Video: ATN X-Sight Day/Night Riflescope

The following video showcases the ATN X-Sight Day/Night Vision Optic. The X-Sight is a high tech digital optic that is capable of shooting(and recording) both at night – and during the day. I own this optic and am very impressed with its capabilities. The X-Sight runs between $550-$680 depending on exact model and where purchased.

I’ll be doing my own review once a dedicated firearm for the X-Sight is purchased. Until then this video provides some good info:

      Patriot – WiFi has to be turned on in order to utilize those available services that require it. Perfectly functional without WiFi.

      Remember – thermal is for finding while night vision is for identification and shooting.

    Yup. Already have gen III night vision but need detection. Have used both since 1980 in the AF (retired and now manage the programs as an AF civilian). Until recently, you had to use one of the other separately.

    About 6 years ago, NVEC and ITT finally developed the holy grail–enhanced night vision devices that fuse both:

    Pricey. However, I’ve recently begun to see refurbished versions of first gen equipment coming onto the market. I’ll keep watching.

    Until then a good med to high res thermal with a good size aperture will have to do for detection. Night vision does not fit this requirement.
