In this short video, I show a portable commo kit I made out of a couple of Baofeng GT-3TP 8 watt radios. A small pouch with needed cables, charging options, extra batteries, and of course antennas.

Check it out -smash that LIKE button – and please share with like-minded folks.

    good kit!
i might add some hard copies of different channel lists in some zip lock bags. they could come in handy. numbered one through whatever so you could say ” go to 2″ without having to say the channel, you know-opsec.
we live 150 miles inland and we use some marine channels as they are seldom used or monitored.
many people here also still use CB’s with SSB a lot, mostly hunters. CB’s have some long range capabilities if set up right with a linear amplifier .
    Breaker Breaker : )
best of luck to you and MPG.
