to plan ahead. Use body armor as a supplement to your survival strategy and it will fulfill its intended use.
That being said, if you are truly preparing for the worst, and you expect to face particularly extreme threats, you may want to consider a tactical vest. These vests, similar to overt vests, are worn over clothing and are more durable than covert body armor. They are extremely protective, offering upgrades to protect the upper arms, throat, neck, and groin area. Even though this type of armor is heavier and bulkier – it is unmatched in the level of protection if offers and will surely hold up in the direst of circumstances.
There is no such thing as a handgun that is best for women. Everyone regardless of gender has strengths, weaknesses, and preferences. The old adage….“Just get her a revolver” is both an insult and dangerous. Far too often a woman walks into a gun shop with very little experience and is sold a revolver. I understand the concept, however, every owner of a gun should practice and train so they are capable – no matter the gender. Most women(and men) are perfectly capable of shooting Glocks, 1911’s, Sheilds, etc.
So, why not treat a woman as a shooter rather than an incapable victim? The reason might be as simple as people are resistant to change. Come on guys, how many of us have dreamed of being the hero and saving the damsel in distress? To believe that women are just as capable of defending themselves may play physiological chess with your manhood, but it doesn’t change the fact that they are.

Let’s stop recommending that cute pink pistol just to lure women into purchasing a firearm that is clearly not the best tool for the job.
Listening to Episode 162 of The Forward Observer Podcast was extremely interesting. The host discussed that the Swedish government has put out a guide on what to do should a major disaster occur effecting citizens everyday lives. More to the point – the guide’s true purpose and origin is the result of a possible Russian invasion. Due to Sweden’s inability to defend itself, they direct the population to behave in a manner that promotes guerilla warfare and distrust of governmental assistance after said conflict.

General “stocking up” advice is provided for essentials such as food, water, warmth, and communications. The government promotes “resistance” as a means of fighting back. Beyond a direct physical attack, cyber attack is also mentioned several times.

For less than the cost of a decent dinner out for two people a full-featured short to medium distance communication tool – the Baofeng UV-5R – can be purchased. Extremely popular, the Baofeng is a compact, handheld radio capable of transmitting with 4 watts of power across 136-174 MHz and 400-480 MHz frequencies. It can be programmed with up to 128 channels.
The Baofeng is a ham radio. Transmitting on this radio requires a license in order to do so legally. There are lots of places on the ‘net to get more information on that. The purpose of this post is to provide an assortment of useful frequencies the Baofeng can be programmed for.

Think about that term – “systemic failure”. While many of us focus on concerns for economic collapse, EMP, or some other apocalyptic event, the reality is they all have a common theme – systemic failure. This basically means a mass interruption to the power grid, supply chains, communications, and governmental services.
Here’s the theory: If you are prepared for systemic failure you are pretty much prepared for everything – including the infamous zombie apocalypse.
I’ll continue to publish similar content with an emphasis on independence, being as self-reliant as possible, and minimizing exposure to the overreaching effects of government.

With all the new offerings for defensive pistols on the market, one thing remains crystal clear: The 1911 is far from dead. Armchair firearms experts continue to boast the superiority of their choice thus deifying all others. OPtions are good and the 1911 has been a viable option for numerous decades. The reason why is obvious for those who have owned them. They are reliable, highly accurate, and shoot a cartridge that many feel is a superior manstopper.
The most significant criticism that is fairly accurate for many is that 1911’s are heavy compared to polymer-framed pistols. Consider the Glock 17 9mm fully loaded at 32 ounces compared to a fully loaded full-sized 1911 coming in close to 44 ounces. When carrying as a duty weapon this weight may not be particularly significant. When carrying concealed and living everyday the extra weight may not be welcome.
Enter the Ruger SR1911 Lightweight Commander.
Ruger, known for extreme reliability in their firearms, is producing the Lightweight Commander version of the 1911 with a slighter shorter barrel(4.25″) and an aluminum frame. This combination affords a significant weight reduction of close to 10 ounces. This is significant.
Impressions
Trigger: The aluminum trigger is skeletonized and adjustable. No adjustment was needed and it broke very light and crisp, which aids tremendously in the accuracy department
Mainspring Housing: The mainspring housing is heavily checkered aiding in retention and control of the weapon.
Magazine Well: The magazine well is beveled providing extra space to facilitate magazine insertion. It works well.
Thumb Safety/Hammer: The thumb safety is sized perfectly to provide easy manipulation and clicks on and off very positively. No issues. The hammer is skeletonized with excellent cocking serrations.
Beavertail Safety: The oversized beavertail safety makes for a very comfortable grip and positive function.
Sights: The sights are excellent and are the 3-dot variety with smooth edges to reduce snagging.
Misc: The stainless slide contains deep serrations rearward to assist in cocking. The ejection port is enlarged and flared for positive ejection. The grip feels very nice however I may try some Magpul TSP grip panels or maybe a set of wrap-around Pachmayr’s. The feed ramp is titanium ensuring positive feeding for years to come.
At the Range
Let me cut to the chase and just state for the record this thing shoots awesome. It has been 100% reliable, super accurate, and a joy to shoot. I do not proclaim to be the best pistolsmith however its inherent accuracy utilizing tight tolerances and fit combined with a great trigger makes me look better. I have no doubt in a better shooters hands it will perform much better.

What ammunition did I shoot? Monarch brass 230-grain ball and an assortment of Federal and Winchester White Box ball. No hollowpoints as of yet.
Summary: This is an excellent carry pistol and very capable of putting rounds on target accurately and repeatedly. It’s lightweight makes carrying a bit more comfortable than a regular full-sized 1911. Excellent fit and finish make this an attractive self-defense solutions running a street price of around $800.

As we all go about our day and get together with friends and family for cookouts, let’s remember the true reason Memorial Day. Proudly remember and be thankful for all that served and made the ultimate sacrifice.
When it comes to prepping, one of the most frightening and difficult aspects can be our family members. In my particular situation, I have an elderly father who lives with us that has recently had a serious fall, injured himself, and been diagnosed with dementia.
So the question has arisen in my home: how do we prepare with Pop in such bad health?
The news, however, is not quite so doom and gloom. In fact, every single age group has strengths when crisis strikes. Some of these strengths are obvious (like the fact that youth are energetic) while others are hidden quite well (like the fact that youth can help others be encouraged in a crisis).
This post was designed so that when crisis strikes, you are able to look at your family, friends, and team and know how each member is able to bring a unique power to the group. Without even one member of your team, your team would be more subject to devastation in a crisis. So let’s look at what a few of these strengths are for each age group.
Youth: Youth are both the joy and the bane of modern culture. Their music isn’t as good, their tv shows aren’t as good, and Millennials are, as a group, frustrating to deal with.
But in a crisis, youth have several unique strengths.
First of all, youth have the ability to do work. A lot of work. I was out digging holes for my plants today and my back kept bothering me while I was digging. As a result, I would dig a few holes, take a break, and go back to digging a few more. It was time consuming, tiring, and (worst of all), painful.
My son drives in from work and comes over to lend me a hand. In 15 minutes, he does as much work as I did in an hour. I could have just spit!
But this shows the incredible power that youth possess: their backs don’t burn, their knees don’t ache, and if they’re encouraged and loved the right way, they have an incredible work capacity.
Youth also possess an abundant amount of energy and when morale is down, there isn’t much that makes people happier than seeing hard working young folk.
When it comes to a crisis, youth are at once energetic enough to do hard work and energetic enough to remind those on our team what we are fighting for: love, happiness, and freedom.
Middle Aged Crowd: I firmly and proudly place myself in this category. If you woke up this morning and remembered how good 20, 30, or even 40 felt, then remembered that it’s gonna get a whole lot worse, you’re probably here too!
But my generation has unique strengths in a crisis, particularly the strengths of leadership and creativity.
Let’s face it: young people today are just not wired like we were. I don’t know if it’s the tablets and smartphones or the pitiful educational system in some places, but if I didn’t teach my boys how to hold a hammer, they’d have gone well into their teens and twenties without ever knowing how to drive a nail.
Young people are creative online, but not in person. My generation has the unique strength that we can see a problem and find a physical solution. We can help others see our vision and guide them onto the path of help.
When it comes to a crisis, no one is better suited to lead than those who are aging in body but young in heart and mind.
My generation is also capable of doing (some!) physical labor. In my opinion, my generation has excellent social skills and can work hard to keep others in line and happy. Because the middle age crowd serves as a bridge between youth and elderly folks, we are the ideal leaders and strategists when SHTF.
Speaking of the elderly folks…
The Well-Experienced: Those among us who have plenty of life experience make for incredible companions during a crisis. My father, though he has dementia and is a fraction of his former self, is one of the most courageous and loving men I know.
He’s a manly man too!
Those among us who are widely versed in the ways of the world have a set of strengths that other age groups simply can’t match in any way, shape, form, or fashion: you bring the wisdom, love, and guidance of a life time.
There will never be a time when people need more sage advice than during a crisis. When SHTF, emotions will be high. People will be frustrated, hurt, and will feel alone. Never before has there been such a need for those of us who have experienced those emotions to share their wisdom.
If you or your loved ones fit into the well-aged crowd, know this: those in the well-aged crowd know things that I don’t. You can have deeply personal conversations with your team. You can bring stability, hope, and courage, reminding those that bad times have happened in the past and will happen again, but that good times are coming.
Those of us who are experienced at life also bring another unique skillset: for most of you, you grew up outside, in the real world! I can’t tell you how many times my father has given me gardening tips that sound crazy but work out better than I could ever imagine.
Dad knows what kind of foods you can eat in the wild, how to hunt, how to grow food, how to identify poisons, and who knows what else. If you are well-experienced in life, you bring a knowledge of the outdoors that the modern man or woman simply does not possess.
If you are in this crowd, do not lose hope. Effective survival teams do not happen without you.
Conclusion
Whatever your team composition is, whatever your family looks like, whoever you’re stuck with in a crisis, know that every age group brings specific skills, abilities, and strengths.
Do not forget to value the strengths that aren’t physical, as these strengths are often even more important. Wherever you fit in the age range, know that you are valuable and that the team is not as effective without you in it.
After the election of 2016 many people came under the impression that all in the universe will be made right and the path to a state of bliss was all but certain. Much like in 2008 where many on the Left thought Obama was the second coming and the Messiah, reality is often quite different than a believed fantasy. The need to consider threats to America and you as a citizen has never been greater. Liberalism is absolutely a threat to America.
Those of us old enough to remember how things used to be can see just how this country has changed. Those of us with enough initiative to learn some history can really see just how far this country has fallen.
Back in the 50’s, Communists established goals as represented in the book – The Naked Communist. These goals were put forth to destroy America. Here is a partial list:
Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
Infiltrate the press.
Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”
Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.”
Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”
Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture—education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity, masturbation and easy divorce.
Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents.
Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use “united force” to solve economic, political or social problems.
When reviewing this partial list it sure seems like the Communist agenda has had some success. Modern-day communists are now called…..Liberals.
The Mainstream Media
The mainstream media is a massively powerful influence on public opinion and as such their biased and slanted so-called “journalism” can absolutely influence elections.
Consider how DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile lost her CNN job due to leaking questions to Hillary Clinton prior to DNC primary debates and townhall events. While CNN did the right thing by terminating her employment the only reason they did so was public opinion. The corruption within the DNC and news media is blatantly clear within this one example. The entire Democrat primary election was rigged to ensure Clinton beat challenger Bernie Sanders. This is a proven fact yet the MSM media failed to report on it as the election-fixing news story it was.
The MSM continues to report news leaving out important information as it fails to fit their political and social agenda. One such example is the frequent absence of the ethnicity or legal status of suspected criminals. Further examples of the agenda-based bias can be frequently seen in the amount of time news agencies report on a story. CNN has spent countless hours reporting scandals in the White House over relevant immigration efforts and bills submitted by Trump. In fact – research indicated CNN spent 11 times more airtime on scandals.
The biased Liberal mainstream media is brainwashing millions of voters every day with twisted facts, theories, and outright lies. They are in fact manipulating elections and societal beliefs daily and this is to the detriment of the country.
Social Justice
Social justice is increasingly popular as a large segment of the population believes that fairness can be carried out across all aspects of life and human existence.
Gender, sexuality, wealth distribution, race, culture, and healthcare are examples where social justice proponents seek to create balance and create fairness throughout society. For many Liberals, the belief that no one can lose translates to there can be no winners. Consider something as commonsense as which bathroom someone should use. The Liberal Left created a solution for a problem that didn’t exist all in the name of fairness. The reality is the bathroom issue created lawsuits, policy changes, legislation, and crimes all due to trying to compensate for a tiny fraction of a percent of the population which suffer from mental health issues.
Social justice warriors now state that gender is not only a choice – but that the number of genders just might be infinite. While the vast majority of us have always considered the choice of gender was determined by whether you had a penis or a vagina, the powerful Liberal agenda has moved forward with the notion that how someone feels is the preferred method for determining gender. This concept may appear laughable to most but there is a growing sentiment that we must accept all people regardless of how insane and unhealthy their beliefs or actions are.
Social justice warriors are convincing generations of young adults of a reality that appears twisted and backward to most. Consider the Boy Scouts. Generations of young boys growing up to be young men have been positively affected by the guidance of the Boy Scouts. Due to pressure from Leftwing organizations, the Boy Scouts are now just “Scouts BSA”. Social justice warriors put the screws to the organization and now they allow girls as members. The Girl Scouts will continue to be called as such and only allow girls in.
Anti-Christian Sentiment
The founding of this country has its origins based in religious prosecution in Europe that caused Christians to seek a land where they could worship freely. Christians have been targeted by the Liberal Left merely for having beliefs with which they disagree with. In 2012 the DNC removed all references to God in their official platform. Who can’t remember Democrats booing God at the 2016 Democrat National Convention?
Political history shows that Liberal politicians continue to relax their religious beliefs in an effort to gain votes. As society has distanced itself from God so have Liberal politicians. While many claim to be Christians – they also promote policies that are absolutely anti-Christian. The Left seem very quick to defend religious freedom for Muslims in many circumstances, but then allow Christian religious freedoms to be trampled. Far too often the perspective of the Left is freedom from religion rather than freedom of religion.
Illegal Immigration
Illegal immigration is one of the largest threats to the American way of life today. Many of the estimated 12 million illegal immigrants currently in this country came to America to tap into its resources, not for the love of freedom. They brought their own culture and ways of life and refuse to adapt and conform to an American way of life.
Consider the culture of the countries many of these illegal’s are coming from. While most originate from Mexico countless millions come from South America, Asia, and the Middle East. The culture in many of these countries is substantially incompatible with American lifestyles. Many of these people have values that even fail to come close to those which most American’s live by.
Liberal special interest groups and politicians promote acceptance of these invaders while ignoring the damage being brought forth to this country. Why would they do this? The answer is simple: votes. Immigrants – both illegal and legal tend to vote Democrat. By bringing in more and more illegals and pushing for amnesty they very well could add 12+ million legal Democrat voters. This would be a gamechanger.
That’s Not All
Liberals control the mainstream media, have initiated social justice, they lower morals in America with their anti-Christian sentiment, and promote invasion with illegal immigration. That’s not all by a longshot. Consider the increasingly violent outbursts by Liberals at protests(Antifa) as well as the insanity proposed by the activist celebrities. Acid, urine, bricks, and glass have been thrown at Republicans at protests and celebrities have called for the White House to be destroyed and Trump to be killed.
These are seriously tumultuous times. A team of Republicans playing baseball were actually shot at and injured by some Liberal psychopath. We are seeing just the beginning of what is to come.
An entire generation of “snowflakes” has led to the pussification of America as Liberal psychology has infiltrated the family, the schools, and even many churches. These weakminded individuals have not developed the ability to carry on constructive thinking and are indoctrinated in public schools across America. When a generation of Americans require a safe space because the word Trump is painted on a college bench – the generation has been immensely damaged.
The methods by which Liberals are destroying America is nearly endless.
What Does The Future Hold
As we look to the mid-term COngressional elections and the 2020 Presidential election we have reason to be concerned. While the Left talks of Russia influencing elections we all know that it is the mainstream media that truly has the power to change results. Both the Deep State and the Liberal Left are well motivated and funded to battle for control of the United States government. Should Democrats take control of Congress – and win the presidency in 2020 – America as we know it is over.
With a successful election cycle, Liberals will bring in amnesty creating millions of Democrat voters almost guaranteeing Liberal leadership for years to come. What will be their endgame be? Bigger government, strict gun control, higher taxes, greater regulation – and fewer personal freedoms.
What To Do?
The vast majority of us have little control over the issues presented above. What we can do is insulate ourselves from the negative effects of society and government. Reducing debt, moving to freedom-loving states and communities, creating secondary streams of income, and become as self-reliant as possible should be a goal for those who believe dark times are ahead.
What else?Pray. Pray that the American citizen wakes up to what is happening and not succumb to the senseless gibberish put forth by the likes of Maxine Waters, Elizabeth Warren, and Joe Biden.

Actual gun confiscation has started in several states. Laws passed allowing gun confiscation based on apparent mental health issues are now providing law enforcement a means which to enter someones home and forcibly take their guns – when no crime has been committed.
Although the numbers are small and the vetting processes are substantial – this is a slippery slope to go down. My own opinion is we need to be expanding gun rights – not gun control. Many gun control laws on the books now should be removed allowing law-abiding citizens to acquire gun easier – not more difficult. With a Republican-controlled Congress and Presidency, this should be enacted. Unfortunately, the feckless leadership in the GOP are willing to expand gun control rather than stand for the 2nd Amendment.

It is often noted that America is more divided now than at any point in history – possibly including during the Civil War. Modern technology and communication methods afford people a means which to promote their beliefs without taking up arms and resorting to violence – usually. Anyone who has lived through four or more decades can reflect back on society and see that it is declining more rapidly every year. Case in point: As a teenager, I remember Olivia Newton-John released the single “Physical”. It was met with shock and horror as its suggestive lyrics awakened a generation and the upbeat song was banned on many radio stations. Compared to the music and entertainment commonly viewed today it was timid. That which was once deemed taboo ends up being accepted and normalized. This trend will continue until things such as transgenderism, pedophilia, and beastiality is no longer scoffed at but accepted and even embraced by most – or at a minimum many.
What does this have to do with the upcoming elections in 2018 and 2020? I’m merely setting the premise that times have changed and continue to change not for the better. While much of America identify themselves as Democrat or Republican from a political perspective, reviewing Congress and its actions over the last few decades it has mattered little who ruled the White House or Congress.
Gun Control
At this moment in time, the Left is calling for significant gun control measures due to recent mass shootings in Las Vegas and in schools. Many Republicans – including President Trump – are providing some level of support towards more gun control. This is shocking as he ran and garnered significant support with his strong 2nd Amendment stance.

Many avid firearm enthusiasts and 2nd Amendment supporters are stating they will hold their votes and abandon President Trump and any Republican who supports any gun control measures. This may very well amount to a Democrat majority in Congress within the next four years.
Deficit Spending
The recent $1.3 trillion dollar omnibus bill passed by Congress and signed by President Trump have Conservatives jumping the MAGA ship. Conservative leaders voted against this bill due to the deficit-raising obscene level of spending as well as the ridiculous pork-barrel programs included.
This lack of fiscal responsibility will cause many who supported him in 2016 to jump ship – and all those Republicans who voted for the massive Bill.
Violence on the Left
The Liberal Left have preached peace and non-violence for decades while suggesting the Right is evil with their guns. It takes only a small amount of observation to see a trend of Liberal violence. It takes very little research effort to see Liberals calling for violence – including murder – against Conservatives and Republicans. From celebrities to politicians and common folks – it is becoming more and more acceptable to promote and suggest violence against the Right. While it these suggestive comments occur on both sides – it is the Left that acts on them.
Look at the majority of those who carry out mass shootings. Liberal. Look at the protests that turn violent. Liberals. Look at those who call for the death of Trump on a regular basis. Liberals.
The reason for pointing out this trend toward voilence is that the Liberal side of America is becoming very motivated and active. This will contnue into the election cycles.
Societal Division
Abortion, religion, gun control, marijuana, transgender rights, race, immigration, foreign affairs, free speech, education, patriotism, law enforcement, etc. have people growing in numbers on opposite ends of the opinion spectrum. While the fringe groups such as the Alt-Right and Antifa are small in population their numbers are growing. Those with strong beliefs and no consideration for discussion are also growing to such an extent that the words “civil war” are being said more and more frequently.
Time will only tell if the citizens of America can unite under some common ground. With beliefs so far apart and the lack of willingness to compromise many believe a “reset” is inevitable and needed. Whatever it’s called – the fabric of this nation is being torn apart and the question is what will it look like when it’s eventually sewed back together again.
Summary
Should the White House and Congress come under Democrat control over the next 4 years little will change. The Federal Debt will continue to skyrocket and the division in America will continue to grow. Some specific actions will likely take place in the area of gun control, but as history shows it matters little who is in power.
Could this change? It could. If real Conservatives who will stand for the Constitution could be elected a new trend could be started. There are very few indications that this is a realistic possibility.
The meaning and focus of the 2nd Amendment could not be any clearer – “A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”
The current political environment has politicians and many citizens alike, including President Trump, suggesting that further gun control laws need to be implemented. I often find citizens being ignorant of the facts and have a perspective that is misguided while being frustrated and simply jumping on the anti-gun bandwagon. Politicians merely focus on poll numbers as well as anything to push their anti-gun agenda – and next secured reelection – forward.
If you’re a visitor here and are reading this you likely already know that the intent of the 2nd Amendment is directly related to holding the government accountable and has nothing to do with hunting or target practice. The 2nd Amendment was put in place to ensure that the citizens of the United States have the means to overthrow a tyrannical government. Period.
Those who wish to pass gun control laws are attempting to restrict the ability of citizens to react and hold the government accountable. This is the precise reason the 2nd Amendment was included in the Bill of Rights and the words “shall not be infringed” were so plainly included. Any and all gun control laws that restrict the ability to carry forth the reasoning for the 2nd Amendment are unconstitutional.
As far as specific firearms the 2nd Amendment may be referring to it is crystal clear. Military-grade firearms. No exceptions.
Every Patriot that has the ability to purchase a battle rifle should do so as well as stock up on the necessary magazines and ammunition to go along with it. This is a responsibility and a RIGHT, not a privilege.
Some commonsense talk on gun control legislation that is currently being discussed and put into Congress.
While I do not believe there is any reason to panic – do the smart thing and continue to stock up because in 2020 should Congress and the Presidency change to the Left gun control will be at the forefront of political action.

Something I have been slack in is my EDC. I have a few things in my Jeep but as far as an organized EDC kit that has been absent. I picked up a Condor T&T pouch a few months ago and finally got around to throwing some stuff in it. My intended purpose for the EDC kit is purely to organize a variety of items not commonly found in a vehicle but could prove very useful. The construction of the Condor is excellent. The material is something similar to Cordura. Stitching is tight and all seams are double-stitched everywhere. The zipper appears to be oversized for the application which is just fine for me. Seems rugged enough to last years riding in my Jeep or inside a pack.
Features
Size of the pack is 10″ x 7″ x 1.5″. While accurate the thickness of 1.5″ is when empty. Once loaded it expands out and mine is between 3″ and 4″ thick. Weight is just under one pound.
For organizing supplies, the pouch has one internal sleeve, one zipper pocket, and numerous elastic loops of different sizes on both halves. The elastic pockets are sized to hold things like AA batteries up to multi-tools. A lot of gear can be stored for easy access.
The Condor T&T can be mounted via 4 Molle straps or left independent. There are two D-rings on each top corner. These can be used to hang the pouch or attach it using a variety of means.
Summary
At around $25 the Condor T&T is well worth it. Its build quality is excellent and its versatility lends itself to many roles. I can see owning 3-4 of these and use them for things like tools, electronics, and first aid.

A good point he makes is building preps for alternative fuel sources over time. This can get expensive especially if purchasing generators. I recommend concentrating early on with cooking and vehicle fuel sources. A good Coleman camp stove with extra fuel canister is a portable means for cooking. If you have a gas grill at home pick up several extra propane tanks. Purchase several 5-gallon metal gas cans and set up a rotation system.
