Why 1776PatriotUSA?

Confused by the title? That’s OK. Couldn’t figure out what to call this post so I guess I am a bit too.

Why did I call this website 1776PatriotUSA.com? Previous endeavor was solely preparedness-based. Plain and simple. With the direction this country is taking I meant to make this a place of relevant information for an adapting populace. This “populace” includes you, me, and every other like-minded Patriot we can find and convince that deliberate steps must be taken to secure our future.

This isn’t conspiracy. This isn’t crazy talk. This country is threatened from forces both inside AND out. All it takes to see it is someone to open their mind, pay attention – and think for themselves. Oh – and a belief in the Constitution and what the Founders established would be beneficial as well.

The last decade or two have generated societal change so significant that there is actually a debate going on within government as to what bathroom someone should use. Seriously. Government is spending valuable time on this subject. Imagine what Washington, Jefferson, Adams, and Franklin would think. Society has degraded to such a point that the majority of Americans believe that capital punishment is wrong but abortion is OK.

Society has fallen so far that in 2008 a man who said he wanted to fundamentally change the greatest country in the world and sat in a church whose pastors beliefs included “…not God bless America, God damn America…” was actually elected President.

Even after four years in office and well on his way of fundamental change President Obama was re-elected in 2012.

America continues to be fundamentally changed. Changed from a solid foundation of principles and beliefs that if you are a visitor at this website you more than likely believe in. Capitalism has provided an avenue for the United States to grow into an economic superpower providing countless millions with jobs and opportunity. Today there is a growing segment of the population that believes capitalism is evil.

President Obama provided insight into this anti-capitalistic belief system in 2012 when he stated your success is not due to your hard work rather it falls on the backs of others.

Senator Elizabeth Warren continued Obama’s anti-capitalist thoughts in a rant where she continued to proclaim that there is an “underlying social contract” that successful people owe everyone else.

These are leaders in our government.

Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders continue to push the “it’s us against them” rhetoric demonizing successful business people and placing barriers between them and the lower and middle class. Bernie Sanders has tremendous support and is an admitted socialist. Growing up I looked at the United States as a force for freedom against socialism and he we sit with a socialist so close to the White House.

Hillary Clinton is corrupt, dishonest and I am not at all hesitant to use the word evil. The evidence is massive. This women is actually calling the relatives of those killed in Benghazi liars. Unbelievable – yet she receives millions of votes and will very likely be our next President.

Trump? Love or hate him I would prefer him well over Hillary or Bernie any day. He  – like every other candidate – is far from perfect. He has professed his love for this country for decades and while his beliefs may have wavered and changed(like many citizens) his platform is solid. Not perfect – solid.

Back to why I created 1776PatriotUSA.com.

Consider the name. 1776 is significant as it is the year of the Declaration of Independence. The original 13 colonies severed ties with Great Britain and set a path for greatness.  Patriot is what I am and patriotism is what we need more of. Patriotism for me is an emotional thing and difficult to explain. It is a belief in an incredible idea revolving around freedom and liberty – and a moral determination of what is right.  USA is pretty self explanatory.

The future is uncertain and I believe it will be riddled with trouble. I hope to keep 1776PatriotUSA as a portal for navigating the coming storms.  Patriots may find themselves targeted. They may find themselves being victims of prejudice. They may find themselves fighting to take their country back.

As I wrap this up I could have brought up Obama’s celebrations of Islam and suppression of Christianity. I could have brought up the immigrants protesting in the streets, waving another country’s flag – and burning ours. I could have brought up the country’s outcry over the death of a celebrity but near silence over illegals continuing to cross our southern border. No need to. I’m sure you are already well aware.

Thoughts? What do you see coming?

Most of the people you reference above have a common denominator, they are liberals, and most likely social democrat in political persuasion. Snakes in the grass and vicious most likely. Tread with care.

Know what you do with snakes ? We used to cut off the head on the farm..
Know what you do if you can’t see them ?
Set the grass on fire and wait for them to come out .. then cut their heads off..

Just a shovel and a match .. then toss em in the pig pen
      Bad snakes that is

The other way .. less obvious.. throw in a snake of your own that eats snakes..

      Yup

Sadly, for us, you are right on JR and PR. I hope Trump can prevail but I fear Hillary will. I see in our future liberal justices appointed who are also void of morals, clamping down on freedoms, assaulting Christianity, taking our guns, opening the borders to ISIS or any group who wants to see America fall. Forcing eventual civil war in the streets of every American city. Our military is being intentionally weekend with Obama’s homosexual, transsexual agenda; forcing our daughter’s and granddaughters to serve in the military in combat zones and soon enough to be drafted. And I fear the Lord has turned us over to our wickedness to let us destroy ourselves. Not all will agree but we need many things including a Spiritual Awakening of 2 Chronicles 7:14 kind – if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. God help us, open our eyes that we may see! Keep Looking UP

I agree that America has lost the favor of the Lord. I don’t believe the voters have elected President in a long time. I think George Soros and the Bilderbergers are the ones who install the “pResident” in recent times. They’re the ones responsible for backing all the degradation of the country’s morality, the destruction of our borders, and the ones who finance groups of filth like Black Liars Chatter.
With the utter corruption and vote fraud which has become the norm, it is hard to have an optimistic outlook. We as a dying nation truly need to turn to our Lord in sincere prayer.

  4. Capt.Michaels says:

Please, please…rent or buy the movie by Dinesh D’Souza. America, Imagine a world without her. For those that have seen it you know what I’m talking about. This movie hits the nail on the head and smacks liberals down with the real truth. You will be enlightened and motivated!

  5. MarkOwen says:

The left wing power brokers are at this very minute trying to find ways to make sure Trump is not going to be the President. All working behind the peoples backs to install who they think can run the country better than We The People. Even now they are finding voting improprieties in the California elections. Does that surprise anyone? People being told their votes wouldn’t count and given some kind of weird ballot, Sanders actually won but it was all given to Hillary. The whole process stinks of corruption, from Gov. Jerry Brown all the way up to the top! We’ve all been praying but it seems the Lord isn’t willing to pull us out of this one.

    1. JR says:

Agree Mark though I feel even if Trump gets in AND truly has the right mindset to make the correct changes COngress will not cooperate.

  6. Andy says:

I feel Hillary will become our next President of the United States, we will see fundamental change in America and our way of life will never be the same. I believe that not only is leadership the problem but also society, the degradation of America has come to the point that we are on our own. We must take responsibility for ourselves and our families. There is know one to help only clean up, there isn’t enough of anything and they are holding back the tide of a societal collapse. Will we have laws yes, but I feel in the next 10 years we will not have order. Our fundamental way of life is going to be change forever………………….

  7. Gene says:

I have voted for the lesser of two evils in past elections but I cannot vote for the Evil of Two Lessers. Everytime I actually think I may vote for tRump he opens his pie-hole and blows it. He will not “get” my vote just because he put an ‘R’ behind his name and he’s done nothing to earn it as of yet….we shall see what the next few months bring but I doubt anything will change as he’s stated that he doesn’t need or want my vote.

    1. JR says:

I understand Gene. I agree Trump says some things that especially when first heard sound ridiculous. Many of those things after the shock value wear off I end up agreeing with. He is not a politician and speaks plainly with no political correctness. I truly understand what your saying and there is a lot of time till the election. Who knows? He might lose my vote.

  8. Steve j says:

GENE, I feel like you do about Trump; furthermore I think he is dangerously “unhinged”. Sadly since I’ve been voting, (1972) it too often seems like we’re choosing the lesser of two evils.

ROURKE, regarding capitalism I think it’s a very complex situation. I love what this great country allowed me to do: provide a safe and comfortable life for my family. My boys all have good jobs and work hard. My wife and I are by no means wealthy, but are comfortable in retirement b/c we were careful with our money all our lives. And I am the first person in my family to graduate from college.. few other societies would enable an “average Joe” to do that!
But big money is hijacking our nation. 1) The ratio of CEO to worker pay in 1965 was 20:1; it is now 300 to 400:1 depending on your source. 2) The family that owns Walmart has 4 of the top 10 richest people in the USA, while many full time Walmart workers need public assistance b/c their pay and benefits are inadequate…so taxpayers subsidize the workers while the owners enrich themselves. 3) One CEO had the gall to suggest that the richer you are, the more votes you should have. 4) Superpacs and rich donors have corrupted our election process. 5) If capitalism is unchecked, will we return to the late 1800’s and “robber-baronism”?

    1. Panhandle Rancher says:

Back up a bit Gene. Are Wal Mart workers enslaved? Have they the right to seek work elsewhere and even augment skill set through college or other training thus preparing them for advancement?

It often comes down to whose ox is being gored. Had you majored in CEO and become one, your perspective would no doubt differ.

Other political systems have long embodied the principle of greater wealth and greater say in government. I have dined at a most elegant gazetted officer’s mess in the old Hong Kong and although the the Lion has adopted a more meritocratic service these days, the gazette worked well enough to found and govern an empire.

Then I’m often a contrarian but we do agree that choices for chief executive will likely be between the better of the worst rather than the better of the exemplary.

  9. Oren says:

It is unfortunate but I think the transformation of this country into a socialist state ruled by a dictator …. let me start over. America is already there. The conversion to socialism started long ago. Our dictator came on board long ago well before Obama. Both parties have gradually let the curtain down and exposed themselves as private clubs that view the insiders as entitled and the rest of us as nothing more than serfs. They have to keep us somewhat placated by having elections that most peoples are now seeing as rigged. Make no mistake. I am a dyed in the wool patriot. I dropped out of college to join up and go to Vietnam…yeah, before the rush for Canada came along. When I came home, I went back to school to finish my degree in engineering. Big difference in the atmosphere.
I think this country is entering the “end game” where the two parties, hooked together at the hip, aspire to reach the same goals, just using a little different tactic. If you’ll notice, many of the issues the two parties agree on. The Conservative Christian in this country is rapidly becoming the target of choice. It’s ironic that from what I’ve seen, the Prepper ranks are predominately, Conservative Christian in this country. I think the time is rapidly approaching where we will have to stand and live or die with our choice. Hillary will only accelerate it, Trump won’t be able to stop it, even though he may try. It’s on the way.

    1. JR says:

I agree with the majority of what you state Oren. I don’t think we are already there but on the precipice ready to tumble forward into an ever accelerating decline into socialism. Your comment about both parties joined at the hip is right on the money to a large extent. Just look at the lack of work in COngress by the GOP since they were given the majority. Also agree Trump will not be able to stop it – no one can.

    2. Panhandle Rancher says:

Oren, I have suggested to the wife that no less than Marines from Eighth and Eye may be required to move that socialist Muslim from the White House.

Having so said, isn’t it great to live in a country where one can criticize the executive without fear of a midnight knock on the door?

The benefit of the vote is that in the design everyone had a voice.. (notice I said design.. not how it works now) The problem with the vote .. is that we have the most ignorant population on the planet when it comes to it’s own electoral process or basic understanding of our own government and how it operates. Let alone the history behind the country and why it matters. If you don’t understand the implications of your vote, how could you vote your conscience.. if you have one that is. No student shoudl graduate high school without passing a better than average citizenship test. Not having passed that test that non-citizen should not be allowed to vote until they can pass it. Further some criminal actions should bare the penalty of losing your vote and some losing your citizenship .. maybe that means both. Voting shoudl require two forms of ID.. Drivers licenses, and most important applications do.. so should voting. That makes it better tomorrow or maybe many tomorrows away.. It took us 200 years to screw it up .. it won’t be corrected in 4 no matter who wins. It corrects appointments eventually as well.. We shoudl limit terms of service to SERVICE.. and not careers in politics.. not should we pay politicians for life for having served.. IMO. This election we play the long game and plan.. practice the 3 B’s and see to our families and friends.. and be ready .. whether Minutemen, Sheepdogs or 3%ers. Patriotism isn’t a word it’s a mindset and lifestyle. It’s who you ARE not what you DO. also IMO
    “et adhuc ardentem candelam”

      1. goingray58 says:

a do the others who don’t though right ? There are two possibilities .. Diplomacy (or words and reason), failing that, force .. (Diplomacy by other means). Of the resistance to words.. there are two possibilities to failed diplomacy .. malicious intent (they know they are wrong and want to do it anyway) and Stupidity (words are meaning less and are brushed way as irrelevant). The malicious deserve force.. and they know it and are far less dangerous than the Stupid.. The stupid want for no other reason than the wanting.. The runny nosed kid that must have his way and if the majority says no, takes his ball and goes home, because if he can’t have his way he will ruin the game for everyone else. As Ron White said “You can’t fix stupid”, all you can do is get rid of it and minimize influence. My only care ifs for the ignorant IMO.. If they know, then you don’t really need more than to provide occasional support and thoughts to improve, if they don’t know, then my time is best spent teaching if they will listen.. If they won’t listen.. guess which pile they go in .. I apparently am all about metaphors today..
Good thoughts PR.. You do cover a great many quotes and topics.. thanks .. makes me think more .. If I am lucky I do it before I speak.. still working on that particular filter.. likely into forever..

  12. LibertysTeeth says:

Both parties are the same. All they care about is getting re-elected, and those HUGE pensions they give themselves. They even exempt themselves from the laws they make us live under. God help this country. And keep yer powder dry!

  13. John Gault says:

The state of this nation is truelly disheartening and will continue its slow decline, unabated by elections or events. If we hold any sway at all in this country’s future it probably doesn’t extend beyond slowing the momentum downward. Even that minimal influence is in question. I have read elsewhere and believe it myself, that those with conservative, pro constitutional leanings are beginning to fear letting those beliefs be known. There are a litany of reasons for this and those reasons are real. When silence becomes a plausible option…it’s over.

Just as today, in the near future there will be areas more free than others and the remnants of what America once represented will linger for a time….some ideas don’t die easily……

  14. John Gault says:

And what of Trump? I was as close to a #neverTrump as one could be but had a change of heart….

Do you know the story that makes up the movie ‘The Magnificent Seven’? In short: an Arizona boarder town inhabited by a mix of predominantly Catholic Americans and Mexicans trying to carve out a hard-scrabble life off the land while living and worshipping in peace and harmony. Problem is- every so often Mexican bandits cross the boarder into their town raping, pillaging and murdering. The town’s people are to ill equipped or to cowardly to stop it so they decide to find and hire those who can. They send someone with the town’s savings to Tuscan or Mesa, or Yuma… some big Arizona city to hire who can save their little town. In doing so they were not looking for good descent Catholics who believed what they believed, no… they were looking for gunfighters, men ruthless and intimidating. Men lawless and of questionable character, men that they would normally never want in their town much less invite, but men who could face down and defeat the bandits…the only men who could save them and their town. I don’t share much in common with Trump. We disagree on many things and if he became president he might prove to be a disaster….but he is as likely to save the damn town so I will actively support him and pray…. the alternative after all is completely unthinkable….

Not enough?….well there’s the Supreme Court and the 2nd amendment and #neverHillary and…

    1. goingray58 says:

Ditto on all counts.. Let the gun slinger sling and help if you can, and if not .. stay out of the line of fire.. Most won’t like his speech or maybe his methods… When it’s done you still have a slinger to deal with.. in all the gunfighter meme’s they either have to be forcibly removed, or they ride off in to the sunset.. That might be tough to do.. However like you.. I think.. Even if he burned the town to the ground.. fine .. we need a new house anyway… The other options produce a dynasty of evil to Rival Stalin and the Axis and possibly exceed that.. So we vote to give T the match and see. We do need to build up our extinguishers though .. and be prepared .. just sayin.. I mean in case the ride off in to the sunset is not his style. Good meme.. May have to go find the movie again.. and watch it..

      1. John Gault says:

One night s few months back it came on and I sat and watched it. At the end is when it hit me. Unlike many I don’t want revolution. What I want is competent, accountable, frugal and constitutional governance. This appears to be out of reach but who’s to say. There may yet be some event, some occurrence or phenomenon that causes a mass awakening….

        1. Panhandle Rancher says:

Term limits, flat tax, and a balanced budget amendment could save the country – but no professional politician would ever vote himself out of office. We amongst all peoples have exactly the government we deserve.

If you like SF, by all means read, We Knew They Were Coming, by Tabankin. It is available free if you have Kindle Unlimited. Not a bad read and imagines the Trump Administration facing a real alien menace. Neat turn on a theme.

  15. Steve j says:

We have a broken, corrupted system. To fix it: term limits (after a second term victory, Congressional re-election rate is way above 90%), no Superpacs, no lobbyists, no private or corporate campaign donations (how are they not bribes?…many donate to both candidates in an election!), only publicly funded campaigns.

GOINGRAY58, you’re right about educated voters. I taught high school for 40 years–mostly honors classes thank goodness-but many of my “average” students couldn’t care less about learning or even reading. Our society now reflects this, sadly. BTW there is a growing trend to let any student “opt in” to Advanced Placement classes if they desire. What does this say about society and entitlement?

    1. John Gault says:

I’ve always thought that when schools switched from teaching Civics to teaching Social Studies it was the beginning of the end…
