i might add some hard copies of different channel lists in some zip lock bags. they could come in handy. numbered one through whatever so you could say ” go to 2″ without having to say the channel, you know-opsec.
we live 150 miles inland and we use some marine channels as they are seldom used or monitored.
many people here also still use CB’s with SSB a lot, mostly hunters. CB’s have some long range capabilities if set up right with a linear amplifier .
