    My dad was USMC on Guadalcanal. Hell of a man.
    Lost him many years ago, but think of him a lot, especially when I need to make an important decision!

    Same here John. Unfortunately, I was cursed with watching my Dad disappear a piece at a time due to Alzheimer’s. I stayed angry at the world for over a year. Thankfully the company I worked for had great management and a resident head doctor. That’s how I pulled out of the funk. My Dad has been gone for about 10 years now. But I still catch myself wanting to call him to talk. It’s something we as off spring will never get over.

    Miss mine also. Would give anything to hear and see him react to the shit show we got going on these days. He was hard working man. Give the shirt off his back as long as you weren’t walking around just expecting it. A regular Don Juan meets John Wayne lol….
